My firsts !

My first korean drama

Overall, this was also my first drama.
I was in an anime slump,  in a need of a gender bender and I kinda stumbled on it on YT with subtitles... EASY PICK :)

The gender bender concept, the music theme and *cough* the reverse harem *cough* easily won me over, so~~ yup this started my drama journey.
Actually, it was something totally new and fresh to my eyes that it was really easy to watch (for my 2014 self).
Up to this day I still have the "Without Words" song stuck in my memory, that's how memorable this is to me.

My first japanese movie

I don't remember much of the movie itself, I just remember its premise and how I felt after I finished watching it haha.
Anyways, this was really sad and it really broke me (I cried buckets....) but this didn't stop me from watching tearjerkers.... instead this started a new phase in my drama journey (a long one at that).
Every friday or saturday night I would purposefully search up tearjerkers/tragedy movies to cry my eyes out cleanse my eyes. It kinda became a ritual lol.

My first thai movie

I remember this movie being so cute and fluffy (like first love), I think I also cried a lot!
One thing I remember for sure is that my young self totally fell head over heels for Mario Maurer (ML), he was just so PERFECT ♥

My first chinese drama

I loved this one A LOT! The music, the costumes, the story were just perfect *chef's kiss*.
I don't want to give out spoilers.... so I'll write about it at the bottom ;)
I watched this in the early years of my drama journey and at that time I had that love triangle phase, obviously I always ended up rooting for the wrong guy and had my heart broken lol
This drama was also what made me a fan of Cecilia Liu and look up more of her dramas (that's how I discovered Scarlet Heart ♡) .

She actually ended up with who I thought was the SML, finally the guy I rooted for in a  love triangle ended up with the FL!

My first hong kong movie

Alright, so I watched this for the first time on TV as a kid and with my fish memory I hardly remember anything. The only thing that I remember vividly is that fluffy little cutie ♡ haha.
I didn't even know it was a hong kong movie, but I'll count it as my first nonetheless. Otherwise it would've been Chungking Express (iconic).

My first thai drama

Long story short, my fujoshi friend brought me into the BL world (the same friend who introduced me to dramas, a good friend indeed!) and that's how I ended up watching Love Sick.
At the time I wasn't really picky about dramas and I literally survived Boys Over Flowers (which I don't think I could now....) anyways, the awkward acting didn't stop me.
The main couple was so cute and endearing to watch, but it's not all about cute and fluffy stuff the drama also delved into more dark issues of students' lives.

Up to this day I still watch thai BLs because they're my standard of BL (though chinese, taiwanese and even japanese and korean BLs now are interesting options).

My first japanese drama

As an avid fan of the manga I really couldn't pass this one and yep it was my first japanese drama (if we don't count power rangers I watched on TV as a kid, never completed it though).

Faithful to the manga it didn't fail me to make me laugh!

My first taiwanese movie

I don't remember much of it as I watched it long time ago but the music and the overall atmosphere of the movie were so captivating that I still remember this one particular scene with the piano.

My first filipino movie

Everyone's first filipino movie, I guess haha.
Just as many said in the comments, when I started this I was expecting a cringey romantic story in a rosy plate but a plate with a box of tissues and a little candy was what I actually got served. Not that it's bad, though :')

My first taiwanese drama

I literally have almost near to no recollection about this.... apart from it being a reverse harem (my taste in reverse harem was still going strong haha).

My first korean movie

This was hard (My little bride could also be my first movie.... either way it's probably this or that and the other is my second movie). I really liked Moon Geun Young (FL) so I remember looking her movies.

And again I'm at a loss, my memory doesn't really help me out here....

My first chinese movie

So here's the thing, I came to the conclusion this was my first chinese movie by exclusion (probably not accurate).
