HOLD: Why are these shows on hold?

This is a list to justify why I've put shows on hold. They're also in part to explain what I liked and to organise my thoughts so I don't have to scramble to remember a show I last watched while it was airing months ago! Strictly speaking, I have some "dropped" titles which are soft drops - closer to hold than dropped! Those are mentioned in the DROPPED list I made!
