Similar to "She Was Pretty" and "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo", this was lighthearted watch. If you're looking for something simple and sweet, this is definitely something to look into! I really enjoyed the messages they conveyed throughout the drama about how looks can affect someone's life and found myself relating to Mi Rae sometimes when it came to her insecurity with relationships and love. I really enjoyed watching her character grow throughout the drama as well. I personally found the emphasis of the criticism towards women looks in particular was well portrayed in this drama. It might have been too harsh, but that's the point. There is that stigma that must be stopped and I find that it was nicely put in this drama. I really enjoyed the adoption of perfume in this drama and how it's a beauty that isn't seen, or something along those lines!

In terms of the acting, it was alright. I love Cha Eun Woo, but his acting was a little flat in this drama and I wasn't sure if it was done on purpose due to his character or if it was him. His emotion lacked and his expressions all looked the same. Personally, I found his character a little creepy when it came to pursuing Mi Rae. Like, they weren't even a couple and he had the nerve to tell Mi Rae not to get drunk because he wanted to be the only one to carry her. That's a little weird and even more so that Mi Rae didn't catch on about his feelings towards her, but I guess that's because her insecurity at the time was telling her otherwise. There were instances when he was angry and there was no raising of his tone or emotion. Nothing. The only time I found his acting genuine was when he smiled. Also the scenes with Mi Rae and Kyung Seok together just felt SLOW. That scene when they had to share one umbrella...the progression, the talking, the walking, it all felt so slow. I felt like it was wasting time. That isn't to say that Eun Woo's acting lacked, there's always room for improvement! I also found it a little weird that Mi Rae, Kyung Seok and Hyun Jung hung out with TA Woo Young, but that might be because of a culture difference? I do wish there was more progression in regards too Kwak Dong Yeon's character! It was probably hinted that Woo Young ends up with Hyun Jung, but I would've loved to see it. Also, they could've elaborated more on Soo A's character too. Overall, I loved the cast, but there was a room for improvement with the acting.

The music was a little weird, but it strangely fit this drama. That audio of someone saying "amazing" in such a weird tone was funny, but I found it unnecessary. Still, it's better to have some music than none. Overall, I would watch it again if I just want a nice easy watch about love, nothing earthshaking or suspenseful. Something to simply life my mood about love and overcoming insecurity and loving thyself. Also, I'm a sucker for the typical archetype of the popular person is attracted to the not-so popular person, love me my rom-com cliché. If you're looking for something different/dramatic, this will not be the one for you. However, if you love the typical rom-com cliche storyline, please give it a watch!
