BL SERIES OF THE YEAR
I can simply say, this was worth it! I really can't believe that it's gonna end today. I'll surely miss them and the series and end up repeating my fav scenes (which are uncountable tbh)I was a bl fan back in 20-21 but suddenly i lost the interest in them. I think like a month ago i suddenly wanted to watch some parts of my fav bls. I wanna say i didn't really like DBK. The only thing i loved about the series was the intro. And I didn't actually care that much about TayNew back then (probably bc of the characters ig . They didn't hit me much)
So while i was watching some scenes of SOTUS which has my forever favorite duo, ( I'm just promoting it here go watch it if u haven't yet!) i remembered TayNew and wanted to see what's going on with em and searched them on yt
AND GUESS WHAT THE THAI ADAPTION OF ONE OF MY FAV JAPANESE BLS IS HAPPENING STARRING TAYNEW!!! I instantly watched the trailer and yk what I fell so in love with em. Then i watched the pilot trailer and the 3 OSTs. I really wanted to watch it but it wasn't available in yt ( which is a shame ) So i found it on a telegram channel and started watching Cherry Magic. YK what my mental health is not in a good state since then. I'm literally blushing, screaming, giggling and kicking my feet while watching it and even when i repeat a scene it feels like watching it for the first time.
They have changed the plot a bit I must say this version is way better. The chemistry between Tay and New is insane y'all. I never knew they were this cute together, Both of them literally did justice to their characters. This is very unlikely of GMMTV but they did so well with this series. Every scene is so beautiful. JintaMin and RockPai are also so freaking cute. I'm so hooked up with this series. This really showed the real chemistry between TayNew ngl. I really can't say goodbye to this today. Please give us a season 2 or a special ep or something , anything !!!
update : That was the most beautiful ending ever. I'm crying so bad I'm gonna miss them so much. No doubt, THIS IS MY ABSOULUTE FAVOURITE BL SERIES. No other series has ever made me feel this happy istg.
The proposing scene was so fvcking adorable . I was too into that i literally stood up and danced. It's a shame that i couldn't scream loud {cuz it's literally 3 am rn] And the way Karan cried when his parents accepted them. I was crying with him too. Karan is the greenest flag ever. Tay did a great job. And New is the cutest ever. The way he portrayed those expressions of Achi made him look cuter, I just wanna put him in my pocket. How tf is he 31?? He's literally 3 years old.
The ending was perfect. The way they showed how all of the three couples at the end was so cute {p' Duj and the boss too} AND THE JINTAMIN SCENE WITH JUNIOR'S COVER WAS EVERYTHING. Bro there's literally nothing that disappointed me on Cherry Magic. The only thing i want rn is another season!! and ik we all need a junior x mark series. please let that happen too. I wanna gatekeep this as much as i want to tell everyone to watch it. Thank u GMMTV and P'X for this wonderful series. I'm gonna be a polca forever !!!

Worth to watch?
Totally yes, this adaption really hits different. The story is more relate-able to life, i love their chemistry on this series, and also the cinematography are so beautiful, soft and light to watch.But for the storyline sometimes become slow and fast? At the same time, referring to the manga. There is some scene that don't really needed.
Side couple r cure too, i love SingJan as RockPai, they're really made the series more sweet at work. JintaMin and Madam Noi ofc the dramatic one, Jinta(Tsuge) character it's little bit different, but no worries.
Yeahhh so far soo good.
8-11 already, tmr it's the final ep and i can't wait for that. I wish te marriage become true, it will be a good ending FOR REAL.
(+) Anw as a manga reader, there is too much improve from the original story, i feel like this version is good but there is something missing, like a LOT. Is it too hard to make the series a lil bit close to the manga? Some part is really waste time, we can get something better if they don't make it longer and nonsense (ep 7&10 is good, but sorry...) And yeah gmmtv series ending always become rush.
BUT I LOVEEE THIS SERIES SO MUCHHH I LOVE TAYNEW, i wish after this we can see them in another BL series, with a good story and character. This series got 1M on trends, why not??
(+) I'm here after watching the final EP, as i said before the ending of gmmtv's story always came too fast, there is so many scene that need to be fullfiled. If they don't waste many screen time maybe they could make the ending better, i really want to see KaranAchi struggling before the marriage, it will be good if i could see it. BECAUSE THAT WAS MORE IMPORTANT, you know???
But yeah it's okay, still worth, still good, their chemistry are so good, they can bring the butterfly effect on viewers. I'M SO MELTING ON EVERY SCENE OF KARANACHI. Y'all should see the details of every scene, there is much of soft touchy, taynew ate this, so natural.
FINALLY HERE I'M SO SAAAAD, WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT WEEK??? WITHOUT CHERRY MAGIC TH???????

Pick up the manga instead. Please. It's NOT worth it.
This show only works if you already like the actors in it or if you like stories with absolutely no conflict (also known as Bad Writing). The writers did not understand not even 1/10th of the characters, the copied plots from the JDrama were badly done, and they fundamentally misunderstood what makes Cherry Magic appealing in the first place.The lack of conflict between Karan/Achi was lame and when EP8 came around it made Achi look extra like an asshole; Writers you know you can make the protagonist get angry at their love interest when they risk their safety, right? It's so obvious this show was inspired by the original drama's success and how everyone considers that a comfort show but what, whoever is responsible for this mess, doesn't understand that Cherry Magic puts good writing first not trying to fulfill the "green flag male lead, comfort story" quota like this show did. And if you flip through any of the manga volumes you'd see how weak this show's writing is compared to it. Especially with Achi being the most mischaracterized of the lot even though he's the protagonist makes this weakness stand out. Of course it doesn't have to be an exact copy, nobody is asking for that, but the show felt so different that it's not even the same characters anymore.
Jdrama wasn't flawless either but at least they had the excuse that they didn't have enough material to adapt. At the time this show started filming there were 11 volumes out that the writers could take the story from but funnily enough the show uses solely the events the original drama did.
EP8 was the most disgusting thing this show pulled, that the original story would never endorse. Having Karan go back to the woman who sexually harassed him erases the entire reason (the original Kurosawa at least) he falls for Achi. Achi not getting upset and simply moving on, not even trying to defend him against Kem was completely out of character. They don't even have Achi fight for Karan's parents approval like he did in the OG nor do they keep their Very important fight about how Karaan needs to NOT shoulder EVERYTHING by himself. Cherry Magic ALWAYS calls out and scolds Kurosawa when he gets self sacrificial for the sake of Adachi but CMTH feels like it's... commending him for it? Which is such a wrong gross interpretation of the story on so many levels.
I do get the appeal of CMTH as a non-CM fan (I've noticed CMTH fans are less likely to pick up the manga as opposed to fans of the anime or the jdrama) but the idea that this is the most polished version of the story is SO far from the truth. If the writers wanted to write a story about two guys who have The Healthiest Relationship ever (but is it really the healthiest ever when Karan does ALL the heavy lifting?) they should have written an original script and not completely misuse the Cherry Magic IP.
At this point I can't even feel bad for the copyright fiasco, it's karma for messing with a perfect story and writing the driest and least interesting (and WRONG. so WRONG) interpretation of it.

oh how i love karan achi, they are the best boyfriends i swear i never knew i could love some characters this much. taynew really did insanely great with acting, they were doubted when cmth was announced but oh well.. look at all the ppl that are complimenting them. this series really gave me all the happiness that i haven't felt in the previous year, i was smiling ear to ear throughout all the eps. i also learned a lot about a true relationship, it was so beautiful seeing karan achi learn from each other & doing everything even ready to sacrifice their job ah.. i yearn for love like this. i also really like minjinta and rockpai they were adorable. the only disappointment is that its restricted everywhere except thai, even after all these issues(a long wait, copyright, geoblock, premium access) cherry magic th is so highly supported by the fans. trending worldwide and reaching more than 1M posts is so insane love that for polcas. i genuinely wanna thank p'x and all the cast and crew to bring this magical series to us. lots of love to taynew <3 AND karanachi ♡Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Um romance lindo e aconchegante
Esse bl é lindo, fofo, descontraído e aconchegante!Adorei acompanhar ele, achei que ficou uma ótima adaptação do mangá.
O bl é super leve e confortável de se assistir. Retrata um relacionamento entre dois homens adultos que é completamente saudável e doce, onde os dois se amam do seu jeito, respeitam e confiam um no outro. Foi lindo acompanhar o amor deles se aflorando a cada episódio.
Adorei os casais secundários também, os dois foram muito lindos e divertidos.
A atuação de todos estava perfeita, não achei que tenha ficado nada a desejar.
A cinematografia também ficou muito linda e leve.
Recomendo mt, é uma história muito divertida e com romances muito bonitos de se assistir.

Para las personas que piensan que una serie no puede ser divertida y tierna y demasiado romántica a la vez, esta es la serie que lo hace posible. Combina lo inocente con lo atractivo y todo lo ello implica. La adaptación es demasiado buena y super bella. La recomiendo completamente. Es bastante agradable de ver y te diviertes mucho haciéndolo sin poder dejar de enamorarte de los personajes principales. La ternura de uno y la ferocidad con la que el otro protege. not that heavy, but fun to watch. taynew did so well for the role karanachi. The side character also did well, junior fits so well with jinta. Jan as pai the karanachi shipper (whos tn shipper irl haha). I really love the thai version. But if you want me to compare this to the japanese version, i wouldn't know which one should i choose. I really love both. But the thai version has plus point for the soundtrack (which is REALLY great, easy-listening). The story is also great, thanks to p'x🙇🏻♀️. An Intriguing Adaptation with a Stellar Casting
I pondered endlessly on how to best handle this review. Should I make a detailed comparison between the Thai and the Japanese versions? Should I compare the acting calibers of the main pairings in both versions? And ultimately, which version was better?Seemingly confused and baffled by these questions, I realized that the best option was to review this show as a separate entity. Adapted from the manga series “Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!” (30歳まで童貞だと魔法使いになれるらしい) by Toyota Yuu (豊田悠), the Thai version is a rustic adaptation of the original work (be warned, it isn’t a remade version of the Japanese adaptation). As such, it has a flavor of it’s own and needs to be savored as the main course and not a side dish. When I first saw the official trailer starring Tay Tawan & New Thitipoom, I was slightly apprehensive. Having watched them play the main lead in “Dark Blue Kiss”, I knew they have a phenomenal chemistry. As veteran actors, you can’t condemn their acting skills. My worries were related to the fact that I absolutely loved the Japanese version. Akaso Eiji and Machida Keita left a memorable impression in my mind, and I was unsure if TayNew could recreate the same magic. Let’s address the elephant in the room as we talk about the other pairings as well!

Cherry magic drama are overall good. I am consider acting, The chemistry of Achi and Karan characters is a good mix up. The first parts felt a bit boring, but then it ended very successfully. The story was perfect effect, video quality was outstanding level. Simply cinematography was at the same level. The flow of emotions between Pai and Rock showed well in the story. But Min and Jinta's characters were not enough according to me. My feeling is that Jinta's character acting in some places interfered with the flavor of the story. A must watch if you are interested in a stable build of a Love story
A thai adaptation to the manga CherryMagic 30yrs of virginity.. i love how they've truely adapted thru the manga without much alternation to the actual story. I loved how the story of Karan & Achi started from being hidden crush of each other to finally being in a relationship. I love how Karan has a crush over Achi for so many yrs yet waits paitently for Achi to accept his love. He won't give up on Achi but won't force him either. Achi being shy timid guy can't imagine Karan the smart sexy top employee of the company to have a crush on him ... has finally accepted his love. I know it took them 9 episodes to finally kiss but the wait was worth it. TAYNEW absolutely brought in all of their feelings and emotions ! Brilliant !!!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Esta serie es espectacular.
Desde al comienzo hasta el momento esta serie me ha enamorado, hablando de lo que transmite como serie cómica - romántica es espectacular. El proceso en el personaje principal "Achi" ha avanzado en las decisiones que toma y en cuanto se ha arriesgado más así sea poco a poco, es un progreso grande para Karan.De la actuación y escenografía, no tengo palabras para describirlo de la manera correcta, porque según mi perspectiva es excelente. El equipo de trabajo lo ha hecho excelente. Amo cada vez más la serie mientras van avanzando los capítulos.
