Too many things happening

Literally what happened in this episode I'M SO CONFUSED. We got to meet So behind the mask and Soo realised he's Gwangjong and things get so complicated, and now I remembered what happens with the 8th Prince (it's been almost 4 years since I watched this, I mean), I can't wait to get to episode 11, WE ALL KNOW WHY

JUST WHAT I NEEDED

Finally everything is getting better, specially the relationship of the main leads, I really couldn't feel any chemistry at all, and I still can't, but this episode gave me some hope, also at the end, when So is walking down the street and everyone is bowing to him, I felt so happy.

Incredible

There are no words for me to describe how I felt watching this. From the bday party to the 4th Prince taking off his mask, it was just so amazing to watch, and IU singing, please what else do I need in the world?

Didn't see this coming

Everything that happened here was so unexpected, from beginning to end, everything happened so quickly and lots of things happened so I was kinda confused (that's why I gave it 9.5), but despite I was very confused it was just so exciting to watch and I'm SO looking forward to watch the next episode!

The best so far

Everything definitely improved during this episode, it was both so funny and so heartbreaking to watch. Quite memorable I could say.

SECOND LEAD SYNDROME

I'M GETTING SO ATTACHED TO THE SECOND LEAD ISTG THIS NEVER EVER HAPPENS TO ME. Everything is just beautiful and keeps getting better, I'm so looking forward to the main couple though.

Raon's dance!

Now that Raon knows what the Flower Scholar's actual identity is, their relationship becomes stronger as she spends more time with him. At the same time, her relationship with Yoonsung is also getting stronger as she knows he can see through her and that she's not actually a man. We also have the banquette for the King, in which Raon saves the Prince from a bad reputation and decides to risk herself by dressing as a girl and dance during the final act. Needless to say her dancing was beautiful, the episode peaks right at the end when Yoonsung helps Raon to hide from the Prince, who's currently looking for her.

Yi Young!

BROOOOO!!!!!! The relationship between Raon and the Crown Prince is getting stronger. But the highlight of this episode was definitely Yi Young's relationship with his father, the King. "Yes, it was not my choice to become the Crown Prince. But deciding what kind of Crown Prince I become, isn't that my choice, Your Majesty?" Yi Young confronts his father asking him what he's afraid of being the King, who rules Joseon. And it ends with Yi Young understanding his father's heart, that he wants to protect him and his family. Really heartwarming.

Romcom at its finest!

This is just amazing! A lot of scenes got cut from this episode, and I can assure you the Director's Cut version is way better. The bromance starts in this episode right away and it just keeps getting better, also the friendship between Young, Raon and Byungyeon is the best thing in the world.

Interesting

We're getting to know the main male lead more and I'm all up for it! And please, the way his mom treats him is kinda breaking my heart I:(

Getting better!

We're getting to know the characters more as episodes advance and I hate to say it but I'm getting second male lead syndrome, and that rarely ever happens to me. While it has some aspects that kinda make it a romcom, it is very well balanced!!! I'm liking it! And the ending of this episode was so out of this world! Great!

Good introduction

I hesitated for almost 4 years to rewatch this drama because it broke me to the point in which I felt physical pain, my heart died with this, okay? But finally I gave it a chance. I really didn't remember a lot about this and I didn't remember how much I missed So and Soo. My next reviews will be me ignoring the fact I already watch this bc I want to pretend it's the first time to see if it hurts any less :D Episode 11 come to me!

Way to go!

Just one episode and a lot of things happened, yet it's not too much and therefore it's not confusing. We got to know all the main 3 characters of the story and all of them are so unique. The acting is brilliant, Bogum portrays the Crown Prince perfectly, I can't imagine someone else as Yi Young. Yoojung being our sageuk fairy, she's of course doing an amazing job. And Jinyoung, as I was indeed worried bc he doesn't have lots of acting experience, he really is doing a great job so far! Incredible first episode!!!
