1. Navillera
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
It was this drama that made me fall completely in love with Song Kang.
I had already seen Love Alarm at that point and was not impressed, even if Song Kang’s character was my favourite. However, when I heard about this drama, how it was about ballet, I was immediately hooked. I love ballet, and I anticipated this drama so much.
This drama is forever one of my favourites. The characters relationships were so well done and I cried so much for them. The themes were so well handled, I was not disappointed.

2. Wat is er aan de hand met secretaresse Kim?
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
This was the very first drama I have ever watched. I had read the manhwa and then discoveredthere was a show, so of course I had to watch it since the story was so good. I was also curious how they could handle the plot and flashbacks in this format. I was not disappointed.
I had some trouble with the acting at first, but came to realise that it was just how things were done in SK. I got used to it.
This was also the first drama I made my friend watch (since she had also read the manhwa) and since then we are both drama addicts lol
So yeah, the story was good, and the ending was satisfying. But the reason it is in this list is mostly bc it was such an important step in my life of drama watching.
also is the drama that I fell in love with Park Seojoon.

3. Kobold
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Although this drama was not the first that I watched, I remember seeing posts and gifs about it in social media years before I actually watched it. I was expecting something big, and I was not disappointed.
Some parts of it made me uncomfortable (Female Lead’s age vs Male Lead) but other than thatit was so good.
It was also the first show that made me cry so hard that my eyes were puffy. Worth it

4. Uncontrollably Fond
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
I know a lot of people didn’t like this one, but god did I love it.
This was the drama where I discovered Kim Woo Bin (after hearing so much about him). His acting was so so good, the chokehold his character had in me is indecent. I felt so much for him, I cried for him for two whole episodes. The tears just didn’t stop flowing.
I know a lot of people didn’t like Bae Suzy’s acting, but I honestly don’t see where she did wrong? Her acting was good and managed to make me perceive the right emotions at the right moment.
all in all, one of my absolute favourites. I wish I could watch it again for the first time.

5. It's Okay, That's Love
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much when I started this drama. And it was solely based on the fact that it was a 2014 drama, even though I saw many people say it was really good.
This is definitely not the kind of drama that I am usually drawn to. And there were definitely stuff that I didn’t like (age gap!!!) but most of the things were handled so well??? In 2014???
The romance was ok, I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t quite feel the chemistry between the characters. However mental illnesses and trauma were handled so well. I definitely cried at some point and made me fall in love with some actors (*ahem* D.O).
When I understood the plot twist, I felt my heart break into tiny pieces. It actually took an embarrassing amount of time for me to understand it, or maybe I was just in denial.
i would definitely recommend this drama

6. Gaus Electronics
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
This one is fresh out of the oven. It just came out but it already holds a dear place in my heart.
I was attracted to this drama because of Kwak Dong Yeon, whom I fell in love with in Vicenzo. Ididn’t even look at the other actors and just started with the knowledge that it was comedy and that Kwak Dong Yeon had a main role.
So when I saw that some of the actors were also my favourites (Go Sung Hee, and Bae Hyun Sung — whom I’ve been accidentally following closely), I was delighted.
This drama is so perfect to me. The romance is well done and the comedy is so so good. The characters are endearing. Would have liked to see the second romance develop a little more but honestly I was okay with the open ending at the point where they were. The supporting roles were all hilarious, with a special mention to Aziz.
this is just a feel good drama that made me laugh out loud.
