Both dramas focus on "cold" but secretly caring male bosses and sweet secretaries/ helping FL. Both dramas are have an office romance where the FL has a special bond with the boss or something only she possess that keeps the relationship close, or in other words, the boss needs to keep her close because she's of use to him. The ML are really similar character types, straight to the point and truthful, but have a special place in their heart for the FL and do cute secret things for her.

In both dramas the hero likes the heroine first and in both their struggle to win her over is really entertaining to watch. They're also workplace dramas and have a similar feel

Slowly developing relationship in both dramas. Male leads appear cold but have a warmer side in them. Both dramas give off kind of slice-of-life feeling.

they give the same feeling. Though for SWAK, the drama could be heavier than for Boss & me (since Boss and Me have more fluffiness). Well, the main male leads are similar. They are both rich, handsome, and quiet. Both of the main character's relationship stems from something and that's how the guy keeps the female lead close to him.

The storyline is entirely different, however they have similar feel good vibe. Also the FL and ML share lot of meals together in both the dramas..

- They both have the rich guy and the poor girl (well in this season she's not that poor).
- There is some kind of illness.

- chairman's son (boss) and lowly employee
- theme of lunchboxes? though in this case, it's being given to the employee rather than boss

Both are modern romcom c-dramas with a large portion of the drama being set in the office. They both have a boss/worker type romantic relationship.

The female main leads of both dramas have similar professional paths. They both were not adequate for the company position they miraculously get, but eventually develops and improves themselves to be suitable for their jobs.

Main similarities:
- Both Boss & Me (2014) and 1% of Something (2016) feature a kind-hearted FL who selflessly saves a life of the ML's family member which subsequently entangles her with the ML. Both MLs are CEOs of large companies, while both FLs come from economically average backgrounds. In both dramas, the ML's rich family is surprisingly mostly supportive of his relationship with the FL. Both MLs have a younger sister.
- Both dramas feel a bit "old school" because they both use many cliché tropes and themes.
- Despite that, both are very feel-good dramas with minimal conflicts, low angst level, amazing chemistry between the leads and many fluffy moments.

Main differences:
- Boss & Me (2014) is more than twice as long drama as 1% of Something (2016) and it can feel a little draggy.
- Boss & Me (2014) is very centered on the character and development of the FL who begins as an inexperienced and insecure girl; meanwhile the FL in 1% of Something (2016) is confident and outspoken from the start.
- The ML in the Boss & Me (2014) stays mostly the same throughout the show. On the other hand, 1% of Something (2016) shows more development for the ML.

Both romantic comedies involves a rich guy with a poor but cute/nice girl. Similar themes. Great actresses in both, though the overall acting of the cast in fated to love you is probably better.

Both male leads is a CEO and the female leads is a normal girl.
Both have a cute relationship to each other.
But ABOUT IS LOVE is more light than BOSS AND ME.

Both are well done Chinese Fluffy romance dramas. Neither rush the story, so the relationships seem to evolve more naturally. Both feature a Boss/employee relationship. Boss and me is a little more traditional, with the Rich handsome man falling for the poor young spunky girl. Across the Ocean To See You is a bit of a modern twist, the male is the subordinate and the the boss is already pregnant when they meet.
