❤️️ Thai BL Super List ❤️️

Top tier in the BL, huge Max/Tul stan, these guys set the bar and this gem is different from the usual engineer Thai drama snoozefest we get so often. 

It has an actual plot, the boys are sizzling and Great in the uniform.....

Lots of rewatch value, and highly recommended. Only maybe don't start here if this is your first Thai BL watch, it'll set the bar high.

Look I know, this is a very unpopular opinion, but honestly, I much preferred this one to the first season. I love Tin and Can and something about this season loved it.  Also a big fan of the chemistry between Meen and Est, they need another series together.

That being said the Tar/Tum,  and Techno/Kengla are a mess. As is whatever they did to Perth in this. 

I have a lot of rewatch on this one, it's not for everyone I get that, but I think you should give it a chance.

I'm going to say it, I didn't get the chemistry between Saint and Perth, and Mame's writing is toxic as all get out. Pete and Ae's story is good, Tin and Can of course but the others are pretty rough. It is up there in terms of popularity, so worth a watch. 

No rewatch ability on this, one and done.

Love Frank and Drake, especially Drake little cinnamon roll. This is their first time as a ship and I think they did an outstanding job despite the mess of a plot. It jumped the rails in the last few episodes and made so little sense. They were honestly so cute together though. 

Shout out to Neo and Phuwin in this as well, both their first debut. Neo is criminally underrated in this. 

Worth a watch-through, but I've never revisited it personally.

This was rough, Bas is adorable in it,  and of course, Kim and Cop debuting as a ship, but the whole series is just the Pha/Yo storyline not a hint of Fourth Beam. Took a LONG time, and then with the controversy around it....it was a one and done for me the sequel was way better.

Likes this so much more than the original, all 3 couples had outstanding chemistry, but Pavel and Dome stole the show for me. I don't even want to admit to how many times I've rewatched the Forth/Beam cut. This one is far better than the original in my opinion, but again the studio scandal ruined any chance of the actors returning for season 3. 

Rewatch value on Forth/Beam ?

Arguably the most popular Thai BL out there, probably because it hit right at peak COVID, but the cast is undeniably cute. Bright and Win, Top Tap and Mike, Frank and Drake, killer couples with great chemistry. My big gripe was mostly in the last two episodes, without spoilers it was confusing and a pretty big letdown. Honestly, the fandom is still a little salty. 

Rewatchable for sure ?

Sequel to 2gether, I actually really liked this one it was soft as all get out. Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt ? sadly very short, but a simple sweet premise and no contrived breakup.

Gunsmile yeeting himself into the ocean will never not be hilarious, lots of rewatch to it.

If you want more Saint/Perth and Mean/Plan this short alt series is worth the watch. It's very short, like really short, but it's sort of set in the same universe as LBC. I've never revisited, but if you're looking for killing time.

A soft, slow burn, beautifully made and acted. Made Earth and Mix a power couple for sure, and the series is well directed. It's become a staple in the fandom, worth it for a watch through but I can't see watching it more than once ⭐️

This suffered from format choices, Tik Tok is not the place to do a drama. The couple has great chemistry, but trying to watch little 30 seconds episodes was a pain. I ended up watching the supercuts on YouTube.  Never again. Honestly, I'd give this a pass, just wait to see Junior and Kad in Gen Y 2.

Oh boy the old stepbro trope....while not the worst thing I've watched, it was utterly ruined by the editing. They literally cut out the confession scene, who does that? All of a sudden they're dating wtf? There is an interesting plot with the twins, but it goes nowhere. 

Honestly, unless you're really into Thai BL you could give this one a miss.

I had such high hopes for this one, was so excited to see someone throw shade at the industry and come out swinging. It sort of did. The secondary couple stole the show for me, Marco and Bas had outstanding chemistry and while their story only really started towards the end it was so poignant. 

Worth a watch if you want something more serious.

Was REALLY looking forward to more Marco and Bas, but they completely lost the thread of the original story in this season. It was all over the place, and just when they started going into more real, gritty places they backed off. It was a pretty big letdown. 

Only recommend it if you watch season 1, but pass otherwise.

Man, I am not a fan of this new anthology-type format the Thai industry is trying. How many couples can we throw out to get them to stick?  This whole series was so-so, utterly forgettable despite the power couples featured here. 

If they hadn't been short little vignettes I would have passed.

This was not a BL, it is debatable but in my eyes not. It's super short, but not worth it. Hard pass, was salty I watched it for nothing.

Hands down my favourite opening for a series ever; it's drama and drapery.  It also has absolutely nothing to do with the series but I'm living for it. 

This is the sequel to the Pete/Kao side couple in Kiss Me, you don't really need to watch that in order to get this but it does give some context.  The second couple Mork and Sun stole the show for me on this one, loved them together. 

Pete/Kao (Tay/New) are part of the pillars of GMMTV, and BL fandom mainstays so if you're into it you'll eventually have to give this a watch. Not one I would ever watch again, but it's a good ending.

*BL side couple

It's a very short series mostly revolving around buying a house, and low key found family. The BL is a side couple, and it's only 5 episodes and nothing overly dramatic or melodrama to it. If you are looking for something simple, sure, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in the mood for it.

This took me by surprise. I wasn't going to watch, because I'm not a fan of Mame's writing but this was actually far more positive than her prior work. It's also different as it's not a 'get together story, it's about navigating the relationship once you are together. 

Not to mention the chemistry between Ja and First is on point, even the second couple is very sweet. Recommend giving it a look for sure, even if you just watch some of the highlights ;)

Oh boy.....the first part of the 3 part En of Love series. Honestly, this is not worth it. Acting is rough, the story is the copy-paste engineer/doc. I'd give this a hard pass if I were you.

Part 2 of the En of Love, and probably the best of the trilogy. War and Yin are very good, and they have great chemistry, the plot is poor though. It's mercifully short though, so there is that. 

They are doing a longer series based on this short one, so curious to see where they go with it. Worth a watch for sure. 

The final installment in the En of Love and forgettable. Pass.

Ahhhh GMMTV finding their stride for sure. Pond and Phu are so sweet together in this, it's funny and charming, nothing problematic and very soft. Neo is an underrated actor, he gives comedy for days. 

Worth a watch-through for sure.

Despite what you may think this has absolutely nothing to do with the 2 Moons universe. It's like a 2 Moons fanfic, and oddly charming. I didn't like it initially because the plot was all over the place, but Kim and Cop are a solid pair, and the bromance with Bas is so sweet and real. The surprising pair of Tong and Pok (Bank/Bonus)  was show-stealer though. 

I'm genuinely looking forward to the upcoming season 2. 

Recommend with high rewatch value.

One of the very few horror BL out there, and not bad for the budget they seemed to be working on.  If you enjoy supernatural horror, highly recommend this one it's worth it for sure. 

You need to forgive a lot somtimes when you watch BL, and Golden Blood started out so strong. It was a much different concept the young heir to a crime syndicate falls for his bodyguard.  It had promise, but it never quite delivered. I'm a simp for a service top and Sun was giving me life, but Sky's overacting was a little cartoonish after a while. 

Bank and Pitch were good together but I feel like they cut a lot of their story out so it felt pretty disjointed. Including cutting their confession scene....urgh.

It's not a wholly satisfying ending, but hey you can't win them all.

Short, like super short, utterly forgettable and no chemistry. Pass.

Yeah I know....but hey it was slightly better than the first.

Another installment in the horror genre and probably my favourite. Super short 3 quick episodes, but despite that Jeff and Gameplay have amazing chemistry and the OST is the best. Jeff is an incredible singer. 

Multiple watches and I never get tired of it.

Ohm and Singto are a power BL couple if there ever was one. Both excellent actors this was an interesting story, with well-drawn characters, and incredibly moving moments. It's on of those 'should watch once' series. I very much enjoyed this, not one I would revisit but worth your time for sure.

Part of that Northern Thai bandwagon, it has a few familiar faces, and they were really swinging for the fences for the plotlines. 

They also through some shade at Tale of a Thousand Stars, and the Avengers type assemble moment killed me. 

It was ok, but not one I'm rushing to rewatch again.

Don't get me wrong, this series is fantastic. The actors are incredible, the cinematography is amazing, and the story is well drawn. It is just a little overhyped. It's for sure a must-watch I think for all BL fans but it is not one you rewatch multiple times.

A series of little shorts BL style. Nothing very memorable from them, just short little watches.

This was one of the reasons I made it through lock down. Sweet little short, feel-good epsiodes. Gameplay's cat even makes an appearance, and his nephew, so cute and sweet. Not gonna lie they did Dome dirty but I can't even be mad.

So much rewatching.

This was the first time I've seen a series completely fall apart in the final episode. It was so bad. Up until that moment, it was top tier but honestly was the worst.  I would not watch the final episode except for maybe part 4 of it.

I applaud this series for taking on social and political issues. It had a clear message here, and Gun's performance was top shelf.  Now it sort of lost traction towards the end as it seems too convenient but the OST is amazing.

Nope, not worth it.

Wasn't great, but was interested enough to see where it was going. Not sure why they devided it in half though.

Absolute waste of time, the OST has no business being that good.

Absolute chaos, but short enough that it's worth a watch.

It was doing so well, but they dragged it out way to much. They also didn't really give solid screen time to the more compelling side stories.

I adored this, it's an absolute hot mess of fluff and feels but very sweet.  Made my top 10 list for sure.

Do I have a thing for Max and Nat? Absolutely, I will watch them by groceries. Zee is amazing, and I think NuNew did ok, he has some room to grow, but he held his own for the most part. I wish the 3rd couple had a little more development but can't have everything.

Honestly loved this series, Zee is my boy....just chewing scenery in this absolute fire.  COVID did the Saf/Zon story dirty though, so disappointing really love Tommy and Jimmy.

For me it was the middle of the rode, but a whole lot of problematic. I forced myself through season 1 but I honestly have no interest in season 2. They're just cashing in on MewGulf and I wasn't into it.

Ohm is the soul reason for the rating. He is steller even at a young age here. Our OG boys Peak and Boom do such a good job. Now my only gripe is the age of these kids acting is uncomfortably young for some of the more romantic moments. Not good.

If you watch season 1, worth it to follow up. The million-dollar question of course, why are Moe's braces so low on his teeth?

I came for Pok/Tong and Jack/Kao and I was sorely dissapointed. Oofff this was a mess of a plot. My biggest pet peeve in a series is them singing a song at each other, and this series had an episode where they sang 3 songs in a row at each other....I nearly yeeted my computer out the window.

Yeah, I watched it....it started out promising, but it was not good....I felt bad for the actors towards the end, the writers seemed to completely lose the plot thread.

An interesting concept, short 2 episodes with little stories about characters named for days of the week. Some were stronger than others, the Pluth/Kang storyline was absolute fire...chemistry for days. That final episode through killed it for me.... it also suffered from that stupid 2 hour window thing Asiplay did.

I loved the book and couldn't wait for the series. I didn't like the gender change in the friend and the side plot that didn't exsist in the book but I will forgive all because Mork's dimples can heal all wounds. Just a sweet little fluff.

SOTUS is OG BL content, but it was a painful watch. I mean if you want to see what the fuss is about should give it a go, but it's slow...like really slow.  I couldn't bring myself to watch season 2.

The movie I thought was better, I watched for Eath/New but the chemistry was poor and the story problematic. The side couple was better, and I had zero interest in the het pairing. Also Totap with the dad? Worth it for that.

Well....it happend....I kept watching for Mike and Toptap the rest was just a mess. The plot couldn't settle on itself. They did Pod and Khao dirty in this.

You know I liked it at the time, but it's sort of been forgettable. I haven't gone back to it. I mean it's an interesting watch, and it started out with such a promising message but it sort of clicked out on the concept before the end.

Love.....so much love. I mean I'm a total sucker for a soul mate storyline, and this was so compelling. It's one of the few I rewatch in its entirety. Plot and romance, and such great chemistry.

I hated HATED Khai, the character was so terrible that I was not at all rooting for them at all but I know Off/Gun are one of the GMMTV pillars but this was not my favourite of their work. The side couple got barely any time together.

I liked this, Singto was cute and I thought they had good chemistry. I also liked Yoon and Yacht together.

The real hero here is tighty whities....if you want to see Fluke in somthing VERY different give it a watch, but be warned it it dark, very, very dark.

Probably my favorite BL horror film. It's a slow, creeping psychological horror that takes you on a dark journey.  Gun and Oab are a master class in this.

The concept could have been really cool...but they very much dropped the ball. I love KimCop but this was not great.

Ok I liked it, Pete/Boss cute couple, and the other storyline I thought was pretty compelling for what it was.

Ooof it was rough, I love Bank/Bonus and Pete/Boss but this plot was underdeveloped and made little sense.

I was ok with the main leads, was wooden though. The side couple stole the show so cute. The love triangle with the doctor was an absolute travesty.  I would skip that part totally.

One of the BEST kiss scenes I've seen in a BL somthing about it....the plots are a bit of a mess and there are brothers in this that I thought were the same person but they were not.

Poor Kim and Cop.....they can't catch a break, at least this was better then My Candy, but it wasn't anything new and exciting.

Oh boy....this came in hot, and I mean hot. It was a wild summer watching this. I'm not a fan of the plot, hate that mafia/bodyguard trope but I cannot deny it was very spicy and smutty. It's not for everyone, you need to be ok with the risque.

There was a whole lot of rage watching in this. It has some great visuals and spicy NSFW but the plot was absolute shambles.

It leaned into the camp and I was into it, one of those cases where it was so bad it was good. It was anarchy start to finish and I loved it.

Low key loved the Mai/Wan in this, but the subs are a waking nightmare so be prepared for that.

LOVE LOVE LOVE cannot recommend enough this was so well done. Yin and War were excellent, and this is the first BL to give me second lead syndrome, I hope they give Nuea his own series really outstanding.

This dragged a bit, I liked the plot, but it felt like it slowed down and I wanted it to lean harder into the alternate universe thing. The Lays pp drove me nuts, so cringy.

Unpopular opinion this was so-so. I mean it was interesting plotwise, but I thought it dragged in the middle. It was 'another Thai high school BL'

Big fan of Rain/Payu, not fussy about the second half, but I loved that 'daddy' was cannon Rain in my favourite brat. The plot was sort of half-baked, but those NSFW scenes came in hot.

This was cute, pillow princess/service top in the TonChon universe. Thankfully they forget that TonChon existed be interested to see if they develop any of the side characters.

This was just bad, poor Game you're better than this. I still have no idea what the plot was, my big takeaway was everyday crown wear is office manditory.

Micro series, the leads were pretty cute, but the format was a train wreck.

Not nearly as good as part one, but support for the indie projects.

That ending was devastating. For such a short series, it packs an emotional journey.

I went into this with great hesitance and no expectations but I absolutely fell in love with Thatch and Lom, an adorable couple. The rest is a trainwreck.

THIS! So cute, the main couple is great looking together, easy skinship and comfortable. This would have been a 9 but I hate a time skip......this was stupid honestly.

I really liked this one, it was somthing different, and I have a soft spot for low-key toxic relationships and this one was. Would have liked more of the eyepatch couple that was some spicy NSFW but cures YouTube.

I'm puzzled why this has such a high rating, the story was so bland....I know everyone was in it for Santa/Earth, but this was so draggy in the middle I watched it at 2x speed and missed nothing.

Just fan service and fluff, I mean it's cute and all but there is nothing of substance here.

I tapped out on this one, Ohm's acting has not changed.

It was ok? Some were really into it I wasn't the chemistry was working though.

What a confusing mess of a thing,  and the kissing through the plastic oooff choices were made and they were all poor ones.

This was actually super cute, and it didn't get an international release which is an absolute shame. These two have solid chemistry and I want to see more of them in somthing (aside from that one episode of Mr Universe)

Really liked the story, soft, slow burn, high school romance there were a lot of songs that made it drag a lot but I'm not the target demographic.

It's criminally underrated if you can watch this, it fully deserves more love the plot was actually interesting.
