Hello guys! We have received many messages from drama lovers who would love to contribute and write but have no idea what to write about. There are also those who have some amazing ideas but have no time or wish to write.
That is why we've decided to make it easier for the MDL community to pitch their own ideas or simply choose the available topics and write.
NOTE: this is not paid but voluntary work!
If you are interested in writing, first please take a look at Formatting and Writing Guidelines.
Then check out our Available Article Topics board where you can claim the article topics you find most interesting.
You can use this thread to pitch your own ideas or simply brainstorm. If you are not a writer but love reading articles, feel free to post which topics you would love to see featured.
What are the perks of being a writer? As a MDL writer, your articles will be displayed on your profile. Additionally, your writing will not only be featured on the main page but also with 88k Facebook and 22k Twitter followers. You can interact with other drama lovers in the comment section, make friends, receive feedback and add the articles to your portfolio. But most of all, you can share your love for Asian culture!

TL;DR:
- Get familiar with the Formatting and Writing Guidelines.
- Go to the Available Topics board and check out the available topics. Contact an editor when you find a topic you like.
- If there are no topics that interest you, use this topic to pitch your own ideas.
- If you already know what to write about then skip (2) and (3) and just contact an editor with your own idea.
- If you are not interested in writing but love reading you can still suggest article topics here.
