Upcoming Netflix original drama "Courier" confirms its casting!

The main leads of "Courier" are finally confirmed!

On January 12th, Netflix announced that Kim Woo Bin, Esom, and Kang Yoo Seok will be the main leads for the upcoming drama "Courier." The drama will be directed by Cho Ui Seok who also helmed movies such as "Master," "Cold Eyes," and "The World of Silence."

"Courier" will be adapted on a webtoon with the same name. It will tell the story of a dystopian future wherein air pollution has become severe and people's way of surviving is through delivery services.

Kim Woo Bin will play as the legendary courier called "5-8." He's also known as Kang Yoo Seok who's a refugee and the first-ever delivery driver. Esom will play the role of a soldier named Seol Ah who's goal is to become the Minister of National Defense.

Meanwhile, actor Song Seung Heon's casting for the drama is still not confirmed. 

"Courier" will be part of the upcoming dramas from Netflix. Other dramas that will be available on Netflix are "All of Us Are Dead," "Money Heist," "Juvenile Justice," "A Business Proposal," "Twenty-Five Twenty-One," "Our Blues," and more. 

Kim Woo Bin is set to return with two dramas ("Our Blues" and "Courier") after six years. He last starred in the drama "Uncontrollably Fond" with Miss A's Suzy. The actor will also join the upcoming movie "Alien + People" with Ryu Joon Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Lee Ha Nee, So Ji Sub, and Jo Woo Jin.

This drama will be Esom's follow-up series after the hit SBS drama "Taxi Driver." The actress will also reportedly join the second season of the hit drama. Esom will also star in the upcoming movies "Single in Seoul " and "Kill Bok Soon." 

Meanwhile, this will be the second upcoming drama of rising actor Kang Yoo Seok. He will also participate in the upcoming series "The Mentalist" with Lee Si Young and Park Shi Hoo.
