Just a small story - one time watch
I would like to start with saying female lead was not perfect for this role. They should have casted someone else for this role(This is just my personal opinion). Writers try to include most aspect of one persons life in this drama which was nice. They tried to show us friendship and love. There was some unwanted storyline in this series which was dragging.Jo Yoon Seo did a exceptional job. The way she acted as Bang Eun Joo, she was not acting, she was actually living the role. When she appeared on screen we will feel like going and kicking her.
Scenic beauty of the place that have shown in this dram is damn good.

A Small Town Romance With Quirky Characters
JTBC’s latest offering “Welcome to Samdalri” is a decades long saga of friendship, lost love and reconciliation. Starring Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun in the lead roles of Cho Yong Pil & Cho Sam Dal/Cho Eun Hye, the show transverses their journey as they reconnect after eight years of separation. The first thing that I noticed about this show is the scenic beauty. Shot in the backdrop of the beautiful Jeju island, the show banks on the small town life and its busy yet nosy neighborhood. Set in Samdalri (which is native to both Cho Yong Pil & Cho Sam Dal), the drama focuses on their reconciliation as Sam-dal returns to her hometown when her career plummets and she is at her wit’s end. The pilot episodes were pretty decent at introducing the individual characters and their current lives while keeping their past shredded in mystery. There is a lot going on in the backdrop that we are unaware of and these invisible issues have been adversely affecting their relationship for almost a decade. It's one of the best And the drama. It's all you need to sit down and watch it now for the holidays wonderful romantic healing. A JCW amazing in his role great as always and never lets me down. All the actors are amazing and have chemistry.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
The FL character is so problematic
Seriously the way the FL character is portrayed 6 episodes in is so problematic. I dont know if I should continue watching this until the end or just drop this right now. It is hard to accept that someone who worked her ass off to make a name for herself will just sit down and play the victim when she had every opportunity and resources to fight back. If its the mental health card that the scriptwriter is playing, it kinda feels unrealistic for me. Thankfully I find the characters around the FL entertaining - the male friend who owns the store, the niece, the gossiping ajummas.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
