someone said that the title "SMILE CODE" doesn't fit the plot of the story. like tho is he/she even watch it and feel it? but yeah for me this drama is funny also comfort for me in short I LOVE THIS DRAMA NO LONG EXPLANATION INDEED! A cup of refreshment each morning
minor spoilers below.This show is just... so good! I was excited for it even before it aired, but honestly, I didn't have high hopes since I usually find modern Chinese dramas a bit dull and hard to engage with. I was really hoping this one would keep my attention, and let me tell you—it absolutely has!
Right now, I’m also watching other dramas like Fangs of Fortune, Love Eastern Game Fantasy, and Story of Pearl Girl. They’re released around the same time each morning, but I always find myself watching Smile Code first.
What I really love about this show is how unique it feels compared to others. The male lead (ML) is emotionless due to a mental condition, so he’s cold and blunt, especially at first with the female lead (FL). In most dramas, the ML is cold without any real reason, but here, his struggle to understand emotions is central to who he is. He can feel things; he just doesn’t know how to express them. This is where the FL, who’s all warmth and sunshine, comes in to "heal" him.
From the very first episode, their chemistry is so strong, and by episode twoo or three, she’s already moved in with him, which I love because it means they’ll get even closer. I’m already picturing their dating phase, getting butterflies just thinking about it!
I highly recommend watching Smile Code—you won’t regret it!

Throughout the episodes that I watched, the storyline was very interesting, each actor had a very unique character, the filming was also very good, and the acting of the cast was no less good, they played their characters very well, so that the audience who sees it can feel their feelings.So, I highly recommend you guys to watch the movie. ???

one of the most awaited dramas for me, because the players are my favorite actors and they are friends in real life, it's very sweet.after watching several episodes I fell more and more in love with Lin Yi, he always learns to take on different roles from previous dramas.
I think this is the sweetest couple I met in a cdrama, Gu Yi looks very good as Liang Dai Wen, and I like this kind of cool role, adding to his good looks many times

Not the typical Idol Drama
This is not the typical idol drama because it showcases complex emotions of people and depicts the reality of life for people with different situations. As a viewer of Shen Yue’s dramas, I can vouch that her acting improved so much. Her lines and emotions are well delivered. There are just a few times that I did not get her punchlines, but maybe it got lost in translation. But overall the comedy scenes will really make you laugh and the sad scenes will sometimes make you cry. The cinematography, shots and color grading are movie like, the OSTs are all great and above all she has amazing chemistry with her real life bestie Lin Yi on this drama.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

In my opinion, this drama is a new drama that is different from the others, starting from the setting, storyline, and very good cast.Because from this drama we can also learn not to treat people the same, learn to understand not to just judge someone badly, sometimes the one who doesn't seem to care is the one who is fighting tooth and nail to put in the effort :')

Shen yue is amazing in this drama
I often get bored with cdramas as I rather watch kdramas but this drama smile code has gotten my attention from episode 1 from the very beginning I love both Shen yue and LinYi’s acting together the storyline the production it is amazing they really deserve a high rating score you can tellThey put they’re 100% into this drama I don’t get why Shen yue doesn’t get much hype because she’s such a great actress she deserves way more constant Dramas she really got way better in her acting you can tell she’s been working hard on her work.
