Personal Favorite BL's
I have watched too many BL shows since I came across 2gether at the end of 2021. This list is created to commemorate my favorites—those I rewatch again and again or that made me feel special emotions. Both movies and series are included. Not in particular order and I will update this if needed.
-
1. BKPP
Thai Drama - 2020, 5 episodes
This show is a masterclass in many aspects: writing, acting, cinematography, music. One of the best queer shows I have ever watched. Haven't rewatched it again, but I will never forget the feelings I experience when I first watched it.
-
2. Bad Buddy
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
A feel good show with a simple story. However, it is written and acted well. Nanon and Ohm are impressive. I was in awe of their chemistry and acting. This is an example of an ordinary story becomes special because of its good writing and strong characters.
-
3. The Eighth Sense
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
Another show on the list that I haven't rewatched. But, this drama is definitely special and making me feel things. It's mellow but sweet at the same time. One of the best Korean BLs.
-
4. 180 Degrees Longitude Between Us
Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
A show like no other. Perhaps because it is written by a playwright. This drama is heartbreaking and making me lonely. But to me, this is such an inspiring drama.

5. Seven Days: Monday - Thursday
Japanese Movie - 2015
I love Japanese romantic movies. They are slow and dreamy. This one included. I've watched this movie several times already, and every time it never failed to make me feel warmth.
-
6. Seven Days: Friday - Sunday
Japanese Movie - 2015
-
7. We Are
Thai Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
In general, this drama is kinda so-so. However, I include this for Phum and Peem. I love their character and I think they are match made in heaven. I love their love story so much! They make me a fan of Phuwin and Pond.

8. Never Let Me Go
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
To be completely honest, I watch this for Phum and Peem a.k.a Pond and Phuwin. But surprisingly, this show is better than I expected. I especially love the music and the cinematography. Though there are parts of the story I want to criticize, I still like it in general.
-
9. Sotus
Thai Drama - 2016, 15 episodes
The classic one.
I read the novel, and I found it to be well written. No wonder the series is also good. Kongpob and Arthit are well developed characters. The story is somewhat simple, but Kong and Arthit make it strong. Though I like the novel better, Sotus is still a gem.
-
10. I Feel You Linger in the Air: Uncut Version
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
I also read the novel for this one. When you adapt a good material for your series, unless you ruin it yourself, you'll definitely create an amazing one. This drama is probably one of the best Thai BL's I've watched. Except for the ending, I even like the drama better than the novel. The writing for this series adds more layer to the story and makes it more complex. Bright is so fitting as Yai. He portrays the elegance and grace of Yai's character very well.

11. Kieta Hatsukoi
Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
A cute and sweet series. The story is so simple, and yet so good and deep. I've rewatched the series so many times and never get bored.
-
12. Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai!
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Another cute and sweet series. Have also rewatched this many times. I don't know why I love this so much. I guess, I am touched by Kota's character and I adore how Naoya loves him.
-
13. You Are My Favorite
Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
I just have to include this series because it is criminally underrated. More people should know how good this series is. The plot is solid from start to finish and the characters are carefully developed. I think, this is one of the best written, if not the best, GMMTV drama's I've ever watched.
-
14. Bokura no Shokutaku
Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
Heartwarming and beautiful. If you often feel alone and not belong, you will find this show comforting.
-
15. One Room Angel
Japanese Drama - 2023, 6 episodes
This one is also for the lonely and cold heart out there. I can relate so much because I am also someone who's broken inside, who's longing for peace and for a place to belong.
-
16. Mou Mou
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
My current watch which has become my favorite already. One of the most romantic piece of stories in any form of medium I've ever encountered.
