Rewriting Standards, Simple, Short but Heartfelt
This BL KDrama surprised me in many ways. It's a 15-min long per episode that feels so complete. I couldnt imagine an episode can do so either but yes, it delivers! I love how straightforward it was. Have conflicts just any other drama plot out there and a few cute, lovely scenes that will surely hit you right to the core, felt pain and joy watching this drama. It even have flashbacks! Yes, they squeezed it in and found the right placement each episode. The lead actors are commendable for their portrayals. I need a lot of their couple chemistry badly right now. I love them so much! I never thought I will still find a BL drama I will recommend so much just like ITSAY, 1000 stars, Color Rush or Semantic Error.. but this show proved me wrong a thousand folds. BREATH OF FRESH AIR
I came across "A Breeze of Love" on Tiktok, and considering I've already watched 43 Korean BLs just this year, my options will either be to venture again with Thai BLs or just wait for any Korean BL releases this year or next year.To be honest, the pacing of the drama is "okay-ish" since the main focus is the main leads and their story. But considering how limited the run time is, especially for Korean BLs, they didn't manage to squeeze in any back story aside from the short flashbacks here and there.
1. The cinematography is great; there are some hiccups on some parts (and that's me nitpicking).
2. The plot is open for improvement.
3. The OST songs threw me off on some scenes; there are parts of the scene that really didn't require any emotional music, but I could accept their creative choices.
4. The run time could've easily been extended to ten episodes. This will focus more on understanding what happened after they became a couple.
This drama did not offer anything new (especially on the kinds of KBLs released this year), but you wouldn't hold it against them because, at the end of the day, a good drama will stand without any gimmicks.
Recovering from Bump Up Business, A Breeze of Love did end up meeting my expectations—a simple breath of fresh air.
Not too overcomplicated, just a good Korean BL.

You want to watch a cute romance with not too much angst, trauma, and whatever else happens to a gay couple?
Simply two people learning to accept their love. It's just the right amount of fluff with a good story overlapping between the past and the present. Both actors did an excellent job portraying the emotions and feelings of each of the characters, and their expressions were priceless. I highly recommend watching this on a rainy day when you're feeling down; it'll put a smile back on your face.
Honest Opinion:
The plot is not unpredictable. The same old lack of communication that leads to a massive misunderstanding and carries it all the way to the end. But...the execution was flawless. There is no unnecessary drama, no jealous love rivals, and the pacing is quite good. It's a refreshing and feel-good drama.

I really hope this gets a sequel!
This was a great story that was sweet and easy to watch, very little and very mild angst. I’m glad it was just a sweet love story, exactly what is needed right now. I really hope we get a sequel with the second couple who were introduced as the focus!!! I loved the relationship we got to see between Dohyun and Dongwook, it was cute and lovely. I felt bad for Dohyun’s friend who had feelings for him, he wasn’t a villain like you would see in most BLs when there are multiple possible love interests. I was happy to see that he had a possible relationship waiting in the wings with the stranger we didn’t get to see at the end.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
THIS IS THE BEST BL KDRAMA I HAVE WATCHED SO FAR!
Since I watched Semantic error I couldn't find any good bl kdrama untill someone recommended me about this kdrama and Let me tell you it's soooo worth watching it! The kiss scene, the story and the characters, it was just chef's kiss. Also just have patience too, it might be confusing but you have to watch all the 8 eps to understand the whole thing. It gives you more than a breeze of love
It took me 3 attempts to watch this but I couldn't watch pass the first few 5 mins or 10, bcoz I find it slow and boring lol.. but, i'm glad that I never give up.Once you watch pass the 1st 10 mins or so, it takes off really well. I love every moment of the show after that.
Short series = no drag
It's very heartwarming, sweet and medicine for your soul kind of BL
I just wish the kiss scene is more realistic lol I'm not asking for hardcore, but two lips pressing against each other is so akward to watch, esp if they slo-mo it? like what are you even slo-mo-ing?
This applies to most KBL honestly, although I wouldn't deduct any point just because of this
I can still feel the sweetness and all, so all is good, but it's just really nice to watch some realistic kiss, even if it's for a few seconds lol...
Overall, this is the kind of BL you watch when you're in need of your "feel good BL'" dose!

I'm currently obsessed with this drama great cinematography great acting and handsome actors
I loved the characters so much and the actors acting was so good as someone who has insomnia my self i connected to dongwoo easily however i still don't understand why he left do hyun in high school. Do hyun is the cutest character ever he was so shy and cute around dong wook and u can clearly see that he was deeply in love with him. Their first kiss was adorable and well done. This drama is so cute and relaxing i keep watching it nonstop however there were some things that i didnt understand like the infirmary scene and some of dong wook's actions and the last episode felt so short i wish they showed us more of their dating lifeVond je deze recentie nuttig?

Based off my personal rating criteria specifically made for BLs
1. Characters 9/10- I feel that for short series such as these, it is obligatory for me to acknowledge the lack of time for characterisation
+ However, I feel that this was thoroughly overcome by the amazing job they did in making every frame count. So much characterisation was achieved without dialogue that it felt like I did know the characters at the end
2. Shipability 10/10
+ I typically do not enjoy enemies to lovers but even in their initial fighting stage, the attraction and tension could be felt
+ The on-screen chemistry really felt impeccable. Every time they were together it truly felt like I was looking at 2 people in love
3. Plot 9/10
- I did not particularly enjoy the misunderstanding troupe that occurred during the dinner stage
+ I do feel that they did a fantastic job weaving in the flashbacks in a manner that gave us information when we needed it but always making us curious to know more
+ I also enjoyed how they made the idea of Dohyun being Dongwook's insomnia cure work. I feel that if they had made this a soulmate kind of scenario it would have needed a lot of explaining. The lack of explanation actually helped in moving the story along in a more natural manner.

Cute little story
This is such an amazing show, I absolutely loved it, no unnecessary drama between the main leads by outside factors but their own insecurities that made sense and the chemistry between the leads were so good. The side characters did a very well also. The cinematography, the pacing, acting evrythng was so on point, I guess the budget was good. And I liked that they actually played the sport they were showing very well not like the flashes and camera angles to make it look good ('coughs' thai bl) .Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
My opinion on the BL
I did'nt have much expectations for this BL but woah. Korean BL's really never dissapoint me, especially this one. It was super cute and the actors did a good job. Everything was really good in my opinion and it has probably become my comfort BL. I definetly recommend you to watch it because the story is amazing and wouldn't get you bored, atleast I did'nt get bored. Since I have to write 500 words I'll say one thing I did'nt like. The one thing that I did'nt like is that there were only 8 episodes and I got kind of sad when it ended. It's perfect for people that love binge watching series or don't have that much time. The main thing I liked in this series must be the camera work and the scenes (And of course the story). It was beautiful how they standed in the rain and everything.Apologies if this is a bad review because it's my first time writing a review on this app and I really enjoyed the series so I don't have anything bad to point out.
