What a waste of time
There's little to say about this bl: it's ugly! I didn't like anything, from the story to the characters I found everything handled very badly. It's the first Korean bl to which I give such a low rating, but here they really produced a flop series. I feel like I wasted my time on a story that's leaking all over the place, and I'm talking about the one involving the main couple. Their story makes no sense, the two of them are awkward and I didn't like the actors even a little. Maybe I'll save the second couple who had potential but... never mind! The Koreans with this bl, for the first time, got everything wrong and created a cringe series regarding the main couple and an inconclusive one for the second couple.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Flawed in terms of romance but some elements of the story resonated with me...
An enjoyable Korean BL from which I expected maybe too much. I enjoyed the very different dynamics between the two couples as well as the way the series showcased characters flaws and explained why they acted the way they did. However, I wish the secondary romance would have gotten more screentime as it was the most interesting to my eyes. I also found the romance arc of the main couple a bit too expected and forced.The acting was okay overall but once again, I clearly found more believable the chemistry between the secondary couple rather than the main one. They looked cute but it felt a bit lacking somewhat. I enjoyed the variety in the character as well as the female role, a bit more atypical than the usual BL formula but still quite superficial (which is understandable given the short length of the drama).
Regarding the production, I found it pretty good with some nice clothing choices for winter. It was rather low budget but fitting the context of college romance. The soundtrack was good, quite relaxing but not memorable.
I would recommend this to people looking for a BL in a college set up. It is a bit unbalanced in the way it approaches some topics: it feel sometimes deep on some aspects as well as totally unrealistic on some others. Despite its flaws, it is still a nice watch...I just would have loved for it to leave me with a more durable impression.

Surprisingly good!
Our KBL is getting better! Really proud of this one!At beginning, it appears that the storyline is simple and somewhat shallow, but towards the end, boy, it delivers! It ends up to be pretty touching and meaningful. Of course, it's so cute and fluffy throughout.
I also love that there are two couples and I love the ending for both. I wish there's a spin-off for the other couple, just to see their progress!
I really enjoy this lighthearted, simple and sweet BL! It's pretty great given it's only 8 episodes. Not too draggy, but not too rush either. Actors are really good looking toO!

Quite Interesting
I love the main lead Ki sub and Ji woo made it worth watching unlike the 2 couple.But then, what's with the ending? Does it have continuation? Cos it shouldn't end that way.

...Suivant l’histoire de deux couples différents, avec chacun leur propre cheminement, problèmes et rapprochements, ce drama a été rapidement intéressant. En fait, dès le début, on découvre quelque chose d’inattendu, qui attise la curiosité et nous pousse à continuer, voulant savoir ce qui va arriver ! Avec de bons acteurs, des romances mignonnes, même si compliquées, ce drama m’a beaucoup plu. On ne peut que compatir avec les douleurs cachées des personnages, et espérer qu’ils finissent tous par être heureux ensemble. Même si j’avoue que j’ai eu du mal avec l’idée qu’un d’entre eux tente de changer tellement pour être le ‘genre’ idéal de l’autre…

Short and sweet drama
Without giving any spoilers, if you're looking for a drama with both a cute storyline and two cute couples, this one is it. It's nothing super dramatic or suspenseful but I think it's quite well produced. I also really liked the two pairings and their dynamics.Considering the short length with 8 episodes at 30 minutes each, I still had enough time to get invested in the two couples, although the plot doesn't go too much into depth. In this case, I think that's a good thing because it doesn't start any major plot lines without finishing them which often frustrates me with other dramas. The ending ties mostly everything together nicely, though I could see some opportunities for a second season or a spin-off.
Overall a good watch and I would totally watch it again.

assistir ao drama foi como embarcar em duas experiências completamente distintas, e relativamente sensoriais:o casal principal foi como ser convidade a uma festa de pijama. então, de repente, no meio da madrugada, você é obrigade a sair desta festa, sem explicação plausível, e forçade à uma curta peregrinação em busca da filha perdida de um imperador sem nome. no próximo momento, a peregrinação sem sentido termina, também sem explicações, e você se encontra de volta debaixo de cobertores quentinhos, em um quarto aconchegante, na melhor festa de pijama do mundo. com direito a primeiro beijo, e tudo mais.
isto é dizer: ji woo e ki sub foram fofos. fiz análises nerds com minha irmã sobre o primeiro beijo deles? sem dúvidas. mas o que começou interessante, quase foi difícil de sustentar por falta de sustância na narrativa dos próprios personagens, e na trama do enamoramento. a simplicidade da resolução de conflitos beirou ao tedioso, e se não fosse pela química dos atores, poderia ter sido dolorosamente chato assistir aos últimos dois eps da série.
a dinâmica do segundo casal foi como a de encontrar o amor da sua vida enquanto você está com fome. e depois passar por um término terrível, ainda com o estômago vazio. pior: mais tarde, você escuta de terceiros, toda essa sua história de amor faminto ser reduzida à um mero crush.
ou seja, foi muito borocoxô a forma como do balgeum e in ho terminou. a insistência no tom meritocrático dessa narrativa do balgeum jogou pro ralo todo potencial romântico do casal. haviam tantas outras formas mais dignas de lidar com o tema. eles nem precisavam terminar juntos. um "vc é já suficiente" vindo do in ho teria sido bom o bastante para salvar a relação. isso me soou como escrita preguiçosa ou negligência total com o casal secundário.
resumidamente: tinha tanto potencial na história de ambos os casais...! e tudo foi tão descaradamente pouco explorado, que chega me dá tristeza ---- mas não o bastante. infelizmente, por esse motivo, o drama não impressionou tem cativou o bastante para uma lamentação apropriada. é uma pena, mas vou superar. existem bls piores, e com certeza haverão dramas melhores.

One of the top tier short K-BLs
Overall....better than you'd expect.Starting from the first episode, it may seem a little odd or forced, but the characters and their storylines begin to hook you in. As the show continued, I found myself empathizing with the characters - hoping that all would work out for them in each respective scene.
The show has a good balance of comedic, romantic, and emotional moments that don't make you feel bored or annoyed. The pacing was also perfect - especially considering it was only 8 episodes long!
Additionally, compared to other K-bls this one barely left any unanswered questions; all the backstory and character details were wrapped up nicely with a little bow.
If you're watching for the side couple,, unfortunately you'll get cookie crumbs. although there isn't too muchh airtime for them, all their character details and backstory are still prevalent, which is more than enough especially since this is an 8ep series, less 30mins each. Also the character development was poppin.

That hair though
I have no complaints with our writing or casting in this series. The actors did a great job, the settings were nice, the music was fine, but that hair though. What in the world was wardrobe thinking with cp1's hairstyles? They were horrendous. Thankfully cp2 was presented to us in a normal fashion, but seriously, yikes.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Fell short of potential
I liked this drama at first, but by the second episode I found myself skipping the main couple’s scenes, which meant i was skipping through the entire show, essentially. they had a nice first kiss scene, but other than that, they were so boring to me and I found Giseop super strange. the plot about him dressing like a girl and getting a tattoo just to be Jin Woo’s type was just random and very weird and he just gave me weird vibes, i did not like him at all and he actually made me sort of uncomfortable. i felt like their chemistry was forced and Jin Woo’s characterisation wasn’t consistent. i also didn’t like the token female character common in BL dramas, i could’ve done without that.i enjoyed the second couple way, way more, and thought there story was more interesting and their chemistry felt more natural, but unfortunately they had criminally few scenes and very little development when they were shown, and didn’t even end up together, the way i understood it. but i also felt like their story was a bit cliché and the soured relationship could’ve been redeemed if it was handled better, especially when the actors had chemistry and potential.
the main couple ate up 98% of the screen time, which wouldn’t be a problem if the series was all about them, but if a second couple is gonna be included and have a storyline, they need to have equal or at least sufficient screen time. the second couple got so little scenes they may as well have not even been there, which is a shame, but korean BL dramas are so short compared to typical k-dramas, they really don’t have room for a second couple most times. 20-30 minutes per episode doesn’t leave a lot of room for complex development.
Also, on Viki this is rated R for some reason? i struggle to see why, as there’s really nothing explicit or mature in it.

Short review:I really loved this series. In it we follow two couples. The first couple - I found this story refreshing actually because both boys like eachother from the start but have different reasons not to date which is what creates the conflict.
The second couple - I really like where their story ended up, and I like that it covered those feelings of insecurity a lot of us have in our relationships.
All in all I recommend it and would be happy to rewatch.

I know, asking for a season 2 when only two episodes have dropped is asking for a lot but that’s how good the show is ! The production is done really well , the acting and chemistry between the actors is amazing.
