Won Jin A is positively reviewing offer to star alongside Ji Sung in a new MBC K-drama
Yoon Kyun Sang is joining the upcoming JTBC historical K-drama Marble of God.
On February 13, it was officially confirmed that Yoon Kyun Sang will work alongside confirmed casts Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Sung Min, Claudia Kim, and Ha Yoon Kyung in the upcoming K-drama Marble of God.
Marble of God will tell the happenings in 1258, during the Goryeo dynasty at the height of the Mongol empire. It will reveal a team's love and friendship while searching for the country's holy relics.
Director Jeong Dae Yun (Reborn Rich, W, and She Was Pretty) and writer Jung Hyun Min (The Tale of Nokdu) will work together to create the historical series. Celltrion Entertainment and SLL will produce it.
Yoon Kyun Sang will portray the role of Wang Mu. He will be Claudia Kim's character Wang Hui's first love and he is also the protector of Won Ju's castle.
Marble of God aims to premiere this year. The K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes and will exclusively air on JTBC.
This K-drama will be Yoon Kyun Sang's grand comeback to the small screen. He was last seen three years ago through the K-drama House of Lies with Im Ji Yeon, Son Byung Ho, Song Ji In, Ahn Jung Hun, and Lee Mi Do. This will also be his return to the historical genre after eight years.
Yoon Kyun Sang started his career as a model. In 2012, he then ventured into acting and appeared in the historical K-drama Faith. 13 years later, the actor is returning to his roots and will star in another historical K-drama genre.
He is known for being part of the K-dramas Class of Lies, Clean with Passion for Now, Doubtful Victory, Doctors, Six Flying Dragons, The Time We Were Not in Love, Pinocchio, and more.
