3. Noodlanding op jou
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Such a gem. I binged through the drama because it is amazing. I started watching K-dramas in 2013 but took a long break because K-dramas weren't really a phenomenon for me. They were merely dramas I found on streaming platforms and that I needed subtitles for. Now comes 2020 and Covid-19 was declared a pandemic. I had lost my job and just with pure luck found a new place to live. Well, it all turned out alright and I had the best summer of my life (I lived in the Rockies in Canada). Anyway, during the first weeks, I was quite disheartened and that's when I found Crash Landing on You. Exactly what I needed during that time. Not only did it bring this dama comfort, but it also built a friendship with a girl from my high school class that I never was friends with. We lived in different time zones and all but this drama, and my rekindled love for K-dramas, created a wonderful friendship that is still going strong. We adopted another former classmate and K-drama lover and now we are a strong trio! So, you guessed it, this K-Drama means a lot to me.

4. Diary of a Prosecutor
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I really liked the first 11 eps; however thereafter, I felt like the plot became boring and unnecessary. They should have wrapped the drama up after 11 eps. I liked the cases and the corruption plot during the 11 eps. And only regarding such eps, I would certainly recommend this drama. From ep 12 onwards, Myung Joo became more and more an insignificant character, which was sad to watch. She seemed quite tamed and lost her fire. Meanwhile, Sun Woong did not change at all. He still believes that he is high and mighty. Nonetheless, I like the ending. There is always going to be work for the prosecutors and sometimes there are big cases and cases of corruption. The ending left room for a 2nd season, though I hope that they will not follow that path. I kind of liked where it ended as it leaves room for us to imagine their future while still offering a realistic ending. Nevertheless, it took me several tries to finish the drama and due to the last 5 eps, I would not necessarily recommend this drama. There are certainly better law and prosecution dramas out there.

5. Hot Stove League
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I quite liked this drama as I appreciate sports dramas. The leads were really cool as well. Despite having a good and final ending, I wish we could get another season. If you like sports dramas, then you should deffo watch this one.

6. Triad Princess
Taiwanese Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
I liked the drama. It is quite short and a bit goofy, though, it is deffo not my favourite. Anyway, I was looking forward to the second season (assumed to be produced considering the ending). Considering that it is currently 2024 and a second season has not been produced or in talks yet, I can assume that there is not going to be a second season. I will leave the rating of a 7/10 but the ending would deffo downgrade it to a 5.5/10. Why did they even let the drama end on such a plot?

7. Under the Power
Chinese Drama - 2019, 55 episodes
Simply horrible. The CGI and also the script made me die on the inside. During the time of watching this drama, I refused to drop any dramas I didn't like. I wish I would have dropped this one. Such a waste.
