First of all, the acting is phenomenal ! The story sucks you straight in from the very first episode and you cannot stop watching. The show begins very strong and ends on a high note. The plot of both the main characters and the side characters is really well written. Character development is very on point for both the leads and the secondary characters. You really root for the main characters' happiness and you even come to understand the villain's motives and even feel remorse for him, even though you very much hate him. Every character is important to the main plot of the story and with every episode, you come to understand what it is all about. They didn't spare any budget when it comes to bringing in big names to this drama. The actors are geniuses in bringing their character to life in a very believable and compelling way. Acting skills on point. I mean, Jung Kyung Ho plays one of the lead roles, do I have to say more? Let us also not forget about Yoon Hyun Min, who has also proven himself as a worthy, very talented actor, both in this show as in past shows he played in! I just love how well they portray their complex characters in such an intriguing way. Overall, I would definitely say one of my utmost favourites. Story wise, character development wise, acting skills,...

When I first started watching this show, I didn't expect anything from it and just thought it would be another light high school drama you'd just love to watch as a guilty pleasure but oh boy was I wrong about this one.. I have never watched a high school drama with such depth as this one. It doesn't shy away from bullying, rape, poverty, domestic violence, suicide and so on. It addresses these subjects in a way it should be portrayed: a very brutal but honest way. Because rape is brutal, bullying is damaging, suicide is heartwrenching and horrible. The psychological effects on these characters are serious. Bravo to the young actors who portrayed these psychologically damaged teenagers. You really could feel their emotions and pain throughout the story. You really believed that they have gone through this hell and you were desperately hoping that they would overcome their fears and anger and sadness, hoping for a better future where they can help each other heal overtime. The third character who had to play a sociopath was one of my favourites. His portrayal was really believable and chilling and really gave me the creeps. His smile only, brrrr. That was some damn good acting. I think towards the end they rushed the plot a bit too fast, like there were still some plot holes that needed to be resolved but overall, I really liked the short story and can def recommend it to people who'd like to see a more 'grown up' version of a high school drama. Even the theme song was very catchy!
