I just finished watching this drama. Not even an hour has passed and im reliving all the episodes in my mind. The ML, the FL and the entire cast did an amazing job in this spectacular story.This story really is just beautiful and though it isnt very "serious" it still shares some important messages about making mistakes and how change sometimes is and isnt possible.
I still cant get over how many cringy moments this drama had but i was still hooked.
The thing i loved most had to be how communication played a key role in this drama. Not a lot of miscommunication and NO breakups ??.
Just go ahead and start this drama, you wont regret it one bit, at least i didn't ?

Adorable rom-com
This is the sweetest romantic comedy. It is genuinely funny. It's so cute. Absolutely 100% worth a watch. It didn't have those miscommunication tropes a lot of these shows seem to have. It's so genuine. Really, give this a watch, you won't regret it. I seriously can't believe I HAVE to write a 500 character review. What else is there to say? You don't need a synopsis, just watch the show. You'll fall in love with all the characters too. So yeah, you really really really really really watch this.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Ri muito nos primeiros episódios, o fato dele ter se apaixonado por ela a primeira vista e seus caminhos se entrelaçarem de maneira divertida e vergonhosa foi muito bom. O dorama tem todo plot de romcom, amor de infância, cenas fofas e bregas, embustes querendo separar os protas, quase morte perto do final, tudo que no fundo amamos haha. justice vs penguin
to those who watched the drama, the title will make sense ?↔️? I never comment or put a review on any kdrama but this was such an enjoyable watch. the only thing that sucked is it wasn’t longer than 16 episodes ????❤️❤️ I loved everything from the start to the end. the main two actors need to get married irl fr! this drama has everything from romance to comedy to real life lessons. LOVE. MUS WATCH! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️sunhwas acting is phenomenal, used to love watching all her variety shows including wgm.

A Gem!
Oh my God! This drama is a gem. I love it so much. Each character has their own storyline and they all are so cute. I cry and laugh all the time watching this drama. The storyline in Kdrama normally gets bored after main leads are falling in love. But this one is not. And rarely Kwon Yul is not a bad person here.If you are hesitate to watch this drama, don't read bad comments and bad reviews and just watch it now. You won't regret it. And you won't be able to stop watching it. Oh my God, they are so cute.

2016 ROM COM FEEL is back
English is not my first language so apologizing way ahead..I'm halfway through the show..
Its a ROM COM pure and pure.. Childhood trope , cohabitation trope, found family trope, rough looking ML with bubbly FL.. Cute animations..
Story:
The male lead gangster turned entrepreneur is now a CEO of meat processing company hiring ex convicts.. Not every ex convict.. Just the ones who show redemption and actually admit that they did wrong and would not make same mistake once again meets our kids content creator aka FL (who's looking for her childhood neighborhood oppa)in a classic misunderstanding way and then the story begins...
Cast
1.Um tae goo is the actor who plays our ML and 40 in real life mainly works in movie business than dramas.. His most roles are related to gangster, mobs, psychopaths ,spy and this is his first mainstream media rom com lead...Oh god.. His acting is CrAZzzY... .ROUGH on the outside and total softie -pookie from inside. His voice and his eyebrows needs a seperate appreciation post..
2.Han sun hwa as our FL.. She's cute but not in an annoying way..

Her hairstyle is the only thing which is not right... They gave her bangs to give that innocent feel.. But once you see her in the eyes of our ML then you'll realize that she's actually way more beautiful..
Fun fact : um tae goo (as lead) and han sun hwa (as supporting) has acted together in 2019 SAVE ME 2 mystery psychological thriller as love interests and coincidentally her name in both the dramas is Go Eun Ha
3. Kwon yul as prosecutor hyun woo. He is annoying to the core.. He's written like that.. No offence to the actor.. But these kinds of people are seen more in the society.. Prejudiced
4. The supporting actors around both our ML and FL gives justice to their roles.. No overcooking or undercooking
DIRECTION : kudos to director..
To balancing out the goofiness and seriousness of the script ..
You can see there are many foreshadowing and easter eggs present in each scene.. for e.g.
SPOILER..
1. In ep 1 , our FL dons a SOJU costume for part time job.. and 2 ep later, our ML got drunk on soju and opens his heart to our FL..
2. In ep 2 , our male lead is standing by a banner in bus stop ( regarding a documentary on penguin ?like how male penguins helps in nesting of eggs )
And Yes.. In ep 6 he uses that penguin technique of huddling to keep our FL warm when stuck in a freezer..

So yeah... Its goofy its ROM COM inggg so hard and has high rewatch value for all the rom com enthusiasts..

I was so excited when I started the series & already after the first episode I was like … What?? is this for real? ? the ML was supposed to be some kind of “gangster” with an extra low voice and all but behaved like a 12 y/o who just hit puberty. He’s in his mid 30s, seems to have no clue about how people, especially women, behave, but is able to run a big company. Like come on ? why not make him at least a little morally grey? And the FL is 30 and loses one job after another and doesn’t care about it? She’s also behaving like no one ever touched her before. Sadly, I also felt like there was no chemistry between them. This drama made me cry…of LAUGHTER. The writers are so smart and episode 10 has been the best regarding comedy so far. I seriously don’t understand how the actors keep it together while filming this.This show is bringing back what a real romcom is. romance + COMEDY!
Also I fell in love with the voice of the male lead so bad, it makes me want to learn korean, if he would do the listening excercises, so mesmerizing.
Tune in if you want to have good romance + laughter.

A great romcom
My watch list has been all over the place lately, but I am always a sucker for a good romcom and MSM ticked all the right boxes for me.The perfect amount of cute fluff, which acted as a weekly palette cleanse for some of the other shows I’m watching lately. I like that it had a unique setup/storyline that kept me interested and wasn’t too heavy.
Many of my favourite tropes, minimal angst/misunderstandings, and the casting? Nailed it.
I fell in love with so many of the characters and laughed so much. The ML and FL had good chemistry, and I adored the MLs posse of ex cons/gangsters. I will definitely be seeking out more dramas involving many of these actors. Will be adding to my favourites list and would likely rewatch.

Very catchy series, thanks to the plot, well served by the charisma of Uhm Tae Goo.
PLOT: The CEO (and ex-gangster) of a Meat company which reintegrates into society former prisoners, meets the FL, Youtuber, content creator for children. Lots of misunderstandings, then complicity & love. The ML almost dismantled his father's gang (who is in prison, then released), but the rest of the gang was taken over by an evil crook. The father does everything to get his son back at the head of the gang...What I liked:
+ Excellent actors, all. I didn't know Uhm Tae Goo before but he is amazing in this role. He carries the series on his shoulders. Han Sun Hwa is beautiful, but I often find her quite expressionless :(
+ Well-written, credible story. The production is efficient, without downtime, and with a good portion of humor. The images are beautiful and the framing is well done.
+ Pleasant OSTs that fit well with the emotions of the moment.
=> A non-memorable series (except the participation of Uhm Tae Goo) but very addictive and nice.

Série très accrocheuse, grâce au plot, bien servi par le charisme de Uhm Tae Goo.
PLOT : Le CEO (et ex gangster) d'une Compagnie "de boucherie" qui réinsère d'anciens taulards, rencontre la FL, Youtubeuse, créatrice de contenu pour enfants. Bcp de malentendus, puis complicité & love. Le ML a presque démantelé le gang de son père (en prison, puis libéré), mais le reste du gang a été repris par un "tordu malfaisant". Le père fait tout pour récupérer son fils à la tête du gang ...
What I liked :
+ Excellents acteurs, tous. Je ne connaissais pas Uhm Tae Goo mais il est génial dans ce rôle. Il porte la série sur ses épaules. Han Sun Hwa est belle, mais je la trouve souvent assez inexpressive :(
+ Story bien écrite, crédible. La réalisation est efficace, sans temps mort, et avec une bonne part d'humour. Les images sont belles et les cadrages bien travaillés.
+ OST agréables et qui s'accordent bien aux émotions du moment.
=> Une série non mémorable (sauf la participation de Uhm Tae Goo ) mais très addictive et sympa.

Gives u the old kdrama feels
Firstly I need to give my appreciation to the FL's character! So well written and she has so much empathy, patience and brains (which many Fl's lack) Totally loved and adored ko eun ha!Secondly THE SL>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Man was one of the best second leads ever! he was actually a good man, contributed so much to the plot, and helped the FL(as always)! He was such a wholesome character! Unlike the SL from my man is cupid (he pissed me off) And the actor has amazing acting skills because his character was completely opposite to his role in connection and he nailed it!(Ik because I watched both together, because their ongoing dates clashed)
And the star of the show seo ji hwan! He is the ultimate green flag! He acted so well and his character too was extremely well written! His deep voice = heaven!! I'll be waiting for his future projects!
I do want to talk about Il young, whenever he is in a drama it's a delight to watch! I've been rooting for him since Cheer Up, and I'm so happy he got an awesome ending!
And lastly, the thirsty deer guys and their bond tears me up! I absolutely love them!
This drama overall was soo good made me very happy!! I feel the old kdrama vibes and I love it!
