In my opinion the greatest drama ever
Kim hye-yoon represents in this drama in a magnificent way emotions as: love, sadness, depression, joy, guilty, anger. This serie has a perfect balance between so many genres as romance, comedy, thriller, friendship drama, highscool, adult era. If you ate eatching for the first tine the plot is really unpredictable and the story has a great message to give to the audience.The OST is so beautiful I have some of the songs still on repat. And manily i love the chemistry between the main leads it is incredibly 💗

Great Chemistry
i love how lovely runner is a perfect mix of everything. giving us all different types of genres while still having the romcom as the main focus, the plot not being too slow or too fast and the main leads having good amounts of screentime while also showing us both their Povs. It's a perfect combination of romance, comedy, thriller, angst... like everything fits so well. Byeon Woo Seok did his part and of course and Kim Hye-Yoon, she's isn't award winning actress for nothing, SHE DID SO WELL!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Well, definitely it's good.. the cast is amazing.. the story was good if we see overall.. but the only thing i m confused about it.. if sol have power to stop the time by talking about future things , then why did not she try to stop time, when she gets attacked by the villain, and when sunjae got stabbed by villain. she can run away from there so easily or can save sunjae by her power. but the writer actually waste her power..there is something new we got to see.. overall its good .. but if this things writer actually forgets about her power.

SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE AND HEARTFLUTTERING i have been really into it!
A cringeworthy ROMCOM DRAMA FANTASY I'ver ever watch this year, eventho the plot too formulic or not something new about Top Idol Ryu Sunjae who died early, And Im Sol, his fan, ends up doing timeslip to when they were in high school n tries to protect him. About people who against the ill-fate between them.I think if 'yall want something well serve romance-trope, and well-serve romantic narrative yall gonna like it. i told u this is fantasy romcom ofc too cliches. but something i can't deny to keep watch its how the executed very well on the beginning episode to showing us OH THIS IS HOW WE GONNA CONVEY YALL SIMPLY TOO SEATED AND BACK AGAIN FOR HEART FLUTTERING ROMANCE.
I LOVE IT when the writer Lee-Sieun described SECOND MALE LEAD KINDA VIBE ON THE MAIN MALE LEAD! there was surely another second male lead in this drama. BUT they chose to make it the story only for the main male lead and female lead ONLY! ITS LIKE IMSOL AND SUNJAE WAS SOULMATE AND NO ONE CAN break them apart.
I LOVE IT when all of the point of view every character shows really well..
(-) but, its kinda rushed on the half into ending episode things its so unhinged...small details that i kinda really dont like it.. something missed.. they can actually add up some another narration to consistenly build the plot from EPISODE 1... but that small details not really THAT BIG PROBLEM...PROBABLY OKAY..

Highly recommended and this is my first time writing a review!
This drama deserves its high ratings! Trust it because I didn't and proceeded to watch without much expectation but OMG.... So yeah, I almost regret not watching this drama due to the low ratings given by some commenters here labeled with "Most Helpful Reviews" which didn't help at all because that discouraged me from watching it instead. I first watched Twinkling Watermelon before this one and I loved it! I would rate that one 8/10 but nothing prepared me for all the emotions I would feel from Lovely Runner which has a similar storyline. I laughed a lot, cried a lot, and fell in love again and again. The main leads both gave justice to their characters and they have such strong chemistry! Kudos to the cast, writers, and directors of this drama because it's very well executed. I'm a certified K-drama and C-drama fan and for me, this one is hard to surpass. I've seen more dramas after watching this but I find them lacking and bland.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I am SO surprised by the reviews about Lovely Runner on this website. I LOVED the show and I was obsessed a really long time by the storyline and the character. This story shows what unconditionnal love is and that's so nice to watch. I wasn't bored a second in the story and the romance is amazing to watch, the chemistery and the humor is on point : I laughed and I cried, A LOT.The musics are amazing, even people who dislike the show said so, that you can trust, but it litterally broke my heart seing so many bad review, maybe that's juste taste because that show wasn't bad at all for me and is easily on my top 3 of kdrama. Even if I haven't watch a lot of them, I'm not an expert but I had a really really really great time watching this, it made me feel so great and I hope it'll work for you too.
Props to the actor for their amazing delivery of the story and for making my heart so happy while I was watching this.

A masterpiece with every detail..
The leads.. The acting.. The plot... The camera angles.. EVERYTHING JUST TOO GOOD TO BE REAL ã… ã… Generally if a drama has time lapse plot, it has some untied events too but THIS IS NOT (yet btw we'r at 8th ep).. I'm so in love with the plot/scenario AND OFC SUNJAE ã… ã…œ. And the supporting cast is awesome too everyone suits their role so well. You must watch it!! Lets hope that dude will stay alive this time,, it is not a want it's a NEED.note: the character limit is weird dude thats it for me pls let me go wtdym i have to write 500 characters ahabxhqhjxıq

Finally found my "the one" in dramas
To explain the title, my favorite dramas, besides this now, are probably SWDBS and AOS. But with SWDBS I purely liked the romance and nothing else (the serial kidnapper side plot is ok when watching just once). And with AOS the plot, the visual effects, the characters, everything was topnotch and it really is my favorite drama, but for me the romance was a little lacking (which is alright since it's more of a fantasy than a romance drama). But Lovely Runner managed to weave everything together and create an amazing masterpiece.There's the right amount of everything: action, mystery, angst, comedy, romance, and of course Sunjae's loserism. For me with most kdramas, after episode 13/14 we kind of hit a slump and everything becomes predictable and boring, but I didn't feel that with Lovely Runner. Yes, I could easily guess what would probably happen, but it's the way they present the story. Most ppl are here for the ride than the destination, and if that's you then you'll most likely love this drama.
A 10/10 from me, and if you like romcoms, time travel, mystery side plot, and a lovely romance then this drama's for you.

A Solid Drama
This drama is one of those k-dramas that is really great overall but is perhaps missing that something really, really special that makes it resonate below the surface and takes it from a great k-drama to an outstanding drama. Don’t get me wrong. This is a special drama in that it got a lot of things right. It’s more solid in execution than a lot of the k-dramas of late. You absolutely won’t regret watching it. The first couple of episodes were strong and I think it has the type of ending execution we’ve all been yelling for years that we really want (even though the non-romantic plot side was anti-climatic and wrapped up somewhat too easily for the amount of tension that was built). The middle and the very last episode were less polished but again, great overall.For me personally, there are great dramas that don’t connect to me that deeply simply because I can see the actors playing the characters rather than just being immersed in the characters. This is not to say the acting isn’t solid. It is. However, this reminds me of when you go to see a play and although you can appreciate and are impressed by the seasoned acting, you can very much tell the actors are acting in a play. In order for me to connect to a drama on a deeper level, I need to not see the actor but only see the character. For this reason I can only say this drama is a solid drama that was executed well and deserves praise but I cannot say it is a drama that gripped me or will stay with me in any way. I admired the love and strength of the characters and what they went through but it was like watching actors in a drama and that’s it. Other less polished dramas have that really, really special something that gets you below the surface; that has so much heart you know you are experiencing something unlike others when you watch. For me, this is not such a drama (although great overall).
If I could, I would rate this an 8.7 as I think it’s higher than an 8.5.

Over the moon
I was over the moon watching the drama and I'm glad that Byeon Woo-seok finally his main lead. I'm so proud of him 🥰The chemistry between main leads so sweet and the rest of the cast were awesome too.
I waited until finish the last episode to watch it the whole straight away. The waiting totally worth it 💜

I can see that he grew up in his acting skills.
So I'm looking forward to see him again in a main lead in a drama soon.
Btw, I was highly surprised by his singing skills, now I can't stop listening the songs of the drama.

I loved the story, and it had great lead actors and supporting actors.
IT’S MY FIRST TIME WRITING A REVIEWI started watching this drama the day its first episode was released. I have been a big fan of Kim Hye Yoon aka Im Sol since her first drama as the lead in Extraordinary You. So I gave this drama a shot and it didn't let me down at all. She is a great actor, and her chemistry with Byeon Woo Seok aka Ryu Seon Jae was amazing out of the world. Byeon Woo Seok is also a great actor. I first noticed him in the movie 20th Century Girl, and I also saw his other works like Strong Girl Nam-soon and Soulmate. Both his acting and his handsome face left a deep impression on me.
Byeon Woo Seok as Ryu Seon Jae and Kim Hye Yoon as Im Sol was a great decision. They both look so great together that I can’t explain it in words and they did their part so well. Our Ryu Seon Jae being a loser in love with our lovely Im Sol was so damn cute and funny. Im Sol’s awkward laugh in episode 2 reminded me of Eun Dan-oh's character in Extraordinary You but man Byeon Woo Seok loves to play the character who dies or has a sad ending in dramas and movies.
The time traveling makes this romance drama more interesting even though many nowadays youth or romance dramas do have the concept of time traveling very often still this drama feels so fresh and makes me feel nostalgic. This drama has the charm to make you emotionally invested.
The kiss scenes were so good I was blushing the whole time in episode 8 and their all kiss scenes in the drama were good. They both together make me giddy in the cherry blossom scene even behind the scenes were making me giddy.
The poor Ryu Seon Jae died three times and I felt so sad for him and Im Sol. Ryu Seon Jae's POV of episode 2 was so beautiful.
The fictional band/group Eclipse was so handsome and so cool and the OSTs of this drama were so great like Sonaki (Sudden Shower), Spring Snow and Run Run etc. Ryu Seon Jae as an idol and a swimmer too good.
Song Geon Hee as Kim Tae Sung was good, he was a good second male lead but a great friend of Im Sol and I felt a little bit of second male lead syndrome for him. Lee Seung Hyub as Baek In Hyuk Ryu Seon Jae's best friend, Song Ji Ho as Im Geum Im Sol's brother and Seo Hye Won as Lee Hyun Joo Im Sol's best friend were funny and fun to watch.
This drama contains very funny scenes like Ryu Seon Jae mistaking Im Sol's nephew as her son, the whole of episode 11 was hilarious it was full of funny moments and the next episode 12 was funny too when Im Sol got to know about her brother and her best friend dating and cute Seon Jae fanning her face to calm her down.
The ending feels so surreal. At least Byeon Woo Seok's one character gets a happy ending. I am so happy for him.
I still can’t believe this drama ended yesterday now my Mondays and Tuesdays will feel so boring.

Even after years have passed, memories of waiting ever since the official announcement, watching it in real-time, and seeing soljae's story unfold as they fight against their ill-fated destiny over and over again until they get the happy ending they deserve. I will be forever grateful to the cast and crew the whole team behind this masterpiece. They genuinely made me happy for the past 2 months.
