A refreshing drama with hint of comedy
Honestly this drama is so good. At first I did not have much expectation as I just finished watching twinkling watermelon and other time travel dramas but this one was just so good.The story is about the girl Im Sol who lost her leg in an unfortunate accident. She resented the person who saved her and thought she was better off dead but turns out that her idol who gave her the motivation to live Ryu Sun Jae is the one who saved her. When Ryu Sun Jae commits suicide Im Sol is devastated and just wants to save Sun Jae and somehow she ends up coming back to year 2008 where Ryu Sun Jae is her neighbour!! She is determined to change their fate but that is not all turns out that from high school Sun Jae has always liked Sol!!
The way they added a sense of humor in it (especially that c*ndom scene) was hilarious.
The story is good too I didn't ven realise that I finished watching 12 episodes in 2 days!!
As for cast...this drama is just eye candy because all the cast are so pretty. Byeon woo seok just stole the whole show with his visuals and his acting? Excuse me but it was so good the female lead too I watched her other drama too like extraordinary you and I have to say she did not disappoint!! All in all this is a must watch drama!!

Excellent show
Lovely Runner" is a very good and excellent drama; the best thing about it is the acting. It's full of emotions. From the beginning till now, every scene is beautiful. We're at the 11th episode, but there hasn't been a single scene that's boring or feels like a side character is dragging the story. Kinda long but was worth it..
Honestly I felt the the drama was too long. The frequent timeline changes and the story going in circles at a point, kinda made it boring for me. The ending of the villain felt boring, could have made it a bit better but I guess it was along the lines of a life for a life. The initial episodes were pretty good, the story was enticing, but like with most kdramas, the middle become monotonous. The series could have been wrapped up perfectly in 12 episodes. But the last episode, enduring till the last episode, made everything worth it. It was lovey dovey for sure but it showed what kind of life they both could have lived if it wasn't for the villain. The cute moments stole my heart.On the characters, I have to say that Taesung was the one who won my heart. I loved his character, it provided the comic relief as well as the seriousness. While Sunjae and Sol were loved by everyone, Taeseung and Bae Inhyuk captured my attention more. Overall, all the actors did an amazing job. Would I rewatch it? No. But if you are thinking about watching it, give it a chance, it's a good story with frustrating, happy and sad moments. But all in all, it was worth it.

LOSER SUNJAE IS THE BEST SUNJAE
QUE DECIR DEL KDRAMA QUE SE ACABA DE CONVERTIR DE MIS FAVORITOS Y QUE ENTRA EN MI TOP3. Una fantasía , lo comencé a los dos episodios, sin muchas esperanzas y pensando que probablemente lo dejaría y ha terminado siendo de mis favoritos. Todas las semanas esperando las preview, los teasers y viendo por twitter todas las teorias , elucubrando que podría pasar.Al principio pensaba que era un amor de un fan demasiado entregada (en ciertos puntos saesang, ver yo no estaría en un grupo donde pasan videos de como reaniman a mi idol favorito) pero el final del capítulo 2 , cambio la historia del kdrama , esa escena donde descubres que Sunjae se enamoró primero, ha cambiado vidas os lo digo yo. Ir semana tras semana viendo como Sunjae va profudizando su amor y Sol comienza a enamorarse de Sunjae a la vez que trata de salvarlo en todas las lineas temporales es algo profundamente bonito. Me encantan como todan todos los cliches de romance y los abordan bien , es que simplemente CINE. Un buen romcom donde me he reido y no me han parecido escenas casposas. RYU SUN JAE va a ser el personaje que se nos va a quedar marcado a todas las doramaniacas. Kim Tae Sung el mejor second leal ever.
Menudo elenco de actores espero y deseo que a todos los comiencen el despunte y consigan muchos papeles en el futuro porque se lo merecen tras la magnifica actuación en este kdrama. Los lunes y los martes no serán los mismos sin el episodio de Lovely Runner. Lovely Runner vas a envejecer bien lo presiento.

A truly well executed time travel kdrama, way way above Twinkling Watermelon.
This is the best kdrama I've seen since a very long time. (probably since It's Okay to Not Be Okay)The only serious problem I have with it is the villain's lack of personality/backstory and how they just dealt with him under 3 minutes in the finale. I could nitpick If I really wanted to, but I fail to see the point.
I always say that explaining the inner workings of time travel always ruins immersion in time travel shows, luckily in this one they have not even tried. (it's better to keep the unexplainable unexplained)
Everything else is pretty good, the cast is great, the chemistries are great. The romance is up there with the best, there are countless very fluffy and or very touching moments. Love triangle haters are safe to enjoy this as well, because the secondary love interest is weak like a straw. The ending is a banger too.
Anyway 9/10 seems fair to me. It's not perfect or anything, for example Someday or One Day is better in this genre, but I'm very happy that Korea can still deliver something of this caliber, since it's been so long..

cute show the manages to stick the landing
Lovely Runner was such a joy to watch, especially in the era of kdramas getting dark and gritty or just plain silly/cheesy. I had such a fun time and was so happy that this drama managed to stick the landing (something that seems to be rare these days). I was excited every week to watch the new episodes and honestly, while it did hit a little bit of a lull for me in the middle, it was still really good.I will say that my only beef is that I wanted Sun Jae to still be part of Eclipse :(
Anyway, what a cute show.

Chemistry makes up for [almost] every flaw
A lot of things were left unexplained by the end of this drama. By the last few episodes all the inconsistencies in the writing became pretty glaringly obvious and it felt… lazy. The ending was overall a bit of a let-down - I was hoping for some sort of extremely clever twist but it ended up feeling like a cheap cop out.THAT BEING SAID - this drama features hands down the best chemistry of any leading couple I’ve ever seen. Each episode had me pausing to take a break countless times throughout because the butterflies were just too much. The romantic moments were filmed and paced wonderfully which gave the leads’ chemistry the opportunity to truly shine. This absolutely incredible and undeniable chemistry is what makes up for nearly every flaw in this drama and it is what will have it go down in history as a cult favourite.
Byeon Woo-Seok’s acting was top notch for me. It was never too much or too little - it was always perfectly believable. I’m not one to crack up at dramas but comedic scenes had me laughing out loud in the middle of the night. Nobody else could do this character justice the way he did… the dorkiness, the emotion, and absolutely beautiful singing voice. I really look forward to him taking on bigger roles in the future.

A perfect drama to rewatch every once in a while because it gives you the FEELS ?
One thing about me is that I will always give a time travel series a go and this didn't disappoint. Maybe it's the high school sweethearts, nostalgia, the going back and forth in time, the aesthetics.... Idk .. but this worked so well. Im sol and sun jae invented soulmateness.We're there plot holes and some things were brushed over or never explained, were there scenes that pissed me off and could have been done better to make the drama a 10/10...... YES but it's over now and I can't bring myself to get into it all and complain because I have a silly little smile on my face. I loved watching the story unfold and seeing how the main character would find their way back to each other.
One thing I LOVED and I don't think it gets enough appreciation is the relationship between sun jae and his dad. If I remember correctly sun jaes mother was only mentioned briefly once by sun jaes dad in passing and never again which shows how deeply sun jars father cares for sun jae. He never made sun jae feel the absence of his mother and filled the role of a parent so well and we hardly get a role of a single father like this. it made me teary up so much watching him cry over sun jae.

(Okay I need to get it off my chest sue me ....
Things I probs missed or needed more explanation..
1) I swear there was more to the grandma ... The scene in the last ep ... The "missed him" comment, this could have been explored and would have bought more dept to the drama.
2) there was a scene idk between ep 12 to ep 14 where sol is in the country side and the killer found out she was there and went there ..., the scene of sol calling her mam and the killer being in the mam's shop, it was dark outside and when the killer left he was walking the way the scene transitioned made it seem like he was time traveling too. If this was also explored it would have made it even more entertaining.
3) the ending of the killer just dying and sun jae fainting on the road . ???? Whyyyyyyyy it was so anti climactic I was like..??? That's it???? Lmaoo come one the build up and that was all we got.
4) I needed more time with taesung. The way he was acting and him being friends with sol all these years I which how in the final timeline, how that worked out.

Being honest the story line wasn't great 1 kept get confused ting and bored. But let me tell y’all something. THOSE KISS SCRNES 1000000/10. EVERYTIME I FELT LIKE I WAS INTERUPTING. AND EHOOOOOOOOOO THE MAN THAT U ARE BYEON WOO-SEOK!!!!!!!!! GORGEOUSSSSSSSSS. EXQUISITE.but the acc plot was meh. but the characters were quite funny but overall it’s a good watch if u wanna pass time but high expectations are not guaranteed to be met. Um pouco do mesmo
Na pegada do * o tempo traz você pra mim * , temos a volta no tempo e o efeito borboleta, e claro,o que não pode faltar é um doido no meio disso tudo.Claro que vc lembra do drama que citei acima.
Mas , achei que seria um pouco mais leve e mais cômico e está sendo. Porém, qnd ela volta no tempo, (15 anos) , ela não se comporta como uma mulher que tem uma mente madura de mais de 30 anos, como a protagonista de "o tempo traz vc pra mim" , ela adia, enrola, faz um monte de coisa nada a ver , e por fim, ela não consegue cumprir nem o objetivo de ficar em casa no dia que seria seu acidente, por o protagonista a está esperando na chuva, isso pq ela mora na frente da casa dele e viu ele sair . OK, não comecei contando a história, pq a resenha do próprio my drama list já faz isso é aquilo ali, qnd ela vai e volta no tempo, ela tem vários imprint's do que aconteceu enquanto estava "ausente" , como aceitar proposta de namoro do boy encrenca lá, ou de ter conseguido o emprego no futuro e inclusive de saber dirigir, mas , qnd ela volta pro futuro, e a versão do passado reassume, ela não se lembra de absolutamente nada que aconteceu, e isso é uma contradição, o que acaba prejudicando seu relacionamento com o protagonista no passado. Ela realmente não gostava dele no passado e não sabia que ele existia (na primeira linha do tempo) . E qnd ela volta a primeira vez , ela altera isso,da parte dela ..pois ele , gostou dela em todas as linhas do tempo, independente dela saber da existência dele ,ele estava lá! Gostando dela a primeira vista! Enfim, vamos terminar de ver pra concluir!
O comportamento da protagonista ao voltar no tempo, incomoda um pouco, principalmente depois dela perceber que o tempo dela ali é limitado, porém tbm tem o plot de "parar o tempo,toda vez que tenta revelar algo do futuro diretamente" .. ok nós entendemos isso!? Mas , agora que ela voltou no tempo, tem necessidade desse sono todo? Tem necessidade dela ficar louca com cada coisa que vai acontecer!? Ela acha que é uma chance de salvar a vida dele, mais em 4 episódio,ele salvou a vida dela no mínimo duas vezes , fora os tombos que são a cada 20 minutos! E no fim do sétimo episódio, ela ainda dá maior fora nele após a declaração de amor dele! Ela realmente quer impedir um suicídio?
Ps: acredito que não foi um suicídio desde a primeira linha temporal.
