Asian BL (mainly Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese)

Hi! I'm an Asian, 22 and gay! I can't believe all these year I never explored the theme of BL but literally when I first discovered it in September 2021, I've binged watch so many of them now and can't stop hahaha! Here's a list of the ones I watched, ranked accordingly to the ratings I give. 

Here are 3 honourable mentions:

1. We Best Love Seasons 1&2: The best BL in my opinion from Taiwan so far. And by far nothing can beat it. May have only 6 hours worth of content across two seasons but the acting by every single character, main or side, is top notch. I especially appreciate Sam Lin (Gao Shi De)'s acting. Every expression and emotion portrayed is just so moving and realistic. A must watch.

2. Trapped from HIStory Season 3: Most favourite series in the HIStory series and second most favourite BL drama from Taiwan. I was already so happy to see 20x30 minutes episode, not something you see often from BL dramas. The plot is also interesting to begin with and no one would expect them to fall in love with each other when you first see the show. A well developed story line with no over complication and is really a must watch in my opinion.

3. To My Star: Best Korean BL in my opinion. A pity that it's so short but even still, everything fits just right and both actors are really talented and played their characters very well. Their interactions are really cute and the best part is there isn't a second couple so all the story is focused on them and them only, hence a very well developed plot with little to no loopholes.
