Hidden Love (2023)

The story isn't similar but both of them have the same relaxed vibe with two main character who know how to communicate like grown-ups.

Both are sweet romantic dramas, with great families (female lead's) that nurture and support their daughters in who they love. Both male leads are enamored at first, and a slow burn to love.

Because its give me the same vibes.

>Both dramas have memories of the older guy and the younger girl sharing time when the girl was still a student and then they get separated for some reason, and then see each other again when they are adults, or in particular, when the girl is now an adult and can be of dating age.

>Both male leads did not waste time to pursue the girl this time because it was the proper time to do so, not when the girl is young and that would be illegal anyways.

>Both dramas had sweet and cute moments between the leads. So much chemistry and giddiness with both couples.

>Only difference is that in Doctors, the setting is medical and they become colleagues at work. In Hidden Love, they are not, but still in the same city and see each other regularly and has good feelings toward each other.

>Story is totally different. But in my opinion, female leads look somewhat alike. Like, you have to watch it to believe it. Park Hye Soo is the Korean version of Zhao Lusi.

>Story is alike in a way of the dorm set up. Like, the 4 girls in a dorm in Hidden Love is similar to the set up of 3 girls in a dorm in Dear M. Also the 4 boys (the brothers friends) are dorm mates too in Hidden Love and share stories of their love lives. Same with the 3 boys in Dear M.

>Both have dorm mates with stories of love life of each of them I guess. In Hidden Love, its just 2 out of the 4 girls is "dating".

>Maybe its a stretch, but sure, the ML in Dear M is also harboring a "hidden love" for his best friend since he was in high school. So its also classified as "Hidden Love" right.

We find a similar plot with a childhood love with age difference. They will meet again later and they will both be adults and will be able to start their love story. Romance takes place over several years like HIDDEN LOVE.

>Both shows are about the older guy being serious to the younger girl against all odds. In Hidden Love, even if the family is against them, he still fights for it. In CRL, even if the guy is a teacher, he still took responsibility of his feelings to the girl, his student.

>Both shows are so giddy, nice to watch and MLs are so handsome. In CRL, Yamapi is so charismatic...

>Similar but in a different angle. Older guy, younger girl in both. But in Hidden Love, its the ML and the FL . In Daytime, its the FL and SML who is younger and older. But the FL likes the SML so much, before the ML himself appeared in the picture.

>In Hidden Love, FL and ML goes way back with their history with each other. In Daytime, the FL only meets the SML when she transfers to the city just recently and falls in love with an older guy who turns out to be her homeroom teacher in her new school.

>Similar with both shows having an older guy and a younger girl.

>Difference would be that in Hidden Love, only boyfriend/girlfriend relationship but in My Little Bride, its straight up marriage right away because of the movie plot.

>Similarities also is that in both shows, both FLs like the MLs since they were young, like little girls. But in My Little Bride, she was in denial for quite a while when she grew up, but also admitted it or the movie showed in the end that she likes her husband when she was very young.

Both series have the vibes interms of interactions between leads. HIDDEN LOVE features cute moments, giggles and light hearted conversation between leads through the time( both past story line and today). STARTUP THE ENGINE shows those moments in a limited way and only for the leads romantic relationship. The vibes, theme, jokes and feelings if the scenes are the same in both

If u like Zhaolusi drama then this is a must watch, it's a historical drama but it's worth it, everything about this drama is great the side characters everybody will leave a impact in ur heart

If u like Zhaolusi drama and yang yang then u hit a jackpot with the most amazing chemistry and a greenflag ml and fl with a healthy relationship, it's a historical drama with a great plot it's a big brain drama

Very similar vibe in terms of romance, vibe and chemistry between leads

Though story wise and how their romance plays out is very different but I can assure you'll get the same feels from both the dramas
- And the wait for them to get together is WORTH IT!

Both start out in high school and have an age gap between the leads with the younger one chasing the older.
