Sheer enjoyment
I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy . Fantasy is the key word in this drama . It is not meant to be realistic . It is light, funny , entertaining with a dose of murder mystery thrown in .The ending left me smiling and pleased and charmed with the outcome . The two women actors playing the part of Min Jin were wonderful to watch , trying to cope with their respective situations , capable and full of stamina and desire to do well .
An unusual story , well executed and played by all the cast . Choi Jin hyuk very attractive and convincing in the role .

I thought I was going to be bored , instead I binge watch this series , sitting on the edge of my seat unable to let go .A deep provoking series in the behind the scenes of politics . Since we are heading for elections in my country and other countries around the world , it is fascinating to see how fraudulent the world of politics can be or is, and how the electorate is being manipulated through fake news, the Internet and AI , and good pretence . Big money controls it all , nothing much to do with democracy , more with ideology to profit those in power and to sell a dream to the people , knowing full well that once elected they will do whatever serves their interests and not those of the people . But justice prevails, good wins against evil, truth against lies and one feels a breath of fresh air beginning to chase the rot . The script is superb , the acting stupendous , and the whole series moves at a fast pace ! The open ending ( slightly mysterious ) leads itself to a second series ( ?) .

Not the best of K Drama
Cute , mildly enjoyable , light hearted , easy to watch if you have nothing better to watch , but far too long .The teenage years dragged on to the point that SoJu Yeon ( good in Lovestruck in the city ) became quite boring although kind hearted and well meaning . As to Kim Yo Han he never really grew up , he looked the same at 30 as he was at 15 . They did not managed to age him or make him look more mature . And then the story jumps and the adult years went at a pace without any real character development . The reason why she broke up with him was badly managed and I lost patience with the whole lot of them but continued watching to see how they would end it . Only after 23 episodes most of the issues were tied up . so not the best of dramas but some good acting from the cast and the dance at the wedding was probably the best scene of the series !!

Thoroughly enjoyable !
I did not know anything about this drama but I am glad I watched it till the end . I really liked , the issues raised are topical and shows the difficulties single women can meet when they feel their biological clock begins to tick. Marriage ? Sperm banks ? Bringing up a child as a single mother ? The drama might have been light hearted , comic at times , in looking at these issues ,but respectful and entertaining , The ending was a happy one and all the cast excellent .Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Best of the Best !
I came to this drama not knowing what to expect . The title did not inspire me , but I am so please I watched it . I enjoyed it thoroughly , the story , the acting , the development . As a fan of the Korean Drama -Tomorrow - I am always interested in stories of the After Life and karma . And this has all of it presented in a subtle and compelling story . It is moving , endearing , funny at times, thought provoking for sure , and comforting . When we say to our loved ones " Rest in Peace " how convinced are we that they will rest in Peace ? I am glad Cha Yu-ri went back after her 49 days on earth , I am pleased she managed to say a proper Goodbye to her family and friends and her beloved daughter , the daughter who has grown into a lovely student in the mist of her loving family . A nice surprise
Considering this drama was made in 2018 it is remarkably topical . It is also interesting for its debate on marriage , living together , and divorce . I found it captivating for that reason as fewer and fewer women in Korea want to get married and the divorce rate is still quite high . None of the characters are particularly likeable but they are ordinary people living their lives the best they can , juggling work , relationship , money , friendship like most of us , some hiding secrets which are eventually revealed . Tempers can run high , patience can run dry, and looking after oneself becomes a priority . It draws you in , because you think you can do better than them , but they take back control in the end , and all's well that ends well !Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Fantasy
I did like this drama in spite of the inconsistencies of the story : a young girl surviving 15 years on a deserted island ! I could have put up with 3 / 5 years at the most . She seemed almost comfortable there , had a hammock , befriended a seagull , built herself a fire ( presumably rubbing two sticks together ! ) ate wild potatoes .... her castaway days do not hold scrutiny .She is rescued by a drone and her life begins again or rather continues where she left off .
in spite of this , the second half is interesting , gripping at times , beautifully acted by all the cast , accompanied by lovely music and songs . All's well that ends well , and the future is assured and bright . Worth watching ( only once for me ) , but easily forgotten . However at times I thought Park Eun bin had forgotten which drama she was in and traits of Attorney Woo crept back in the way she walked , and in her awkwardness .

A wonderful surprise
I wanted to watch it because of Rowoon whom I had seen in other dramas before and whose performance I always admired .The beginning of Destined with you is slow and Rowoon 's part of an upright , haughty and stiff lawyer , who 's always sour looking did not inspire confidence . I thought it might be a rom com but there was little evidence of that . But then the plot developed into a thrilling , engaging , intense love story , with suspense , compelling supernatural mystery , which had me on edge until the end when everything is very well tied up together . it has a happy ending and I would say well deserved for the main characters after all they went through ! I would watch it again .

A wonderful drama
I did not know this was a remake but I enjoyed it thoroughly ! It is brilliant , well acted with some amazing photographic scenes and a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat . It never falters , keeps a good pace and your interest . A most enjoyable Back to the Future series . The cast is wonderful especially Jeon Yeo-been who transforms from a 36 year old woman into an awkward teenager through skills and good acting . Three characters time travelled but the story never loses its focus until it is all resolved . There won't be any going back into the past . The past is safe . The future remains in the future and the ending predicts a forthcoming romance . The theme song is beautiful .Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Not just a crash course in Maths
I really enjoyed this series . It ties well with " Green Mothers' club " which I watched before hand . The intensity of the competition and pressure put on Students by their parents to over perform is quite topical at the moment an well documented . Korean school children are pressured to be the best , to be at the top , as money can buy the best tutors and a place at the best academies .Going to the top Seoul Universities is the ultimate goal of every parent for their children . Students are often burnt out by the time they reach uni . They will have worked three times as hard as their American counterparts for example . Mothers not only pressure their children but also teachers by the sound of it .They are a formidable force but lack empathy and understanding .Having money or making money does not make them happy neither at home with their partners or their children . So it was refreshing to see another more compassionate side with flesh and blood characters who develop to become better people than when they started . I loved the series and the acting was superb . Congrats to all the cast .

Behind every star
Having been a fan of " Call my Agent " ( English title ) the French series , I was interested in seeing a Korean version or adaptation of the series . I was not disappointed . I loved it , the story , the pace , the characters , the script and the acting . It is more moderate than the French one , less provocative , but all the central points , the pressure , the tension , survival of the company , dealing with actors , of the story remain , placed in a different setting and a different culture .Each character is well portrayed , well acted , well developed .
Short for a K drama , it holds its own throughout .

Good character development and all characters rather friendly likeable and well intended .
Th murder story had me puzzled until its denouement . Yoon Park frozen statuesque attitude was heavy . I felt like shaking him . It left me cold and irritated . That side of the story could have been sped up .
On the whole a good series which I will watch again .

Another great series
I thought I was not going to like it . I did not like the abrasive behaviour of the new recruit at Brain PR company until I came to understand what her motive was . She was still grieving from the suicide of her sister which to her was so much out of character . No explanation was given to her grieving family except that of depression . Chae Ro was on a mission to discover the truth behind her sister's suicide and to reveal the abominable and depraved character of the company CEO whom she thought had a hand in her death . The drama reveals the reactions ,consequences and ravages that such a death can cause to family and to the workplace . The ambitions and guilt of all the people involved trying to cover up the truth to save themselves and their company .I was hooked once again .
The shy boss whom she thought had a hand in her sister's death could not have been more likeable . Watching him struggle she begins to understand him better and romance has an opening . She had a new mission to help him come out of his shell . It is absolutely well done , moving and touching to see him become a new person so to speak doing all the right things to help people who work for him as well as helping them become confident and caring . Yeon Woo-jin is fantastic in the role of the introvert boss . A great show , a great cast and good soundtrack . What is there not to like ??

I did enjoy this series . Although improbable as it may be the story line is exciting and compels you to watch till the end .A very good script and the ever true problem of facing one's past , one past self is important to acknowledge . The past should not dominate the future , nor control it , but coming to terms with the past and finding the courage to apologise for past mistakes is the noble thing to do .
Beautifully acted by all the cast , This is an enjoyable , uplifting , funny in parts , and deeply moving in others series well worth watching .
