ML's affections for FL felt weak. Growth of FL shown thru dress & hairstyle was really well done. Attempted rape consequences were not given which angers me.  Music good.

Could've had a stronger storyline...maybe too many actors w/lines? Rao was fantastic especially since he is a fighter not an actor in real life. Martial artistry still a joy to watch & music goes great w/this testosterone fest.

Parkour scenes great. Music really good.

Not a fan of any of the female characters, except FL & mom.

Dislikes: characters absent & then randomly popping in, FL's assertiveness, ML's skinniness, romance between mentally challenged bro & friend, & no need characters (jealous girl student, ML's blind date). Preferred more story w/ all the kids (2 boys liking daughter). Liked the daughter actress & her ice skating suitor was very charismatic.

 Ending - crazy girl buying the book w/ the story that unfolded. Little girl poisoning not believable.  Who hit girl twin, & tossed HS girl off roof? What happened to boy twin? Season 2?

Notes:   Moments of genius mixed in w/ a shit show. ML actor 21 ys older than FL (46 & 25).  Somewhat creepy... FL goes after him aggressively & obsessively in a spoiled brat plus daringly adult kinda way & he is good looking so creepiness was tempered. Disliked the mom character & storyline. ML's brooding nontalking acting continued on a bit too much. FL treated clinger-on boy distastefully, didn't like her for that. In novel, the story this was created from, FL dies. 3 endings shot: [1] FL dies (in snow or later?), ML lives like she is still alive. Blooming of flowers causes his reunion dream. [2] FL is alive a returns 1 yr later (why does he not go w/her?). [3] FL dies after spending a brief time w/ML & then he dies. The end is their reunion in afterlife.  Almost wanted a stronger storyline between FL & clinger-on boy (the necklace incident was pure gold). Music & scenery are phenomenal. Good quote:  "When faced w/true love, men get scared & woman get stronger."

Didn't really care who FL ended up with, Bartender, Barber BF or cheating husband. Cringed at sister meeting ex-abusive FL2's hubby at dating mixer even if he has changed.

Ending - none of the current alive characters dies... I think. Sequel set up?

ML's acting from domineering leader to at the end naïve boyish soldier showed great acting ability.  ML 2 also switches personality.  Didn't like FL actress, she didn't seem to go w/ML.  

Open Ending - Sister & nephew killed, ML looks like he dies but returns 5 yrs later as common solider w/ different name & no memory of past or he died & soldier is doppelganger. Cig lighter on ground that FL picks up is MLs.

ML goes back to July but leaves her @ alter as she requested if he didn't love her. July is pregnant but dies from childbirth complications. Ansheng perpetuates the lie that July is traveling all over as she takes care of her kid, finishes novel & meets old flame coincidentally.

Notes:   1940's during Japanese occupation of Korea & end scenes are in 2011. Girls would be in there 90's but looked in their 70's. Music was mesmerizing. Hee nor ML did anything to apologize for their betrayal/affair. Hee & ML were totally in love. As young adults Hee is killed & ML commits suicide after a goodbye letter to his ex. Ending - Yul steels Hee's name to sing but realizes the goodbye song ML gave her showed she was just as good as Hee, so revenge was senseless.

Liked other 2 couple pairings more interesting.  Liked director w/FL alot, but w/actress was really good too.

Dad was a cheater so dad liked more than mom, so why did son opt to get rid of transplant? Maybe another girl in future would cure him. Actor who played son only 15 (17 in Korean yrs).

Notes:  Strange.  Blind FL couldn't smell 2 different people in room?  Lots of female nudity including a heavy-set woman. Sex scenes were started only & left to imagination for rest.  At the end think ML becomes the puppet.

Notes:   FL super tall, & pretty good actress. Don't like character when showing spoiled & entitled behavior.  Clothes are a bit too flashy for my taste, it draws away attention from the story. ML not sold on character or actor...not sure why.  ML2, Cha Eun Woo started out w/some not likable acting but he got better as scenes focused on his storyline. Cinematography & music are amazing.  Eerily similar to Bulgasal. Season 2 coming in 2023.

Notes:  Rival band real, INI.  8LOOM temp band during drama.  A few songs were really good.   Acting was so-so for newbies.  Last few episodes only about saying sorry a million times. Lead characters 10 ys apart, so a strong love story would have been cringy especially due to age gap & maturity levels (FL very adult, ML immature). Glad they stayed @ interest only. Ambiguous ending -  Band reunites after 3 yr hiatus, ML seeks FL out @ her teaching school. Sequel?

Notes:  The acting was good but didn't care for ML & FL's faces. 1 sweet non-memorable kiss. The last few episodes were a mess, the story fell apart.  What happened to Maizi? He was the most interesting character.  FL treated ML like dirt on last travel back trip & then all of a sudden she wanted to be close w/him...made no sense.  

Ending - FL manages to save ML & becomes a vet (same goal as ML, so has she really learned anything? Just following a man, like her ex-fiancée) ML returns to her after a 2 yr hiatus we think (umbrella w/no face covers FL). I was wondering if he was still dead in future (Coma?). ML time travels too? Chatter says Movie sequel to come.

Notes:   Wow. After watching Shin Seung Ho as crowned prince in Alchemy of Souls a weightlifter in this movie makes him seem very like a very versatile skillful actor. What a body.

Notes:   FL was smart, strong & kind, but not pretty. Acting was very good, especially ML.  ML2 was a strong contender but i knew the King would be the victor from the start. Kissing was just lips on lips. Palace politics minimal, focus was on love story.

Notes:  It reminded me of "Descendants of the Sun". The sci-fi element was a bit of a surprise & felt like it should have been a different movie altogether. Quite a bit of over dramatization/unrealistic. Slept thru a few episodes & didn't feel like I needed to go back to watch. Fav scene Lee Ji Hoon reaction to getting caught w/lipstick smudges. A few pretty good kisses. Liked the main lead pairing. 

Ending was like "The Last Empress." (Actor's face never shown).  ML chose death over wheelchair life so after he leaves for a year & returns not looking for FL, what is his situation? Lee Je Hoon is an amazing actor.

Notes:   Reading the subtitles was a bit tough as pace was super-fast.  Per info - Used a book series to create but drama is a mess. I am not familiar w/books so not sure.  Yang Yang was totally AWESOME & wished for a lot more scenes w/him although his lack of film time added to his allure/mystery. Fatty character was quite annoying. An 8 part series gone wrong?

Notes:   The pianist was a psycho stalker. She gives woman a bad name & I just wanted to punch her. My fav, the hunk acted like an idiot trying to create a drama series w/the cute corky little girl & lost the beautiful smart girl, Lana who he had an awesome chemistry with. Lana ended up w/ the guy who went to same college & major as she. To me they are too much alike w/ no sparks. 2 couples formed: 3+5 & 4+6.  Will be waiting for season 3!!!!
