Absolute Favourite Dramas
Out of everything I've ever watched, these are my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES.
These are the dramas that i would most definitely give 10 stars.
To qualify for this list, a drama must have either an interesting/unique plot or setting (or both). It must also have a collection of likeable characters. Most of all, it must be so good that i NEVER got bored throughout the course of the show, meaning, there must never be a point where the plot plateaus so much that it feels like a chore to watch. No, these dramas must be good for ALL episodes.
started on 23/8/2021, but i'll keep adding to it.
It'll be in some sort of order, starting with the best.

1. Noodlanding op jou
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Watched in March 2020 (i think??)
Call me a normie or whatever, idc, this is my number 1 absolute favourite drama on this earth
Of course this one is on here. Seriously, such a well-made drama.
A refreshing and unique setting of North Korea that we've never really seen much in dramas before. A wonderful group of soldiers who quickly became my favourite group from any drama. Two wonderful romance plotlines that really make you root for their happiness.
Even if you take away the romance stuff, this drama is brilliant. It sparked an ongoing interest in North Korea for me. It's caused me to become more aware of the hardships of the people living there.
This drama changed my life in ways you could never even imagine. I am not joking. Seriously. Everything has changed because of this drama. Maybe one day i'll explain that.

I love this show so much ughhhhh

3. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Watched in June 2021
The prison setting is really interesting, the characters all have interesting backstories, it's seriously a perfect drama and i love it so much
The story of a baseball player who has to serve 1 year in prison. Mostly a story of him just going through prison and making both friends and enemies. Each of his cellmates and prison friends have their own unique backstories and you really find yourself rooting for them. His group of cellmates were so entertaining, i really loved them. This drama humanises prisoners a bit. Instead of making them all out to be horrible crooks, this show tells us that a number of prisoners are decent nice people, who were got wrapped up in shitty circumstances.
Seriously, a great drama.

4. Two Cops
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
Watched in February 2021
The greatest bromance drama IMO.
It's brilliant, a story of a conman and a cop whose lives become intertwined. The conman (now living as an invisible living 'ghost' who only the cop can see and hear) is able to possess the cop's body at times, meaning both of them are sharing the cop's body. It's such a fun concept and it was really well done throughout the show. There's also a big mystery to be solved, that ties in with all 3 main characters.
The romance with the FL is minimal, as the plot focuses more on the growing friendship between the cop and the conman, honestly one of my favourite bromances of all time.
