Although CofaBM has a boy kid lead & LUtS has a girl kid lead both kids express the need to belong to a strong male figure. Neither adult male character is thrilled @ taking on someone else's offspring, but love & acceptance grow. LUtS had me in tears....highly recommend.

Both set during Korean War. Both have a rag tag team of characters that learn to get along despite being enemies.

Both during Korean War & highlight the innocence among the hatred, fear & bloodshed that war facilitates.

Chinese remake of "Blind." Preferred Korean version, but Chinese version good too. I haven't seen Japanese version yet. Handicapped FL fights a killer in order to save her own life & that of another.
