I rated this series so low because I didn't like the female lead. She was portrayed as this unusual, magnetic, innocent character, but my God, I found her annoying in the first couple of episodes. I. was a bit disappointed and thought about dropping the series. The only thing that kept me watching was the male lead in his relationship with his brothers. I wanted to see how the conflict would be resolved. The second half of this drama got me somewhat interested in the primary relationship. Still, the side couple was my main focus. My biggest issue with this series is the plot progression. The abrupt change of emotions between the FL and ML confused me at some point while I was watching. It felt like I was experiencing two different dramas. The feelings between the first half and the second half felt disjointed. I thought the editing was changed, or the writers wanted to pull out a stronger emotion from the audience. It almost felt like the way everything was wrapping up was too abrupt and felt unnatural. There were just so many unanswered questions. In the end, It was more like, "Oh, okay. That's the end of the series." I can see why some people might like this show, but it wasn't the right fit for me. However, I plan on looking into the male lead's other work. I find his acting interesting. He is pretty handsome, IMO.

Korean Drama - 2021, 9 episodes
I'm sorry, but how is this romantic in any way- Ji Woo is a giant red flag! For the better part of this drama, he treats Seo Joon like an annoying gum stain on the bottom of his shoes. Yes, what happened in the restaurant in episode 1 would leave a wrong impression on anyone, but Seo Joon realizes his actions were rude and tries to make amends. He was constantly trying to be cordial and a good housemate. Ji Woo throws daggers at him at any chance he can get. This is not a cute depiction of a tsundere. Countless others in BL dramas were portrayed in a better way. Sang Woo -Semantic Error comes to mind, same stoic expression better character development. Also, I would like to talk about the fact that almost every side character in some form was out to use Seo Joon in some way; this does not include the manager and assistant. I don't care if the reporter had a redeeming arc. It still took her too long to realize a human being was suffering. The argument that it's her job to report the truth does not work for me. In my eyes, she's just a gossip columnist. She seemed way too happy to try and take someone down with her version of the truth. I know there's a season 2, but I won't be watching it. Seo Joon was robbed of a great love he deserved so much more.
