on hold/ maybe dropped? love acting (especially ml's) and the overall story but after handful of episodes it starts to drag and some things become annoying and there is a romance that I'm barely interested in..

  • Our Beloved Summer

    105. Our Beloved Summer

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    6.5

Not the greatest drama but it's certainly a vibe. I don't think I've ever come across this type of drama that gives off this type of vibe. Despite it being sad and emotional at times, it also feels refreshing? And has a summer vibe as well? I loved seeing them basically disliking each other to loving each other. It was also fun to see them bicker and stuff. As much as I enjoyed it, it feels more like a guilty pleasure to me. I had some issues with it like Yeon Soo and how they could have developed her character a bit more.. honestly, I feel like they should have given her a better explanation for why she broke up with Woong. I understand it, but also it seems like a small thing to break up over. Her case it obviously serious for her, but it seems pretty shitty the way she did it with no proper explanation.. Or, they could have at least had Yeon Soo be better, explain her issues more, and explain more to Woong about the troubles she had gone through in the past and during that time..

  • Tomorrow

    106. Tomorrow

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

on hold; started it and it seems to be trying to tell meaningful stories and send meaningful messages but something feels missing or off ://

  • Alchemy of Souls

    107. Alchemy of Souls

    Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes

    6.0

not that great tbh but really interesting and somewhat enjoyable; love the overall cast.. some problems I have so far tho are that the plot started off kinda strong and then simmered out into a very slow pace.. and a lot of the times, the drama gets a bit too dragged out from other comedy and romance scenes or other scenes that seem pointless or uninteresing.. Also the fl feels like she has no actual purpose? She also does not feel  like a fully fleshed out character... I mostly looked forward to what she would be doing and her journey, but she basically doesn't have one because the writers don't seem to know what to do with her and what to do with the story... The writing in the last episode was interesting and kinda good, but the problem is the journey there... We hit an interesting and powerful point but the journey and path there is questionable and honestly uninteresting..

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

but it started getting messy near the end and the last episode was sooo bad.. ending is also very different from the web novel

  • Weak Hero

    111. Weak Hero

acting and stuff was amazing but overall i think it was just alright.. I'll just go read the webtoon at this point..

  • They Were There

    112. They Were There

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    6.5

It was okay. Some things did kinda feel a bit dragged out and some things didn't hit emotionally for me. I also feel like there weren't that much emotional depth or portrayal for some things.. like the death of their friend... I totally forgot about that near the end and they move on from it so quickly. I also did not get to feel attached to his character at all so I did not really care when he died. Also, there wasn't necessarily a character that I really liked; everyone was just okay. And the relationship and portrayal of Wook and his mother and them reuniting is so anticlimactic... You literally have been looking for each other for like 27 years.. and this is your reaction? I know it's been a while, and there's a bit of a disconnect, especially for Wook, but I expected more from them.. Especially the mom! If I were the mom and I realized that he was my son, I would be rushing towards him, hugging him tightly, asking him so much about his life, and so on! Moreover, if I thought he was there because he was a dead missing person, I would be soo upset and frantic and be asking so many questions and be soo overprotective.

  • Racket Boys

    113. Racket Boys

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    6.0

enjoyed it a lot but... only partially. they added in too much screentime for the side characters in the village; they even had this plotline and stuff with them that I literally just skipped over every time. And it wasn't just a little; their screentime literally took up half of every episode... it was very unnecessary and boring.. everything except that was good. this drama would have been a 9 out of 10 for me if it weren't for them... The first 2 episodes were probably my fav episodes in the drama; i didn't skip a single scene in those episodes and enjoyed most of it... honestly it felt like maybe the producer or someone in charge of this drama wanted 16 episodes for the drama, so the writers just put in shit to take up the time for it to reach 16 episodes in total..

  • Ghost Doctor

    116. Ghost Doctor

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    5.5

loved the bromance between the two male leads but that was mostly it tbh... there were some inconsistencies and some things that made the drama and its characters seem dumb to the point where I don't take things seriously in the drama... and I want to take this drama seriously because I kinda get what the writers were possibly trying to do but they also butchered the possible good stuff that they had and ruined its potential.. it ended up being pretty draggy and there wasn't that much development in the characters, including the main leads... I wanted more growth from kim bum's character but he ended up not developing as much and the development he did have was very rushed and was near the end of the drama.. Since there are ghosts in this drama and our ml can see ghosts and also talked about struggling with seeing ghosts, I thought there would be a lot more characters who were ghosts in a HOSPITAL.. but there weren't... if they had introduced more characters who were ghosts and their stories  or just more patients it would have IMMENSELY helped with the dragging plot in this drama... also the romance was pretty bland and boring and did not need as much screentime as it did.. I think I enjoyed the first 5 episodes the most... the way they built up to some reveals was so fun to watch

  • Alchemy of Souls: Part 2

    117. Alchemy of Souls: Part 2

    Korean Drama - 2022, 10 episodes

    4.5

Love the cast. Editing and some of the cinematography was good but.... It had immense potential (storywise, etc.) and it all went to waste.... it could have had more interesting scenes too if it was better written.. As a whole, this drama feels like a collection of interesting ideas they wanted to do but did not know how to put them together or how to execute them... I feel like these ideas they had should have been separate stories and not a part of one coherent story..

  • One Shot Scandal

    118. One Shot Scandal

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    2.5

had potential to be decently enjoyable while discussing some important topics but IT FAILED... the writers pushed in a random thriller/mystery plot with a predictable and dumb psycho killer and it was not even written welll....... I'm so disappointed and pissed at the writers actually.. they barely gave attention to the actual things that should and could be discussed in this drama... like what the hell.. I even went into it with the intent of going easy on it, not critiquing that much, and  view this drama as light (not take it too seriously but also take it somewhat seriously) BUT THIS, this is too far.. it's NOT EVEN GOOD writing, like did the writers even try? I'm genuinely curious whether they actually tried and it's shit or they just didn't give a damn... y'all are really testing my patience here..

Why are there only a few good characters in this drama and why is Lee Rang is the best one? lol

I skipped through like 70% of the drama because it was badly done romance and a plot that was boring most of the time.. The first episode was a good set up of the drama though, I'll give it that. Also, I wished Rang didn't die; I was perfectly okay with the ml dying.

  • Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season 2

    126. Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    3.0

I honestly thought this season would be better than the first season because it didn't seem to have a bland and boring romance as the central focus, but this drama ended up being even more disappointing?!? They did time travel and the way they did it did not make any sense. They never explain what happens because of changes made in the past or how they affect present day. They also really confused me on Yeon and Rang's past and what exactly happened and when things happened? Also Rang seemed kinda different from season 1 and I understand that this is Rang from 1938 not present day but he still kinda seems more like a shadow of himself and not exactly like the Rang we know. And if it is Rang from 1938, shouldn't he more hateful or less willing to open his heart? His character in 1938 doesn't seem like what his character would have been like in 1938, especially when you think about the first half of season 1. His character almost feels like a different character. Also, the romance his character has is kinda unnecessary.. they could have built on the bromance between Yeon and Rang (which is what I thought they were doing at first) but they give them a kinda bland romance plotline?? And now he has to go through saving his girl like Yeon did? I understand what they were going for with the romance; they were trying to help him grow as a character and learn to trust and open his heart. BUT They did it sooo badly and I ended up not caring at all! And Yeon went to the past to get stuff to IN CONCLUSION get Rang back (reincarnated) BUT THEY DON'T SHOW ANYTHING ABOUT RANG IN THE PRESENT DAY AT THE END?!?!?  Do y'all have a brain?!? They don't even know what to do with the plot so it's always jumping around, throwing in a bunch of villains, etc... like what in the world. It's truly upsetting for me to say that season 1 was better... AND I DIDN'T EVEN LIKE SEASON 1!!

  • The Good Bad Mother

    127. The Good Bad Mother

    Korean Drama - 2023, 14 episodes

    6.0

I think this drama portrayed really well the trauma and bad parenting. It showed the mom as a bad parent but didn't necessarily show her as a villian and therefore, you feel somewhat conflicted (complicated). AND that's how the ml felt and I deeply relate to that. I kinda wish they focused more on that relationship instead of the actual bad guys and getting revenge on them.. The drama kinda went downhill and the last couple of episodes were kind of a drag... also the mother dying was really unnecessary. Her just saying in a letter that she wished she'd done better and will hopefully someday when they meet again was just not good.. It would have been better to actually show her making an effort and doing better..

  • 18 Again

    128. 18 Again

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    6.5

It was okay.. don't feel that strongly about it. Maybe I wasn't in the right mindset when watching it? I mostly cared about the ml's kids (the teenagers) and I wanted more from them.

  • Bumped Into You

    129. Bumped Into You

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    6.0

twas okay; it was your basic time travel mystery drama... it slightly touched on some problems certain characters experienced in the past which I enjoying learning about and seeing the fl learn about.. my only problems with this drama that made it not become as good as it could have been is the fact that the leads didn't actually do that much to find the murderer? They tried saving people.. kinda but not as much on seeking out the murderer as they said they would.. Also the other problem was that they didn't really give an exact reason as to why the murderer killed those people and they didn't really explain how either.. and the other other issue was that sometimes the leads were just waiting around and doing nothing, almost like they were waiting for something to happen (for the plot to kick in) and those scenes led to potential romantic scenes. Now I'm not bothered by the romance that much; I think it was kinda cute and sweet but they really could have done it better. The way they did it made it feel kinda random and out of place...

  • See You in My 19th Life

    131. See You in My 19th Life

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    6.0

I feel like the 1st episode is my favorite one (I think it was really well made). So far, the drama has good cinematography and acting and I like some of the ost. But some of the editing and background soundtracks (soundmixing) is off. Also, I feel like they are cramming a lot of the webtoon into 12 episodes. And at this rate the drama with crash and burn near the end and it won't be as good as it would have been.

  • The Devil

    132. The Devil

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    6.0

enjoying many aspects of it; acting is awesome; it kinda bored me a bit near the end though.. I think they were trying to stretch and drag the plot too much..

  • The Miracle Brothers

    133. The Miracle Brothers

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    5.0

It started kinda okay and maybe somewhat interesting but then it was sooo predictable and boring and dragged out... I kept on thinking, "surely there's more. there has to be more depth and layers to this story!" But no... there's not really any depth or layers.. it's just a very boring basic story that was dragged out for no reason. This drama could have ended in like 5 episodes honestly... also, the police were so unnecessary. The main leads were figuring out stuff and the police were finding out stuff like a couple steps behind and they didn't do much in the drama.. and they got sooo much screentime... also, apparently ml's brother wrote a book about being a witness and committing murder.. but apparently there are no layers to that? idk the writer didn't really show any. When we met him in present day, he was the most faceless bland boring character I've ever seen.. honestly Kang San was kinda an interesting character. I wish they focused more on him and his past and how he deals with it. I mostly watched for the actor (Bae Hyun Sung) and honestly he served! I really enjoyed him in this drama. It's just that everything else in this drama was pretty much shit

watched for the main actress. it's alright; so far I'm enjoying both the main leads and their interactions but the drama as a whole is kinda basic and meh.. and then they did a "twist" that was really unnecessary.. first half was a bit enjoyable but then it became pretty draggy and boring. Love the main leads' relationship though, one the most non-toxic, wholesome, trusting and honest relationships I've seen in kdrama

  • Adult Kids

    136. Adult Kids

Honestly, this movie was very well made. Obviously there are many things early on in the movie that are glimpses of some of the truth that is revealed later on. And it is so clear now that I know everything.. that was really well set up. I'm okay with most of it and how things unraveled except for a couple things.. I didn't really like the ml accidentally killing two people... Yes, accidents can happen but it kinda borderlined on ridiculousness... But I understand why the writers had the father/doctor killed off; I just wish they could have killed him off in a different way. They way he was accidentally killed was kinda ridiculous that I kinda stopped taking the movie fully seriously... actually I was taken out of the movie during the first accidental kill but I was kinda more lenient on it and sorta was just like "okay that happened" But idk I ended up having very mixed feelings about this movie mostly because of those things. The other reveal was good but I wished they would have done it better than just him revealing himself.. I feel like they could have done things a bit better and it would have made the movie so much better and maybe it could have been one of my favs... but oh well

    144. Twinkling Watermelon

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    5.5

a bit confusing? the story is edited/structured a bit weird... love the cast though and love the high school, music, love story, humor, and youth vibe

But it disappointed me... some good things but it's like it didn't have enough substance or depth?? It got pretty messy and draggy at times for no reason. Tbh this type of story is pretty straightforward, but they made it pretty messily and so the execution is really off.. So much stuff is kinda left out  in and there are a lot of random stuff that is put in. I'm also kinda confused on the message this drama wants to send it's audience. I'm okay if a drama does not want to have a particular message, but this drama seems to really want to send a clear message to its audience. I understand that part of the message is that your life is your life and you shouldn't carry on the burden of other people's lives and you should do what you want. But a lot of the actions and scenes fail to truly show that message. During the drama, Eun gyeol is trying to fix his parents' lives in the past. He ultimately makes their lives a lot better in the future, and when he returns to the present, he is living his dreams. The problem here is that Eun gyeol focuses solely on correcting the past lives of his parents. He barely focuses on what he wants and how he can live his life. Now, I understand that that is his character and he has been looking after his family his whole life, but they should have had him realize he can't focus on others his whole life and then he should've ended up focusing on his own. Him returning to the present where it is now sunshine and rainbows is a bit like an easy way out sort of ending. He never got to truly express himself and work out some issue he had with his dad and others in the beginning of the drama. Everything just is solved when he returns. I feel like he should have returned and most of the present was the same, and he had to still face those problems and discussions.

I will say though, this drama has some flaws and inconsistencies that don't make it exactly good.. I'm honestly turning a blind eye and trying to not pay attention to these issues because what can I do about it lol. I'm just here to enjoy and for the vibes

Started off okay but ended up being a disappointment... They set up the drama as if they will show some growth, learning, and change but that's not what happened... it seemed like the writer didn't know how to grow their characters or what to do with them..

Pretty interesting... Ji chang wook and Wi Ha Joon's acting in this drama is really good. I really enjoyed it thanks to those two. I just wish there was a bit more depth to the characters and their relationships. It felt pretty lacking to be honest. Also, they could have done more with the character of Eui Jung but she was just on the sidelines going back and forth and being worried.. She was also a cop but they didn't do much with her when she was supposed to be involved in the investigation... She could have tried to get info or influence Ki Chul somehow but instead she was busy just dating him. I honestly don't know how that helps the investigation. Maybe it helped at first when they were suspicious of Jun mo but after that... there's not much point to it.. If the writers wanted to have Ki chul try to do some character growth and change, they could have showed more of that and the troubles he has with his normal gang life and trying to go after the girl he loves.. they did show a bit of it but it wasn't much to truly show his character and his struggles..

  • Ballerina

    154. Ballerina

    Korean Movie - 2023

    7.0

Cinematography is amazing!! Also love the use of music tbh.. the plot of the movie was pretty simple and basic honestly.. but I can't really complain because that is what the movie presented itself as, and it did just that. I have all this bottled up anger and frustration towards those digusting types of people who sexually assault and r*pe, and this movie gave me some level of satisfaction with seeing the mc getting revenge for her friend and the other people and killing those types of disgusting people. Honestly they could have gave this movie more depth and added in a bit more background on the other people who were sexually assualted. It could have made this movie better and gave it more depth instead of feeling sort of surface level.. I actually like that the main bad guy does not have much depth.. I don't know, I know that it's better to have layers and depth to the "bad guys" in a story/film, but but honestly, I think those type of people don't deserve that level of consideration. I often tend to be sympathetic even if they are terrible people/characters, so I'm pretty glad that they didn't really try to give him layers in this film. This movie honestly helped me relieve and let out some of that anger and resentment towards these types of people that exist irl.

  • Missing: The Other Side 2

    158. Missing: The Other Side 2

    Korean Drama - 2022, 14 episodes

    7.5

Enjoyed this a bit more than the first season... although it did drag at times. I also think I was more emotionally invested and moved by this season. I also liked Kim wook and Jong ah a bit more this season. I really liked Oh Il Young... while I'm glad that he's alive and woke up from his coma, I'm kinda sad that he forgot all the stuff he went through and learned and about the people in the villages.. Also loved the bromance between Kim wook and Il Young, but since he doesn't remember, they basically have to start over again and there's a bit of disconnect in their connection.. If there is a season 3, I hope they include Il Young and have him have his memories back. There were some things in this drama that weren't explained... kind of left as a mystery or something "that can't be explained." I hope they at least try to give more explanation and more on the connection between the living and the dead if there is another season..

It's okay... I personally like the ml and the fl lead and most of ml's family but of course we've got to focus on the drama and the annoying "villains." It's okay but it is pretty draggy and predictable.. I get bored throughout most of it tbh... and I skip through a lot of scenes... I really like seeing the fl being assertive and strong and standing up against her family tho. It's good to see, and obviously it's essentially the main point of the story

??? kinda weird and the writing is pretty messy... I mostly stayed for choi hyun wook

Honestly, I wouldn't necessarily call it a great drama.. it was kinda just okay.. gave me sort of the ick feeling?? But I mean it's essentially about selling drugs and greed so... I guess it makes sense. Not sure how to think of the drama as a whole? I feel sort of conflicted by it? I wouldn't say that this drama is terrible though. I think it just kind of showcases how messed up parts of our world are, no matter how we try to ignore it. Beneath the surface of our world, there are disgusting happenings and messed up things happening about and lurking. I think the purpose of the drama is to kind of show that. Honestly ngl, I really liked Choi Hyun Wook in this drama and the role he took on. He's essentially an antagonist with a reasonable purpose and background. I liked seeing how he would go to try and protect himself and in the end, get revenge. He's not a great person, but I appreciate his character and the lengths he takes to try and bring everyone down with him. When you look at it, most of the characters are just people struggling to function and survive in this complicated and difficult world.. and it essentially leads them to take on certain actions throughout the drama that aren't exactly morally right..

I don't understand what it's trying to tell me either.. it's just all over the place. I thought this drama was supposed to be a commentary and/or message on social media and influencers, but it ended up not really being about that and got really messy...

Started off kinda good but got progressively worse tbh... Love Tae joon and Tae yang's relationship and they are like the only actually good characters that deserve the best in this drama... Some other side characters like Jung hwan also deserve some appreciation since they ended up growing a bit and being better... but I feel like they moved him on to be better too quickly (like in one night) that it irks me a bit. Also Ji hyun, hated her guts.. She changed so quickly as well. It was literally with a flip of a switch. Did she properly own up to her mistakes and troubles? Idk I skipped over her scenes. And frankly, I don't care either.. Also, Tae joon's mom is so shitty. Like what the hell.. Who do you think you are?! To compare you're children?? To favor one over the other to the extreme?? To the point that you try to break up one person's relationship and get angry when you see them hanging out?? And you call yourself a mother?? And the audacity to be all sad and say you have to right to be his mom? But you also are not changing?? What the hell?? Also, the coaches and parents in this drama are all shit.. I do not understand them. They don't deserve any sympathy or understanding.

I saw a bit of this when it came out, but never got through to fully watching it. So now in Nov 2023, I got slightly interested and decided to give it a try

Idk why but I always love seeing the time travel concept, and usually at least enjoy it a bit when a series has it even if it ends up being mid. Obviously if the writers blow things out of proportion, have too many things that don't make sense, and too many things happen for no reason, then I see its flaws and just how bad it is and end up not enjoying it. This drama had some things that could have been done better and some things that were kind of left unanswered, but it wasn't too much so the drama just kinda turned out okay. Don't exactly love it but I don't exactly hate it either. And a part of me even likes it a bit. The writing was especially clumsy in the beginning. It was kind of okay after the first couple of episodes, but it became sort of dumb later on and really rushed near the end.. I think what shined the most in this drama is the main couple and their relationship, which makes sense because it is about them and their journey. But still, they really made me love seeing them together, how they work through their problems, and their journey!

love the main leads' performances (and some of the ost) but... that's about it tbh... it's kinda trying to give off slice of life and deep connections to characters type of vibe but it comes off as shallow and basic. There's so much lack of depth and lack of exploration of characters and relationships... I think another problem is how there's a lot of characters and they're trying to juggle all of them when they don't know how to do it well.. so it's just a big mess and I end up not really caring about most of the characters and we don't get to know the characters and their experiences in depth. A lot of things also kinda get rushed through and they brush over things pretty quickly... overall I'm pretty disappointed by this drama...

enjoying it more than I thought I would. But in general, the drama is just kinda okay, not really that overly wonderful, interesting, or good.. I'm mostly enjoying it for the main leads... don't really like anyone else in the drama tbh..

I enjoy seeing the main leads deal with fate/destiny and kind of going against it... especially fl, she sees her possible "fated" lover but chooses to kinda go against it and go for the one she likes instead. It is pretty basic (overused) and boring tho... and so I got bored of the drama as a whole pretty fast. I did not get the point of the mystery plot either... so random. Also, the person trying to control them? Did not understand his motives or why he did things....

Has some issues and many annoying aspects and characters, but was still somewhat enjoyable.. I absolutely loved the main couple (Chae won and Jae hee)! They have a very wholesome and trusting relationship!! And they had their troubles, but there was barely any unnecessary drama between them! I liked the portrayal of divorce and mental health in this drama. I wish they had shown more of it, but it was still good. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Jae hee's parents' relationship. Their divorce was just seen as a divorce (wasn't deemed as bad), and it was even shown as a positive for Min Jae! Jung ho did realize his issues and try to grow, and by the end, they hinted at them getting back together (after Jung ho shows Min Jae that he's changed). I mean I guess this can be good and all, but personally, I don't think I would want to get back with someone after he has been mistreating my child and me for so many years... also, she still seemed like she was hurt/scarred from how he treated her.. and the drama acted as if they were showing her journey to becoming a strong independent woman, but it was cut pretty short and now she's getting back with the person who hurt and mistreated her?? Maybe acquaintances or friends would be okay after some healing. But full on back together and living together?? Umm no! The writers also portrayed Soon Jung kind of weirdly. They wanted to make her seem the most caring mother who sacrifices everything, but she came off as selfish and inconsiderate... so I ended up disliking her..

As someone who finally accepts that I have depression and that I in fact need some therapy, this drama does not make me feel any better about my depression or my life. It gives off the impression that the person who wrote this truly does not understand what it means to have depression and to want to commit suicide.... They were basically suicide shaming the whole time.. tbh I feel like a lot of people with depression also tend to be the ones who are the most empathetic and caring and looking out for others.... to the point that they may ignore their own needs and not show that same level of care and appreciation for themselves... I understand the fact of the message of "everyone has it hard" and "you're hurting those you leave behind." But that is all just guilt-tripping, is it not?? And most people with depression are aware of it, and it actually makes them feel worse for being/feeling the way that they are. I used to kind of have the same mentality, unfortunately. And it was very toxic because I was depressed and was shunning my own thoughts and feelings and making myself feel worse. I am not a fan on how they portrayed suicide and their message  in this drama... This kind of viewpoint is pretty selfish and judgemental, isn't it? If people are committing suicide and there are people wanting to commit suicide, shouldn't one's first thought be "they must be struggling so much" or "how can I help and support this person" or something like that? It feels like the drama is telling me "What gives you the right to struggle and consider suicide. Everyone has it hard. Just push through." As someone who has been criticized all of my life for simply expressing emotions and struggle, that sort of message does not make me feel any better. Makes me really angry and want to off myself more tbh..

Sorta not as good as first season. But as a whole, I realized that the issue with this drama is that it seems to take on more than it can handle.. Each of the main five have their own stories and romance storylines, but the writers don't seem to truly flesh out and explain their stories well.. It's just very surface level, and it sometimes seems a bit messy and rushed as well because they're trying to juggle everything.. Also, I know this is slice of life, but things got stale and repetitive sorta fast. Also, I feel like no character truly goes through an arc or growth... it just feels that way.. it just feels like they experience things and live life and that's that. I know that's kinda how life is, but we also change and grow, and it would have been nice if the drama had more of that with its characters..

I love that honestly; gets me excited to find out and watch more lol. I really really love Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Jiwon's acting and chemistry in this drama! It's soo much beyond amazing that I honestly have no words for it!! I'm obsessed lol.. My only problem is some of the writing maybe? It feels kinda messy and all over the place.. But no, we had to drag it alll the way out until the near end.. and it's not like anything interesting happened while getting there.... literally nothing interesting happened, just characters doing whatever.. gosh, I was so bored out of my mind. idk why but I only fully enjoyed the first episode... after that, most of the humor didn't work for me... (except for the bromance). I think I had more different expectations for the drama than it offered. The plot was very dragged out and honestly very uninteresting.. Also, there wasn't enough depth to the characters and the events shown. By the end of the drama, I still felt like I barely knew the characters, and I didn't care about most of them either.. I loved the bromance between Kim Sung Ryong and Seo Yool. I kinda mostly started this drama because of them, but the actual fun and good part of their bromance didn't actually start until episode 17. There were little bits of it here and there before that episode, but yeah, it didn't really get good until then.. I skipped through most of the drama, and honestly don't remember much, if not anything that happened in the drama because I could not care less.

don't judge me... I've got my issues with it and it is your basic boring classic romcom and I actually don't really like yoona's acting (like ever, even in this drama). Her acting is just soo bad tbh. There was this "emotional" scene where she is breaking up with her ex boyfriend, but I could not feel the emotions from both the actors.. like it literally felt like two people trying to act but failing soo badly. But idk the drama still grabbed me in some way.. it's just a simple romcom with some business politics/rich family drama (badly done but ok) and I appreciate it for that. it's just honestly pretty cute. I also really love a couple of the osts and will definitely keep listening to them and feel nostalgic when listening to them lol! I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone ever though.. it just wasn't that good...

idk if there will be another season or more to come, but just from this alone, this drama is pretty lacking and underdeveloped.. it's pretty messy and lacking with its plot (and explanations) and showcasing characters and the depth with those characters and their relationships with one another.. I kept wanting more depth, but they didn't seem to truly give it to me. And the drama ends up feeling so bland and boring that I almost dropped it.. I read the BTS webtoon Save Me, and it sorta helped me understand the drama better. However, I feel like I shouldn't have to read the webtoon to understand a drama better. All the names and some of the character backgrounds and plot was also different... they just wrote this drama really poorly tbh, which is a pity because I really liked the main cast.. what a waste of potential..

What a mess of a show... the only character I actually like is moem tbh... all the other characterizations of the characters are sorta weird and not well developed.. This drama had soo much potential with its amazing cast but it was destroyed by terrible and very lacking writing... I'm soo disappointed.. this could have been such a good and heartfelt family drama, but it fails at doing so.. Besides the fact that I love and appreciate jung haein and somin and their acting, I did not enjoy most of this drama. Most of it wasn't giving.. most of the emotional moments didn't reach out to me... tbh idk why because I get emotional really really easily.. the scenes just felt so shallow and kinda rushed and rehearsed... I saw and liked the vision for the friends to lovers arc between the two mains but the execution was just soo messy and terrible... just the writing on it though.. jung haein and somin really gave it their all and did well in portraying their parts to the best of their ability. Honestly, I didn't really like anybody else in the drama.. just everybody's characterization was really off and messy and weird.. I guess the dads were sometimes funny? But I didn't really care much for them as characters.. hated both the moms tbh... both of them were really annoying actually... some people liked the second lead couple more than the mains, but I didn't care for them that much honestly.. just this drama as a whole was a plain boring utter mess.. it had so much potential too though..

That saying, so many people in the village and in this drama are straight up disgusting trashy people. Only like Jeong U,  Jeong U's mom, Ha seol, and Sang Cheol seem be actually decent/good human beings (besides the people that are dead).
