  • A Journey to Love

    1. A Journey to Love

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes

Healthy communication. There is a scene where he felt jealous of her flirting and acted overboard,  He was called out by other cast and the FL for his possessiveness. So, the couple talked it out and all was sorted, instead of the usual cold shoulder or silent treatment. They also discuss serious issues regarding their future together. They don't lose themselves for each other and respect boundaries. They are many other instances I can't fully remember now. - u/Cultural_Show1068

    2. Confidential Items

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 21 episodes

Will Love in Spring - this is a drama that deals with the development of both main leads not just as a couple but very much individually. It has darker themes than your usual healing melodramas, but it has a balanced mix of lighthearted yet mature romance, comedy, and slice of life. - u/viola_blossoming

  • Fake It Till You Make It

    3. Fake It Till You Make It

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 14 episodes

Fake it Til You Make It - mature, smart leads with a hint of steamy/sexy romance. this is a workplace romance with realistic life dilemmas, so if you’re tired of cheesy romcoms, this is your go-to. - u/viola_blossoming

Fake It Till You Make It - A mature modern romance drama with a lawyer and an investment banker as the main leads. The couple has great chemistry and realistic dialogue about relationships. It's a great show- check it out! - u/acumuluscloud

  • Love Your Bones Forever

    4. Love Your Bones Forever

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 30 episodes

    Forever & Ever

The most mature relationship I've seen in Cdramas. The leads has this unbreakable trust with each other. They solved everything by communication and their observation of each other. If there is misunderstanding, instead of thinking the worst, the trust they have towards each other triumphed of what other people might say -- its very refreshing to watch such relationship without break up, petty games or misunderstandings. I love how they know each other's thoughts even without words and being each other solid rocks during hard times.

The most joy of watching their relationship is all the heart to heart talks they always had with each other -- it’s like seeing the process of falling in love. They literally just talk with each other constantly and you can see why they formed such a strong bond due to all these little talks. Not many romance dramas have this so I was taken back with how deep some of the conversations. ❤️ - u/-tsuyoi_hikari-

  • Monarch Industry

    5. Monarch Industry

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 68 episodes

The Rebel Princess. Historical costume. Although there is controversy that 40 year old Zhang Zi Yi played her teenage self in early episodes, she is a seasoned actress (FL in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon etc) and this is her first TV drama. She specifically picked Zhou Yi Wie for ML as the General for his first major role. Great storyline and fantastic production with wonderful set design, cinamatography, costume design, and some of the best battle scenes in cdrama. - u/Duanedoberman

  • You Are My Glory

    6. You Are My Glory

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 32 episodes

You are my glory is probably my favorite for showing maturity in relationships.

Communication, trust, support for each other's individual endeavors. Both leads are their own person as well as something together.

Path to ordinary is a more slice of life, less romance, but the leads are all young adults trying to find their way in society at a law firm, but they are also very well adjusted early career professionals.

I would say be your own light as well. This has 3 FL all with different personalities, they all work at a news station and they each have their own challenges. They help and support each other and even work through their own relationship problems with each other. - u/ChoppedChef33
