Yoo Ah In won't be able to appear in any program of KBS for now.

On March 17, media outlet Star News shared that KBS has decided to temporarily ban Yoo Ah In from the broadcast channel starting from March 15.

Yoo Ah In is currently facing an illegal drug use controversy and the final result of the investigation is not yet known. While the investigation is ongoing, KBS has decided to temporarily restrict Yoo Ah In from any of their programs.

KBS is known for taking a measure and banning celebrities that are involved in illegal drug use, sexual or physical assault, gambling, and other criminal charges.

Other celebrities that were banned because of their controversies are Kim Sae Ron, Kwak Do Won, Don Spike, and more.

Last month, Yoo Ah In shocked everyone with his illegal drug use controversy. The actor currently tested positive for several drugs such as marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.  It was also revealed that Yoo Ah In used over 4,400 propofol or a total of 73 times in 2021. Police also believed that the actor used propofol more than a hundred times until last year. The police are actively investigating the issue and Yoo Ah In is also participating in the investigations.

Currently, only the Netflix original K-drama Hellbound Season 2 is taken off from Yoo Ah In's upcoming projects. Instead of Yoo Ah In, actor Kim Sung Cheol will continue to portray his role. The upcoming K-drama will proceed with filming soon and actor Yoo Ah In is permanently out of the drama.

The actor is also expected to lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Goodbye Earth and movies High Five, Jeon, Ran, and The Match.
