Very Enlightening
I’ve read some of the negative reviews and I guess I didn’t see what they saw.I was very impressed with the FL from start to finish. She showed all the emotions, all the attitude, all the despair, all the determination, never came across as too over the top, ever. Loved her.
Some characters were a little much at times, but those behaviors fit those characters.
I enjoyed the story, though it was often quite disheartening, and really enjoyed the well executed plot twists. Could have had a slightly better ending, but I’ve endured much worse ones - this was fine.
I would recommend and would watch again.

Emotional Reflection of Life
This is not a romcom, in my opinion. This is a romance-melodrama with some nice touches of well done humor. It’s far more than the slice-of-life I was anticipating. I’m trying hard to not give anything away. I’ve seen some very touching stories before, and even shed a few tears - but I’ve never felt this emotionally invested, with lasting after-affects, as I’ve experienced with QoT. No, not everything was perfect, but neither is life, so I found this drama to be perfectly imperfect. This drama brings powerful performances from the entire cast, a poignant storyline, breathtaking scenery and cinematography throughout, an outstanding OST, and brings out personal reflection about life and love.I consider a show rewatchable if I want to see it again “sometime soon”. With this, I’m ready to rewatch it right now, have played the last 15 minutes at least 7 times already, and have the last song on repeat on Spotify. I NEVER do this. Kdrama endings are often cute, sometimes rewarding, but usually dissatisfying for me. This one has some controversy, but for me, it was complete.

Just Too Much
I’m American, so it’s not like I’ve never seen all the R-rated stuff in nearly everything produced over here. But I’ve had enough of all that, which is why I mostly watch Kdramas now.I’m unhappy to see any westernization of the genre, but I’m not saying that these types of dramas can’t be made. I AM saying that anything with the degree of depicted animal cruelty and disturbingly vivid forced intercourse needs a substantially stronger warning about content than I understood from the rather tame description.
Yes, I know that shows put a little blurb top left at the beginning to list the possibly offensive stuff to the audience, but with Kdramas, I’ve never felt like I had to actually pay much attention to those. Guess that’s changing…
