Could Have Been So Much Better
Frankly, it is irrelevant how many worlds this series had; even a half a dozen more would not have helped. It is just awful. I am sorry to say that as I so wanted to like this drama. However, this is again going to be one of those series that if you are a fan of the two leads (which I really am), you will perhaps enjoy this series. I tried, but for me the whole thing fell apart at the beginning- from the banal screenplay to production issues to vapid acting. All of it was just plain mediocre to subpar. The storyline was a good one, initially. I love transcendental legends, and this had all the earmarks of a great fantasy. The supernatural power of the Moon Shadow Waterfall is both miraculous and metaphysical. It can transport you to a parallel world where your loved one who died is not dead in that world but lives a conforming life. They are not resurrected by the same person in a parallel world. A worthy premise.

IMPERFECT BUT BREATHTAKING AND HARD TO MOVE ON TO
The Drama was actually not a waste of time, there was a quality and depth about this drama, it was unique that we can no longer see a leads wearing engineering uniforms or super rich male leads , the characters here are just a simple humans and a son of a gangster which actually can happen in real lifeSome parts of this drama is not convincing, specially in the parts where there was hostages , the actions and acting of some characters are not really reaching to the point of what should the reaction be in those kind of situation, but as a whole the message was delivered well and understood and it was great
The Story was quite not easy to understand as a whole, you will really need to read every lines and understand every situation to understand the story but it was direct, no minutes of this drama is wasted, every thing was maximized, there was no idle moments or scenes.
The Acting of Max and Nat was excellent , I am really a fan of them , they improved a lot as time goes on , we can really see how comfortable they are with each other, they almost looked like a real lovers and their scenes together can be felt as you watch them.
The story is very Unique, I really hope there can be a real another world where we can meet the people we love that has died in our world, that probably still living in another world just like Kram , he was actually wanting to save Phupa his lover on his world in the other world but as he do that he found P'Tai ,, P'Tai was strong and manly but a very gentle man, it was like when Kram got sick Tai of another world saved him using the rare fruit and so he is able to live again , I was just wondering why does he had to go back to his own world where he has found his love and a good life in an other world where in the end they both went back to P'Tai's world, Anyways maybe it was to show that he have nothing more to get back with in his own world , only he had left his father, he could've just went back with father also right? I also was always looking forward for Joe And Wayu , they were so cute, and was actually happy they are getting married . The story was confusing at first but it was very romantic, I was actually glad about the making love part , you can really feel the love not lust. The last part was a bit rushed , I really do hope it could be like 12 or 14 episode because things have gotten interesting as the story unfolds and so many questions not yet answered. I really also love the ending they just lived peacefully and happy and 10 years has passed.
I would definitely re watch this one properly one day .. I regret I did not watched it properly because of my busy schedule , but this is such a worth to watch, it had the same vibes as the ATOTS and if I will be asked I think I will be choosing this one than of ATOTS , also they seems to have almost the same them song. I can agree with what the reviews here are saying--that This so far was the best drama of MaxNat. I actually enjoyed it, After i watched this, I got the feeling of when After watched Cherry Magic Thailand, it is that I do not want to watch other dramas for the mean time like I cannot move on right away , and for me that what makes a drama good as a drama fanatic . The OST might be my playlist for the whole week. The scenes are breathtaking and so romantic not perfect but I like it, See you again P'Tai and Kram and Joe adn Wayu

Better than Naughty Babe
Pros:* No CGI tiger (jk there is one lmao, but it's not as cringe)
* Nat's acting improved (a little)
* Interesting plot/premise
* Drastically better (in my opinion) than Naughty Babe
* The set and music were pretty nice
Cons:
* Max still seems stuck with the same tone and facial expressions
* Again, Nat's acting only improved a little
* Got a little fuzzy in the execution and definitely had some slow parts
Overall worth watching if you like MaxNat, maybe if you don't know them. if you don't care for them then I doubt this will impress you. I do give it major points for creativity and a little action between Nat and someone who isn't Max.

Wow, acting was outstanding
The story was not that hard to follow as some reviews suggest and it is explains where his dad went. But in saying that sometimes I did get lost. But very interesting story but after episode 7 they could have finished maybe 8 because you wanted the two side characters together. But why I liked it so much was because of the acting, all actors nailed it. They were all great from the blind mother to the bad guys.
Nat who played Kram, wow he was amazing for such a young actor, he nailed it and the kissing and sex scenes were so believable. Nat really did a great job and crying scenes were mostly real, Max is a solid actor but could smile more. Gun is a bit stiff he needs to relax more.
Loved Pak and Wayu so cute. Plak is a scary looking guy, definitely a great gangster. Loved the young kids.
Rewatch value is low as I never rewatch anything.
Loved Nat in his other series.

Much improvement from Max and Nat
While I don't dislike the pairing of Max and Nat, their acting always felt "off" for me.. it's hard to explain exactly. Sometimes I felt like the chemistry wasn't really there or they just needed some polishing up. Since they'd been around for a while, I would expect "more" from them. But they weren't ever terrible and still very enjoyable to watch overall. They definitely showed improvement here, in all aspects. Their individual acting as well as acting together was very good. There were only a couple of instances where I thought "Oop, there's the Max and Nat I remember" but I would say 90% of the time, it was much more refined and "grown up," if that makes sense. I don't mean grown up as in NC content, just in the way they have matured in their own acting and being comfortable in their own skin and opposite other actors.
Going into this series, I was really exited to see Gun again because I loved him in Unforgotten Night but thought his character there had a weak story arc and he, as an actor, got short changed to be able to showcase his actual talent. He certainly had the deserved screen time and storyline here in Two Worlds. He may have been in this weird main/side character role creating a love triangle that wasn't actually a love triangle, but it all worked and he pulled off the struggle and two world personalities well. (Although his was one character that wasn't much different in either world, it was more the situations that were changed because of how Max's character was different in each world.)
Speaking of the storyline.. it was really well thought out and executed in a way that made sense, even with its complexity. I was afraid that when there are alternate universes and different versions of the same people, it might get confusing but everything was very clear throughout the entire series.
This was another series where I wish the side couple had more screen time and overall effort put into their development. They had a friends to enemies to lovers arc that was interesting but never truly explored properly. All of their scenes together felt like an afterthought as if the editor was like "Oh yeah, we should probably move this couple along" after one or both of them were on screen with the main couple or other characters. I don't know if there are plans for a spin off for them but they certainly had potential that unfortunately wasn't utilized. Even so, when they finally got together, it was so satisfying. But once they did, we literally never see them again. I don't even know if they can be considered a side couple or if they were just there for fan service, at this point.
One of the most interesting aspects of this show was the fact that the entire chain of events in both universe timelines were all dependent on whether Thai decided to follow in his father's footsteps or if he followed his heart and more true nature. It was interesting to see that idea of how one person's choice could effect so many other lives.
I was very impressed with this series and am surprised I don't hear more people talking about it. I thought it was very good all around and I would definitely watch it again or recommend it to others.

Beautiful Series
Such a beautiful series, I loved this story. I cried a few times especially near the end with world 1 Thai đ„ș. I liked how Kram got to see two sides to Thai, so later on he could see the good in world 1 Thai. I love how no matter what world Kramâs in both Thaiâs do everything they can to love & protect him. I love the opening title music. The side couple was also definitely it when it came to SHOWING love, Wayu was there for Jao helping talk him thru his feelings & help him with moving on from Thai (to him đ)Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Blue pool of destiny
I loved it! And even though its flaws are many, I have enjoyed this immensely! Now I am more than certain: I love thai BLs rated below 7.5. Those above I find unwatchable! The plot is rather original: involving a blue magic waterfall pool at a full moon which connects two parallel universes and a man accidentally crossing the boundary, deciding to help his boyfriend's counterpart and ends up falling for a bad boy with a heart of gold! I am a sucker for such characters: apparently ambiguous and grey but deep down kind and righteous!
BTW, this year's thai bls seem to swing between parallel universe and vampires! Full marks for originality, sincerely! I cannot watch another school BL....
Unfortunately, in spite of its original premise, this drama does not manage to avoid many heteronormative tropes. The main character is uke, Kram who seems to be smart and unexpectedly strong even though he is slight in built. But after a couple of episodes he becomes the stereotypical damsel in distress with a baby voice! That was a disappointment. Tai, on the other hand is a typical seme, macho, strong and silent type, gang boss' son but actually nice. And, oh boy, does he take care of his Kram!
The acting was top notch from the entire cast particularly the actors playing parents who were here less two dimensional, clichés. I don't particularly like the height difference but the actors had decent chemistry and were very much at ease with each other so I managed to bear with it! The cinematography is beautiful as well: the drama takes place in the jungle so the feeling we got from the screen were dreamy, subdued, fuzzy and sparkling. Amazing! The music was probably the best I've ever heard in a thai bl, completely different from the usual fare and more reminiscent of c drama music with a lot of flutes and some romantic piano music, it actually gave me butterflies. The poster for this drama is just awful: dark and scary and it does not present it in a correct light because there is a lot of comedy carried on expertly by the second couple!
The packaging of this drama was perfect. What was missing was the content: after the initial promise, the package was actually empty. There were gangsters, murders, kidnappings, painting, running around and plot holes...I am still trying to figure out why would Tai's father kill himself after killing his own boss and coming out on top of the mob world? Completely illogical in my book!...There were many make out scenes, beautifully filmed and choreographed (the second couple go full monty on us, from the back though...) but too many and too long! There was a mysterious illness and a lot of blood spitting, again reminiscent of c dramas...
I still don't know how I feel about the ending. It was a happy ending and the main couple get their happily ever after but it had left me with a bitter after taste since the other version of a MC gets his redemption but does not get to enjoy it. I guess they needed to make space for the original version of the MC but it does not sit well with me.
Nevertheless, I loved this drama but you need to go in it well aware of its flaws, that it is fantasy and that the phones are nowhere to find! Almost! That was refreshing!

MaxNat never fail
Kram is adorable and Tai is stern but cuteThis series was beautiful for MaxNat they really have proven what they can do as actors and shown how much chemistry they have it was a beautiful story and I was not disappointed at anytime!
Max-- Tai is such a beautiful character and to portray 2 different personalities in the same role is amazing and max really showed his skills as an actor.
The ending was perfect in my opinion and I cried so winwin!

MaxNatâs Alternate Universe Madness: Why Am I Screaming?
Listen, yâall. When I tell you I screamed, I mean I screamed. Like, actual unholy noises left my body the second I saw MaxNat headlining this series. Iâve been WAITING for this moment since forever, and they finally did it. Main couple energy? MAXIMUM. Objectivity? Out the damn window. If youâre here for a calm, unbiased review, sis, this is not that. But if you wanna hear me lose my mind over alternate universes, sexual tension, and some very questionable plot choices, letâs go.---
Max as Thai:
This man? A WHOLE-ASS MEAL. A five-course dinner. Michelin-starred. BUTâand I say this with loveâwhy is Thai such a little bitch when it comes to emotions? Like, youâre out here assassinating people, dodging bullets, looking like a snack, but the minute someone brings up feelings, you malfunction? Get it together, sir.
Thaiâs whole vibe is âemotions are for the weak, my heart is bulletproof,â and honestly, I was living for it. UNTIL THEY WATERED HIM DOWN. Where is the trauma? Where is the grit? Thai shouldâve been out here breaking hearts and causing chaos, but instead, they gave him this half-ass redemption arc that felt...meh. Like, I wanted him to ruin Khramâs life before he started fixing it. Is that toxic? Yes. Do I care? Not even a little.
And then thereâs Thai 2.0. Oh my god, this man is a MESS. One minute, heâs like, âYou are not my Khramâ and the next, heâs all, âWait, maybe I love you?â Sir, please pick a lane before I lose my last brain cell. Also, where were the soft moments? I needed cuddles, forehead kisses, Thai 2.0 carrying Khram out of the rain while whispering sweet nothings. But noooo, we got the emotionally constipated version instead. Ugh.
---
Nat as Khram:
KING. ICON. LEGEND. Khram is the glue holding this messy-ass series together, and Nat EFFING DELIVERED. The way this man can cry on command? The way he made me feel every ounce of Khramâs pain? Give him an award. No, seriously, give him all the awards.
Khramâs whole personality is basically âIâll sacrifice everything for the people I love,â which is adorable but also HIGHLY ANNOYING. Like, sweetie, love yourself first. Youâre out here risking life and limb for people who canât even say âthank you.â And donât get me started on his loyalty to Phupha. Bitch, read the room. Phupha 2.0 doesnât even LIKE you, and youâre still out here crying over him? Babe, move on. Thai 2.0 is RIGHT THERE.
Also, major respect to Nat for acting in the forest despite having sensitive skin. The way this man is willing to suffer for his art? We donât deserve him.
---
Gun as Phupha:
Phupha is the literal definition of âgaslight, gatekeep, girlboss,â and I mean that in the worst way possible. OG Phupha was sweet, loving, and lowkey perfect, so of course, they had to KILL HIM OFF. Thanks for nothing, writers. Then they gave us Phupha 2.0, who is just...a selfish little prick. Like, sir, you donât get to treat Khram like garbage after everything heâs been through. The AUDACITY.
But letâs be real: Gun absolutely slayed this role. The duality? The range? I hate Phupha 2.0 with every fiber of my being, but I canât even be mad at Gun for it because he ATE.
---
The Plot:
Okay, so the whole âalternate universeâ thing was cute or whatever, but yâall...the logic? NONEXISTENT. Theyâre like, âOh, just jump into the river under a blue moon, and boom, youâre in another dimension.â What in the Disney Channel Original Movie is this?
And donât even get me started on the pacing. One minute, theyâre fighting for their lives, and the next, theyâre having a heartfelt conversation by the campfire. PICK A VIBE. Also, where is the angst?? I needed Thai 2.0 to mess up big time, Khram to hate him for at least two episodes, and then a dramatic reconciliation with tears and shouting. Instead, we got...whatever this was.
And the action scenes? A JOKE. Max couldâve been flipping people over and kicking down doors, but instead, they gave us a two-minute scuffle that looked like it was choreographed by my little cousin. Disrespectful.
---
The Steam:
Letâs talk about the cave scene. YâALL KNOW THE ONE. I had to pause, rewind, and watch it again because holy hell, the CHEMISTRY. MaxNat understood the assignment and then some. The way they looked at each other? The way they touched? I was blushing, screaming, and considering drinking holy water, all at the same time.
But real talk, the rest of the sex scenes? A little tame. I mean, they were good, donât get me wrong, but whereâs the variety? Whereâs the angry sex? The makeup sex? Give me all the flavors, damn it.
---
The OST:
Yeah, I forgot it existed. Next question.
---
Final Thoughts:
Look, this series isnât perfect. The plot is messy, the action is lackluster, and the angst is barely there. BUT MaxNat carried it on their gorgeous, talented backs, and for that, I will always stan.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would I rewatch it? Only the cave scene. Final score: 9.5/10, and thatâs only because MaxNat are my babies.

Beautiful but lacking substance
Our MaxNat have returned and take on a fantasy time jump theme. This line would make any serious BL-fan salivate and so it did. And it's a good watch. Max and Nat are improving their acting every next show, and there's not a lot to criticize, apart from the mannerisms of mostly Nat. What I do criticize is acting of the supporting cast (awful) and the lack of screentime for the second couple. I would've liked to see them interact more after that night in the cabin, but alas. The main lovestory is meant to be an epic one spanning dimensions. Unfortunately, while the love is certainly there, the whole epic-ness is underwhelming. This is mainly due to sloppy writing. The story is second to almost everything else. I was more impressed with some of the scenery (beautiful trees and caves). This means that although acting, background and theme are great, it falls a bit flat because it lacks the substance of a real epic tale that fits all that.
Special note for the NC scenes. These are amazing. I would even say epic. And also note the kissing.. Especially TaiKram and how that's different from PhuphaKram.

I was like... Hold on!!!
I love fantasy n sci-fi, that's why i was giving it a shot. I started with no expectation, coz i kinda feel that it would be lame. And it was a little lame for me, sorry. The story is interesting, however some are a little bit silly with no logic. What popped out in my mind is the berry! Like... Oh my, you're going that far only for a single berry? Why dont you grab a lot more; in case he relapse.
And when Aunt Lhu said 2 of same name people couldn't be in the same world, then they proceed to qill Tai in this world so Tai from other world could exist. And when she said she met herself in other world, why don't she die? đ (i know she got somekind of power, but okay..)
For the couple:
Since I didn't know the official pairing, I thought PhupaxKram is the pairing. I think they got a lot more chemistry than the main. Tai is gorgeous, but PhupaxKram chemistry got me hooked. Feel free to disagree.
Also the 2nd couple just go straigth there after confessing is hella WILD. I didnt know it would be that revealing lol
The acting&characters :
Some are good, some are bearable. Kram's acting is good, he reminds me of Plan's character in Love By Chance (silly, soft hearted, naive) but with smoother acting.
Overall, it's quite worth watching. Just dont bring that much logic in it when youre watching. Sometimes i couldn't help but complaining "demn, that's so silly. You should blabla"
