Fun. Initially I loved it but later ML got very one dimensional. By the end I was more interested in the secondary couple's story. (also would have loved if something happened with the prosecutor and his employee but oh well.) A lot of time was spent on MLs dad plot which I did not really like since it was inconsequential in the end, but I will forgive that since this was a lighthearted romcom. Mobsters with Diabetes
Why Mobsters with Diabetes? They’re too sweet to be true. These are less mobsters and more white collared criminals wanting to reform by working hard to assimilate back into society- a society that is not willing to give them second chances.Then enter Mob Boss aka Mr Soul aka Mr Voice aka Mr Sexy AF Mofo. He has cheekbones of steel and a voice of thunder. Not only is he loyal, loving and kind, he is also a teddy bear in disguise.
Take this and add in the usual Kdrama formula and you get an incredibly sweet and light drama:
- co habitating
- group of funny friends
- strong and hard working FL
- SML who isn’t an asshole, persistent but not pushy
- there’s really no love triangle, ML and FL only love each other
- a sprinkle of serious moments but mostly fun and hilarious moments
I would watch just to hear ML whisper murderous threats to me.

a nice little drama
I had no expectations going into this one but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The premise is fine , but I didn't love the angle of the FL being a 'kids content creator' or the 'cutesy' sorta stuff around that .That said what did it for me was the ML his acting even when overly cute with the FL was great , combined that with a raspy sorta voice it fit his character's background to a t and was pretty hot in some of the romantic moments which ... Are a bit fewer and farther between than I prefer .
The secondary cast was great , I don't think this show would be half as good without them cause while the main leads are good in their own way the comedy is truely rounded out by the support cast's interactions with the main couple.
All and all I really liked this drama and the pacing of it , it was neither too short nor too long and didn't over stay its welcome in the slightest. I can't say i'd watch it again but i was happy i did the one time.

cute and funny
This was such a nice and chilled K drama absolutely loved the combination of the cute female lead and the cold but soft male lead which was absolutely amazing. The storyline was so good. The side characters were perfect loved the proposal that was so adorable overall this is a very nice drama to watch and binge watch on a lovely weekend. It’s that kind of K drama that you watch when you just want to relax there’s a lot of funny scenes and those are my favourite funny scenes. Like everything just makes sense I was watching it on a weekly basis but it does have a binging potential so I would definitely recommend this kid drama. Do not judge it by anyone else else’s reviews. Just give it a shot and I promise you the first four episodes are so good.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Sweet sweet story
A different themed kdrama. I’m putting this on my favorite list. Just watched Lovely Runner and thought I wouldn’t find another show that I liked as much as I did it. This is such a sweet story and the ml is so adorable in his innocent crushing on the fl. Who cares if it’s far fetched. I think we are all here for a cute story and romance. A beautiful series
I started watching this drama with no expectations since I am not familiar with the ML and FL but wow, this drama is just amazing . I loved the story and acting. It is so funny and is addictive. This will be one of my fav kdrama. The second couple is too cute. The supporting cast has done a good job.I can't wait for more episodes.

Cheesy, boring, and forgettable
This is a typical K-drama with overused tropes - childhood oppas, piggy-back rides, cutesy FLs, a love rival. The story follows the same old trend creating a mediocre FL with no real talents. In comparison to ML, who is a former bad-boy mobster, tall and handsome, wears black, and has a voice as smooth as velvet, she is an unattractive, clumsy female who dresses like a grandma and has no real talents or ambition. But, a woman with a fashion sense and career aspirations is portrayed as an opportunistic b*tch. So therein lies the problem with this trope, the writers attempt to create a relatable girl-next-door stereotype, but end up with a clumsy and annoying mess who can't even wipe the floor without causing a scene. But, we are supposed to think this 30 y/o numbskull is adorable.The plot is slow and draggy. The two main characters have no real chemistry because the romantic scenes are reduced to comedic tropes. Their conversations are middle school level cringe, even though both are in their 30s. The only reason why ML is even attracted to FL is because she is good with kids, a rare quality indeed. And, as soon as he is attracted to her, all of his intelligence and bad-boy charm go out of the window turning him into a blubbering idiot. Apparently, the writers decided this level of tropey garbage is a convincing romantic development between two grown adults.
There is nothing new here. The plot is filled with same boring cliches and underwhelming romance.

My Sweet Mobster best rom com of the year. Deserve highest Rating..This series is definitely a depression killer, I'm glad I watched it, it gave me a great time for 2 months.
is the definition of a real romcom. l smiled, giggled like a silly, laughed out loud and cried too.
Yes, My Sweet Mobster is such a good representation of childhood friends to reunited greenflag lovers trope but let us not forget they also served us very silly chaotic sworn enemy in the start. :)

don't even get me started with his outstanding comedy. He is hilarious without even trying
Uhm Tae Goo outstandingly played the many layers of Seo Ji Hwan. He might not be the typical love at first sight oppa, but as you continue to watch him, you'll get captivated deeper and deeper by his unique charm and appeal. He's an undeniable talent who can pull off both looks and performance.

Es tan dulce
HistoriaEl título describe perfectamente lo que siento cuando lo veo al prota. La historia tiene momentos muy dulces, graciosos. Obviamente hay drama, accion pero se siente muy armonizado. Estoy enganchada con la pareja principal y solo deseo felicidad para el mafioso duro por fuera, blando por dentro. Me encanto, no me aburrió. La disfrute mucho. Honestamente en los capítulos finales, no estuve tan encantada como al principio pero seguramente porque los primeros episodios dejaron la vara muy alta. Además también quería un poco de pasión, más besos, pero bueno de todas formas fue genial el k-drama. Y fue una experiencia gratificante con su trama inesperada.
Actuación/elenco
Sus personajes, tanto protagonistas como secundarios me agradan. Al prota el personaje le queda perfecto ,y su voz. Amo su voz.
La prota me encanta, nada malo que decir.
Los amigos mafiosos encantadores.
Los demás nada especial que decir. La pareja secundaria no me interesó en un inicio, pero su desarrollo es inesperado y rápido al saltarse "pasos" . Es un contraste del romance lento e inocente de la pareja principal. Esta bien aunque se puede sentir apresurada.
Musica
Muy lindas canciones, no me encantaron de inmediato, pero más la escucho, más me gustan.

This drama has me giggling like a kid. Its so sweet and light hearted. Where has this ML came from??? His voice is OMG so ?. Hes also very handsome. Ive never seen him in anything before and now I need more with him in it! And II young the second of the gang is such a cutie too! Honestly I feel the FL is kind of annoying and they definitely could have found someone prettier. Other than the FL the rest of the drama is great! watch if you like sweet uncomplicated dramas
I was very excited when this drama was first announced but right when I saw that it's going to be 16 episodes I knew that it wouldn't be a 10 out of 10. Certain concepts need less episodes, 14 or even 12 would've worked better. The plot wasn't neither here nor there which is fine but don't try to change it in the last two episodes. Also please keep 30+ year olds who act like tweens away from me. Well if you like safe drams without much plot and cute pretty one dimensional characters give it a go. Fine drama to play in the back and chill but nothing more than that.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
