*∘✧ rewatch worthy dramas ✧∘*
based on my personal preference, i can't really explain why i like certain dramas even though sometimes they aren't generally as well received by the audience so in other words, a list for me to go back and experience some good old nostalgia ☆╮( ̄ω ̄ヘ)
tbh i just realized most of this is my fav dramas lmao
-
1. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
- #1 for a reason!
- the epitome of what i think a good drama should be like
- all ost tracks are 100/10 and just so beautiful i cry
- why i started stanning lee jongsuk (i really disliked school 2013 so essentially, i ended up disliking lee jongsuk too for a while lmao)
- first suzy drama!!!
- its just so amazing i would rewatch a 1000 times if i could
-
2. Who Are You: School 2015
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
- firstly, my first drama w nam joohyuk!
- secondly, one of the most lit osts of all time!
- pretty fast paced in my opinion, didn't really seem to drag much until the very end
-
3. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
- cast! iu and baekhyun ♡
- medieval korea! everything abt the setting and costumes and all is so nice ahh
- also, my first historical drama!
- watch out for pain sadness and suffering in the second half lmao
-
4. Hello, My Twenties
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
- my favourite friendships
- sooooo relatable especially eunjae personality wise for me, i'm just as awkward
- jinmyung and jaewan ♡
- i have the biggest crush on yina ♡ ♡ ♡
- so grateful this got a s2..... we're still waiting on s3 ????
- we deserve to see jiwon and sungmin go canon on screen
- honestly i could talk about this drama for days
-
5. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
- ok yeah the ending was sucky but the whole drama was so good maybe it balances out? no? ok lol
- but still this is tied for wyws as my fav lee jongsuk drama
- the chemistry between the leads omg
- the villian was so annoying sdhjfsdj
- literally everytime you thought something goes right, 3 additional things go wrong
- so much suspense! the most intense drama i've watched, but felt like i needed a breather if i bingewatched it
- tbh i don't even know what this list is i feel like i'm just ranting lmao
-
6. Marriage, Not Dating
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
- tbh this is one of those dramas where i don't even know why i liked it
- highkey had second lead syndrome, they suited each other and it was so annoying how she ended up choosing the main lead (he warmed up to me somewhat later though)
- THE WEDDING SCENE @ THE END WAS SO FUNNY
- the aunt and mother always spying on the guy (and so not discretely too) was so funny
- most annoying characters became somewhat likeable
- again idk why this is on this list but it is what it is
