favorite KDRAMAS of all time

the strongest point of the drama is the detailed story and the romance between the main leads. It may seem like a regular melodrama but i think it captures the most complicated yet simple emotions between humans. the acting is so good and the comedic moments are not distracting. 

this is a very popular candidate for a lot of people's favorite drama list so it's not surprising. However is one of the first drama's if not the first that i absolutely loved every moment. It's best part besides the cinematography and the characters is it's treatment of mental illness. A show that was written smartly and that didn't look down on its audience when it came to showing these difficult moments everyone can relate to. 

I'm including season 1 and 2 in this cause it feels like a well connected story from the first episode to the last. Every single moment of this show is a 10/10 for me and it made me feel so alive while watching it. One of the best coming of age, young love, friendship dramas ever made in my opinion. It deserves so much more recognition! 

My first historical drama and wow, it was an amazing choice. The best part of the show is the character progression of the female protagonist and how this show even though takes places years in the past, can still be relatable and similar to so many struggles of today's world. The cinematography was a 10/10 and the romance felt so sincere. 

I know this show has flaws but it has to be part of my all time favorite drama's cause the experience was one of a kind. The strongest part of the show is the friendship of the trio and all their struggles. It has such a good balance of melodrama, spiciness, heartbreak and realism. My the second leads stole the show for me but it was such an entertaining story with a complex but enjoyable plot. 

some may think this is a joke but this show it's honestly one of my favorites. The fact that one of my favorite kpop groups ever, Loona, stars in its own web drama about university life and first love is outstanding so this means a lot to me. Three seasons of the most beautiful type of cringe and softness. 

This drama scarred me for life. It's so traumatizing yet one of the best viewing experiences i have ever lived. Truly everything stands out: the writing, the acting, the overall premise, the tone, the pacing, etc. It's a must watch for literally EVERYONE. 

Out of all the dramas in this list that i adore with all my heart and that mean so much to me, Twenty-Five Twenty-One is my favorite drama of all time and stands out between all of them. It feels short to me to say that this drama is a 10/10 cause it's so much more than that. Every single part of every single scene of every single episode i consider a masterpiece. Even as someone that didn't root for the romance between the leads, i appreciate every part because it is a story about a woman reminiscing about a time in her live she will never be able to recreate. It's an outstanding piece of media and holds up with my top 10 tv shows of all time, not just kdramas. 

Now as the final entry we have an special case of a drama that hasn't ended yet. I know it's kind of cheating but just from the first 10 episodes this drama has become one of the best i have ever seen in my life. I'll change the description of this entry when i finish it to see if my thoughts have change but im pretty confident that it will stay as one of my favorites. This is a show that has touched me deeply with every single one of the stories told. The cinematography has me in awe everytime and the acting is so beautiful it makes me tear up. 

For this drama, i don't need to know how its gonna end cause i fully trust its gonna be a masterpiece. Little Women has become one of the most detailed and impactful dramas i have ever watched and i'm so immerse in the story it's honestly overwhelming but in a good way. The story and relationship between the three sisters is so compelling, the cinematography, the music, the characters and of course the acting. All of that is a 10/10. 

Probably one of the most insane viewing experiences i ever had and one of the most complex yet beautiful historic dramas in the world. I expressed how much i love this show on the review i did on it but all i will say here to sum up my thoughts is that every episode felts like watching an art piece at a museum, an art piece with so much emotion and layers. Truly a one of a kind story.
