Has he been limited to BLs because of he has been side characters in them before? I always worry. I just can't imagine trying to act a sexuality that's not your own. Ok, actually I can all to well given that's what I do every day of my life. It fricked me up. And to have to do that for the world at large? It isn't the same because you can go back to your straight life, but the shadow will always be there. I'm sure stranges on the street will stop them and ask, and they'll always be wondering if that's something the person across from them is judging them for.
Summary: I have never seen a couple with less chemistry in my entire life. but not in a bad acting kind of way (there are all too many of those). It was just two straight guys that couldn't reach that far into their psychy nor escape the world we live in that tells us that gayness is weird and wrong. I 100% can't do it.
Anways, the chemistry was so lacking, awkward, and embarrassing that I can't even watch them attempt anything more intimate. Hence stopping at ep 7. Reading theough peopel's comments and seeing that they had to do the most intimate types of scenes makes me shudder to think of it. And it seems like I wasn't the only one,
And still, Chimon's smirk. CHimon's half smile. We love to see it.

it's just the story that doesn't seems quite good tbh, the actors wise was totally fine
Dangerous Romance was an enjoyable series overall, though not without some uneven moments in the scriptwriting. The English title felt a bit misleading - "The Heart of the Wind" may have captured the essence better. While I loved seeing Perth and Chimon's chemistry blossom on screen, the plot sometimes felt rushed. There were several highlights from the last episode! Guy's quick recovery was questionable, but his arguments with Nava, which gradually turned into romance, were enjoyable. More enemies-to-lovers relationships like this, please! However, Name and Saifah's dangerous connection intrigued me the most I think their story will fit "Dangerous Romance" title. Their dedication was beautifully portrayed during the emotional jail visit. However, the abandoned mafia plot overshadowed their exciting story.
Kanghan's graduation speech was a bold moment, which might not have been possible in certain societies. The emotional scene of Kang and Sailom under the rain portrayed their deep feelings in a subtle manner, and I found it quite moving. I also appreciated the normalized depiction of a lesbian relationship in the story. Lastly, the playful roleplay scene that appeared after the credits showed the lively chemistry between the characters.
Overall, Dangerous Romance was a great series that showcased the impressive talent of its cast. While the pacing and scripts could use a bit more polishing, Perth and Chimon proved to be a captivating duo. I personally hope that GMMTV will consider pairing them up again for a new project that fully showcases their potential!

pls dont end yet
honestly i wasn't super anticipating this show but with every episode it kept rising up my list and ultimately i think its one of my top 3 bls from this year, maybe even overall.chimon and perth's acting is incredible, i dont really know ab them in any other shows except never let me go, so i became very immersed in them as characters (rather than them as themselves, i feel like a lot of bl fans tend to entangle actors and their roles which is kind of annoying and causes ppl to be less likely to notice when someone is a bad actor lol). also i love guy and nawi's relationship, at first it felt like they mught force it out of nowhere but it actually developed really nicely and i cant wait for ep 12!
kangs character development was actually natural and healthy unlike SOME shows where a character is an asshole and they just stay an asshole with no repercussions ?. sailom as a character is just so perfect you cant hate him, hes cunning and knows whats right, hes kind and understanding, hes a package deal.
the overall colours and directing is really nice too, kinda hard to believe ine of the directors has worked on both a show like sotus ? and a masterpiece like this
anyways, fridays have been my most anticipated day of the week bcs of this show (i originally thought it would be saturdays but whoopsie ?) and i love kangsailom with my whole heart and i wish i could have what they have

Nice
Began this series because it has two of my favs in it, they didn't disappoint in terms of their talent. Perth is amazing and he does his best with what he is given... So let me get the few bad points out of the way. I almost didn't make it past the first episode because that teacher was TOOOOO MUCH TRASH. I am so glad he got what he deserved for not doing his job and only licking bumcy. The story isn't new but it is always nice to see, my main problem is that Kanghan seemed to lack motivation for his complete change of heart. This may be due to that plot development being a bit rushed, it is there is just didn't seem like enough to warrant a love. It really could be made into pity very easily. Not to mention Sailom annoyed me a lot with his " I don't want my friends to help me, even though they are offering, but I thought I had no one on my side" You's an idiot. Love you still though.
As mentioned before, Perth is an amazing actor in my eyes and he is honestly hot like the tropical weather, so is a win win. His chemistry with Sailom was pretty great and they made a believable enemies to lovers(though lil rushed). They played off each other well and made the interactions seem more organic, which I always appreciate seeing in a couple. The supporting actors also played their parts very well, having amazing chemistry with each other. Marc and Wynn are special mentions for this because they honestly gave me chills when they were on screen. Captivating me with their display of emotions even though they are a side story of disaster and people that truly care about you can see through your bull-ish. And they not even friends, just watch their drunk scene, it was super funny to watch. Like children in the sandbox fighting over the shovel.
The family dynamics on both sides were also well done, though not much back story was given for Sailom, I could still tell all he needed to survive was his brother. Some bonds are just worth it. Kanghan Grandma is a boss, in every sense of the word. She was there trying to make everyone make sense. It was very refreshing to see an adult that made sense every time they had screen time and was always ready to put people where they belong.

Y'all don't know her (this show) like I do
Listen I don't know what happened here. Maybe I watched a different show. Maybe I hallucinated a much better show than y'all watched. I LOVED this show so much like I was hooked. I had to force myself not to binge watch it. I loved the intense story, and the chemistry between the couple was top notch. Some people here called it a bromance, are y'all good? Like mentally? 'waaah the kissing looked off' almost like they're playing awkward teenagers grappling with their complex emotions or something and as their relationship develops so do the kisses. You know like a real relationship. This show gets overhated and I think it deserves a fair chance. Don't listen to the the haters or the rating they left, go in with an open mind and give it a fair chance anyway. Maybe you won't like what you see or maybe you'll find your next binge watch.TL;DR Dangerous Romance is fantastic you are all just mean.

ENEMY TO LOVER
I have always love Enemy to Lover trope and this series portrays a beautiful concept of enemy to lover concept. CAN WE ALSO TALK ABOUT HOW PERFECT PERTH IS??? LIKE UM HELLO??? I dont know why but he looks absolutely stunning when he is angry. I HAVE ISSUES OKAY IDK THIS IS JUST ME. BUT anyway, I love that the conflict in this series is based on real life issues like social status, lack of parent's attention and bullying. The 1st episode is already really tense and I LOVE IT. I love that Sailom went for a kiss with Kang instead and I LOVE HOW CUNNING SAILOM'S CHARACTER IS. I know that some of the people could not move on from PerthSaint but they moved on and we have to. Anyway, maybe its just me but Perth and Chimon both a good actor, they have such good chemistry with each other BUT, I couldn't feel it. I mean the spark seems to be missing a little bit. Im sorry but I just couldn't feel it between them. Though, I really love the scenes in this series and there are no unnecessary scenes, I still feel like they can give just a little bit more. Can we also talk about MarcWin? THEY ARE SO ADORABLE. OH GOD. I mean the fact that they ask each other's out by arguing, "You be my boyfriend!" / "No, you be my boyfriend!", I FEEL LIKE IT IS SO ADORABLE. THEY BEEN FIGHTING ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT deep down, they care for each other and I LOVE THE PAIRING FOR THIS. <3

IT WAS A SAFE ROMANCE
I like the fact that the series started with a very good hook; it gave you a very clear overview of what's going to happen and to whom. The first 3 - 4 episodes were great, very captivating, funny and pronounced, sadly all of which started to deteriorate after that, the story became predictable and incredibly dramatic.Kanghan made sense in all of his actions and intentions...up to the series' first half (or perhaps just a bit more than that), and then he became nonsensical. Also, i wished the series didn't force so much drama into itself, yet, it did. I was choking with unworldly conflicts and unworthy infighting. In short, they didn't exact a good plot after the first few episodes.
The thing that might be the saving grace for this series was the ost and the acting. About the actors, we had familiar and good faces to counted on, they surely delivered, only that Chimon's acting in couple scenes did not persuade me. The character of his relationship with Kanghan was playful, supportive and unconditionally loving, he showed me some of that but not the loving part, i didn't feel like he love Kanghan, more like a special friend...and that did not give me butterflies. Perth however, actually played all out, we felt love oozing out of him for Sailom, we felt his fear, his anger, his joy and that's powerful. For a BL series, we need all that to make it work, to make it persuasive and empatheticable. All the side couples weren't give enough ground to play their parts, yet they did their jobs and deserve praises for that. I would like to say that Euro played his role beautifully, he was actually so natural and convincing. I love his acting.
To conclude, this series did not pass as a great series, but it's a good series, at least give it a whirl to experience the plot and the love.

I really liked this show
I actually liked Dangerous Romance because of their chemistry. Some people may just say they have no chemistry because of the way they kiss but kissing is not all about chemistry with one another. I’m sorry that PerthChimon don’t suck each other’s tongues out in the series, if you want something like that then watch American shows. Some people started hating on Chimon and saying that his acting is bad but in non-bl series his acting is really good. I actually really liked this series but I think they do need a better storyline and a better crew and I think the show would have done way better than it did if they had that. I hope PerthChimon get more projects with better storyline, choreography, and crew. Hopefully in Gmmtv Part 2 they get a good series.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Why 7 and why not more
So let me get straight to the points why it was worth 7.1. There was sincere chemistry between the MLs.
2. There was minimal NC scenes and sometimes we need such BLs about young lovers and school life.
3. I liked the character of Kang and his dad as well.
4. The concept was clear from the beginning. There were no unnecessary sub plots and it was a good casual watch for dinner time.
5. Had good scenic visuals and symbolisms.
Okay now the points why I couldn't give more than a 7
1. The other couples and pairings were absolutely unnecessary and much incomplete without any real chemistry.
2. Some parts seemed a drag and I skipped some scenes especially in the middle section of the drama.
3. There wasn't anything dangerous about this romance as compared to the dangers in other bl dramas. Probably the Thai name makes more sense but the English title lacked its vitality throughout.
In and all, it was a good watch for people who want to focus on the main couple and need a relaxation bl drama after Only Friends trauma.

Better than reviews led me to believe.
Apparently, if you watch the trailer then you will be disappointed because it hints at a more serious storyline than what the series actually ended up being. I, personally did not watch the trailer therefore I had zero expectations going into the series which I would personally recommend is the way to go. Because from a lot of the reviews, it makes it sound like this series was horrible which it certainly wasn't. I found it to be an interesting and engaging watch overall, if not a little juvenile in places (but that's to be expected in a high school setting.)I think initially, they were aiming for a similar vibe to Never Let Me Go with the danger element and such since Perth and Chimon's role in that series was very popular. But when you put the setting in a high school with really only a debt collector as the main threat, that's not exactly a thrilling plot. I found more "danger" in regards to Kang's heart where Sailom was concerned. Their relationship was worth sticking around for while the side couples were a bit hit and miss sometimes.
At the start of the series, I was already close to dropping it because of the juvenile bullying. But the way Sailom stood up and fought back in his own way without involving others was very refreshing. He knew he was superior and wouldn't allow Kang to treat him lower than he deserved. This made for some great bickering and build-up of tension between them that had the victim on the offensive more often than not.
The side couple of Guy and Nawa was entertaining as well though when the main couple is already an enemies to lovers trope, it kind of becomes redundant in the secondary couple. They played it well enough, but it was just lost in the background most of the time. Which is a shame because they had a decent storyline going as well.
I really wish there was more between Saifah and Name, especially since it was more like a reunion of friends. There were hints of a potential romance but nothing concrete the whole series which left me guessing right up until the last scene they have together in the jail. But by then, it's like "I need more!!" and we just don't get it. Not only with their storyline but with the actors Papang and Pepper... these two seriously need a series together where they are the leads because they totally have the chops for it. I hate that they are typecast as the older siblings or school mentors because they are closer to 30yrs old instead of all the actors in their late teens/early 20s. I would love to see a more mature series with these two. (Doesn't have to be mature as in NSFW but just a story that is about adults "adulting" and not about kids being immature.)
Speaking of NSFW, I kind of wish they just left that part out of this series, and that's coming from someone who lives for the smut. While Perth and Chimon had good chemistry with the bickering and even with the flirting, their actual physical chemistry wasn't great. It looked almost uncomfortable. I would rather it be implied than shown at just 40% effectiveness.
With all that said, I did find it to be a good watch overall and I would recommend it. There were quite a few funny moments that had me cackling and there were some heartfelt moments that pulled at the feels.
And, yeah, someone give Papang and Pepper their own series.

Did not disapoint.
Everything about this series was so good!I just rewatched it, and I can't wait to watch it again!
I loved MarcPavin. Their story was super good! And the main couple was amazing! After Never Let Me Go, PerthChimon was one of the best ships in GMMTV, and after this series, it has appeared into my top 5!
All the characters were wholesome and lovely. Yes, it did lack a little bit of the 'Dangerous' in it, but that's just a title flaw.......
Yeah, I'm not decreasing it to less than 10. The series was too good for that!
Either way, I completely suggest anyone who is a true GMMTV fan to watch it! The series rocked and it will have you on the edge of your seat!!

BEING YOUNG COULD BE BOTH EXCITING AND DANGEROUS
STORY :First of all I quite did not find the reason why the title of this show is Dangerous Romance, is it because Kanghan Loving Sailom is dangerous for him coz Sailom's brother is involved with thugs ? or is it only dangerous when everyone thought it was Sailom's brother tried to kill Kanghan's Father ? I don't know, but I liked the story though, for me it was quite good ! For me it was just like a life of a teenager on their times of curiosity and exploring that could be Dangerous and Exciting. I prefer this kind of show where something is really happening rather than wasting the airing time with unnecessary scenes that makes the story hard to understand. There were only parts where for me this should be the right script or scene, or he should've be like this, and like that and so so, like when Kang seems has despised Sailom after knowing that his brother tried to kill his father and when Kang Saved Sailom from the thugs that when Sailom was taking a bath and Kang back hugged him, he did not pushed Kang away , like for me in some ways I think it would be better if Sailom ranted first and show his hate to Kangs actions of his despising coz that his brother was involved to the incident of his Father to give justification to Sailom's feelings, specially when Kang did not even stopped Sailom of quitting the school and even he himself of all people like of all people who knew Sailom's situation removed his badge ! I hated Kang on that part ! , but I thought maybe Sailom knowing no one left by his side on those times, he disregarded his feelings and accepted Kang right away. And also there are scenes that left me kept asking what happened to this, why is that? how will this be and that ? and so so , well those were just a minor scenes, and can not be easily noticed so I just let it go coz it was not bad anyways, still good job. On the part of Kissing scene, in some ways the awkwardness was noticeable , but it was not bad, like the boys are trying , what am I saying !? HAHAH. On the part of The Thugs masterminds trying to really kill Kang's Father, the action was quite so so like Oh Okay .. HAHAH but it was not bad also, Kanghan was shot, but I was looking where was he shot ? what part ? where the hell was he shot ? and later It was in the arm !HAHAHAAH . My fave scenes was when Sailom went back to escorting to earn more money after Kangham told him to get out of their house, where Sailom was about to be raped maybe ? and Kang suddenly came and save Sailom, Kang was so angry that he threw money to Sailom and told him he will be the one buying Sailom, of his ruining his Dignity just to earn money , Damn ! that scene was perfect ! like I love the script I love the emotions, they were so great on the part, also one of my fave was Guy Sailom's friend and Nawa Kangs Friend's scene, where Nawa had to make Guy angry to let him push harder on playing football, coz Nawa knew that Guy can always do so much more, and when they realized they both were looking at each other all those times, I was so touched , Actually I was always been looking for the scene of these two guys, but they had only few scenes here and I thought it is still enough for the whole story, funny that they were one of those love to hate couples like TayNew or PeteKao but damn ! the chemistry is big deal ! so yeah I am glad that this show was not like those of so many unnecessary scenes, so much worth to watch every seconds of this show, I enjoyed the story that made me realized I've watched 3-4 episodes unconsciously
ACTING :
I must Applaud Perth here, His acting was superb ! well, I've seen him on Love by chance and from there I knew his acting is great ! he has this vibe of a very manly young brave man on his actings. Chimon, I just now appreciate his cuteness , and by the way when I first discover BL , he was the first actor I saw as I first watched Sweet boy way back 2020 before the Pandemic and yeah he is adorable here and gave just right emotions to every scene, he portrayed well his character ! Let me just say that Kangs Dad is so hot HAHAHHA, also Kangs Grandmother was also so kind hearted that she seems like just everyone's dream of a grandmother that surely will never be existing HAHAHHA.
VISUAL EFFECTS/CINEMATOGRAPHY :.
The cinematography is a lot ! I commend GMMTV for a great visual on this show! you can see how much they have improved if you watch those of their old shows, it was not simple and usual, it was excellent nowadays ! I also liked the plot of this show and the progression, the character developments, two thumbs up, the story ended well, not to rushed not too slow just enough, just right, not too perfect but A very Good one
All in all I don't regret watching this show, so worth it I enjoyed it and I was entertained, This one is one of the shows I would recommend to my friends in the future, and If I were to re watch this ? we'll see
