Dramas with Supermen and Creatures
I'm always surprised by the number of dramas that would be relatively normal, but have a random twist to it: a special power or supernatural background.
Here's a list of my favorite series with supernatural powers or creatures, in my order of preference.

1. I Hear Your Voice
Korean Drama - 2013, 18 episodes
Probably one of the OGs in this category. Crime/thriller, but with a twist, because our male lead can hear people's thoughts. This drama is gripping and thought-provoking, although it's a bit bland in the romance department. I highly recommend!

2. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
In this one, crime/thriller is combined with premonitions but in an innovative way: the premonitions are split between three leads that need to communicate to put the pieces together. With lots of suspense around whether or not the leads can avoid disaster, I honestly liked this one a lot!

3. You Who Came from the Stars
Korean Drama - 2013, 21 episodes
In this drama, alien meets rom-com and crime/mystery. The female lead is crazy and the romance is cute. It's all funs and games...until the end, but overall still worth the ride!
-
4. Padam Padam
Korean Drama - 2011, 20 episodes
I can't begin to explain what the supernatural is about in this drama. Is there an angel? Is there time travel? Is there premonition? Are they all in it? It's a chaotic mess...but in a good way. The romance in this drama is cute and thought-provoking, and there's quite a bit of mystery/thrill. I liked it!

5. Another Miss Oh
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
Not sure the superpower of premonition was really useful in this drama, but it doesn't make it less fun. The female lead is a bit loony but the drama has good humor, the romance is nice, there's a bit of mystery in it too. Good stuff!

6. The Game: Towards Zero
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
The male lead in this drama has the worst power ever: see how people die. But still, it's useful to investigate crimes!
-
7. The Girl Who Sees Scents
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Combining crime/thriller with smell is definitely not what most of us would think of. It's weird, but it's a fun premise!
-
8. Kobold
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Many rate this drama very high, but it was just okay for me. I was not a big fan of the romance and the plot wasn't the best. That being said, I liked the uniqueness of the goblin-grim reaper duo, and it had good humor, which made the ride worthwhile. Also, it was partly filmed in my country!
