He could have done it easily, but you can see how much he has come to respect Moon Ho. But, at the end of the day, his first priority will always be with Chae Yeong Shin.

Ep 40; 12:48-18:11

"If anything happened to you, what would I do?" 

"If it's related to you, I'll always be scared."

I know so many people must be like "this series is littered with swoony moments, and this is the scene you choose?" Yes, it is indeed. Is it healthy how much Ling Bu Yi loves Cheng Shao Shang? No, friends, it is not. But, then again, Ling Bu Yi is not the most stable character. I 100% believe he would kill anyone in order to keep Cheng Sho Shang safe.

Ep 20; 30:40-34:32

"No matter who you are, you're one of a kind in my heart. No one will ever be able to replace you. I love you. I will love you forever."

The lead up to He Tian Xing remember his time in the novel was so, so good. Zheng Xiao En  spent so much time pursuing Situ Ao Ran, and it was nice to see him pursuing her back. But I wanted IT ALL. I wanted him to remember every single minute with her, and he does. We get to see the recap of their romance in a beautiful montage as well as the memories overwhelming him. Ahh, perfection.
