1. As One
Korean Movie - 2012
I never imagined myself crying over a sports film. What could honestly be so sad seeing a team playing ping-pong? Well, this movie could prove to all of you that a sports film is definitely worth your tears. The golden friendship and the teamwork built between two teams that are meant to stay as enemies would make you cry bucket of tears. Definitely recommended for all of you if you want to watch sweet and heartfelt victories and teamwork!

2. Inseparable Bros
Korean Movie - 2019
This movie is definitely one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. Brotherhood—not by blood, but still as beautiful as ever. The casts portrayed each of their characters excellently here. I’ve watched this several times now and it still manages to make me cry like a baby each time.Super good! Definitely recommended!

3. Dear My Friends
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Woo! This drama needs more recognition! Great drama that I think everyone should watch. Don’t judge a (drama) by it’s cover, you guys! Most people would probably think the same way I did when I first saw the cover, “What could be so great about seeing old grandpas and grandmas?” but I was so wrong to judge this drama that way. This drama is super addicting, even though it made me cry rivers, I couldn’t count how many times I smiled watching beautiful scenes in this drama. Totally totally recommended!

4. Miracle in Cell No. 7
Korean Movie - 2013
The classic tearjerker movie. Even EXO members couldn’t help themselves but cry watching this movie! My first ever Korean movie and this was totally heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time. Totally worth the watch!

5. Collateral
Korean Movie - 2020
I cried rivers watching this movie. The main actors here was super perfect for the movie and they just managed to act out all of the scenes—happy ones and even sad ones—just excellently. One of the best movies I’ve watched. Prepare tissues and I could guarantee that this movie would also make you smile!

6. Hi Bye, Mama!
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Of course Hi Bye Mama should be on this list! I promised myself to not cry too early watching this drama, but I just can’t help it! Bittersweet but I just love how this movie wraps up the whole story! All the characters here are super lovable and this drama is definitely recommended for all of you who is searching for something light with a hint of comedy and romance and something that could make you cry happy/sad tears.

7. Salut D'Amour
Korean Movie - 2015
Chanyeol and Moon Ga Young’s first project together! However, this shouldn’t be the only reason why you should watch this movie. Youn Youh Jung, Han Ji Min, Park Geun Hyung and Cho Jin Woong deserves an applause for their acting here! Sweet movie portraying beautiful romance between two elderly couple. Tearjerking most of thetime, but sweet at the same time! Definitely worth the watch!

8. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Am I being a little too sensitive here or does anyone else also cried buckets of tears watching this drama? I have to admit that the main FL was annoying at first—I couldn’t stand her selfishness in the first few episodes—but the character development and how the writers portrayed each of the characters here was just beautiful. Excellent. Moon Sang Tae deserves an Oscar for this drama! Prepare tissues for crying (and for laughing). Recommended!

9. Sunny
Korean Movie - 2011
I put Sunny in both my comedy list and my tearjerking list because it is indeed comedic but tearjerking at the same time. I’m just a sucker for friendship movies and I couldn’t help myself but cry every time I see great friendships—like here in this movie. You need to see this at least once in your life, especially those of you who are struggling with adulthood and friendships. Totally recommended!

10. Harmony
Korean Movie - 2010
There’s no way you won’t cry watching this one! Heartbreaking but in a very very good way. I just can’t explain how beautiful this movie is—from start to finish! Prepare tissues because I guarantee you’ll need it.

11. My Palpitating Life
Korean Movie - 2014
One word to describe this movie: heart-wrenching. A beautiful film that could make you teary-eyed. The storyline isn’t new and somehow very predictable, but I can guarantee that this movie would leave you a dropping a tear or two.
