So if you haven't figured it out yet this is part 2. I haven't read the manga but with my anime experience I'm quite sure if I had read it I would've loved it more than this movie. None the less I loved it all. It seemed a bit rushed at the end so the prequel is still my fav...so far but I'm still not disappointed. Luckily there's still more to the story and I can't wait. The acting, of course, is pretty on point. For someone who doesn't wanna kill anyone the action still gets handled well. The music was pretty awesome, especially the closer I decided to even look it up. I'll definitely see this series through till the end. On a side note... Historical Fan
First thing I gotta say is even though I haven't read the manga I was very impressed. As always, there's probably more plot detail in the manga but you can still follow this action packed plot very well. Ratings are good and the sequels alone should tell you it's worth the watch. If you're a Japanese history fan or even a weapons fan in general, you'll enjoy the samurai/new age theme. I especially loved Sagara. He brought the fresh and fun humor and reminds me a bit of Kenpachi from the Bleach series lol Anyway, I was worried about an adaptation but this movie was great! Honestly, I think as long as adaptations don't get white-washed they're usually pretty good lol Enjoy...Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Tragically Perfect
I really don't know exactly where to begin. It was all so perfect yet so horrible! If you're looking for a happy ending TURN BACK! Song Joong nailed his role flawlessly. How little he spoke, he was still able to show so much emotion and it all pulled at my heartstrings. The plot was amazing, until you get to the end. I have a love hate relationship with this movie cause with my common sense I feel like you should never abandon something you love, human or animal. I almost cried but I held it when I realized my frustration with the ending. Wonderful movie none the less and recommend the watch. My re-watch value is the same as watching Titanic...I gotta be in the mood to cry lolVond je deze recentie nuttig?

Yet another film Gong Yoo sucks me into! If you're looking for something with a happy ending you couldn't be in a worse place. Being based on a true story hit me in my feels harder than any other "True Story" movie has. It was over all amazing and the cast nailed their roles perfectly. This movie will send you through the ultimate rollercoaster ride, you're going to be sad and you're going to be angry without a doubt . It gives you a very vivid clue of how corrupt officials are and just how much power the money sign has on everyone. I'm pretty much never in the mood to cry so that's why I personally wouldn't watch it again but being a Gong Yoo fan I HAD to have this under my belt. Even if it wasn't based on a true story I admit I still wouldn't watch it again. As a parent it hits different because even children without disabilities have a hard time proving things especially of such importance like what this film covers. They tend to be accused of being dramatic, liars or attention seekers and this movie will show the dark side of it all...Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

If you can't handle some drug use and hardcore violence and gore this is NOT the movie for you. If you enjoy epic fight scenes this will be right up your alley. Movies like this never fail to impress me! It might make you cringe a bit but it's worth it. It had an amazing plot with a tragic past. I enjoyed every minute of it and before I realized it, it was over. I would definitely re-watch if I'm feeling hardcore. lol I love that this movie will leave you for yourself to decide if it was Revenge or Justice.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Save Yourself!
As we all know, a S2 can be risky business (especially BL) because content gets thrown in just to kept the sinking ship of a story floating. I dreaded watching most of this but stuck it out in hopes every plot hole at least became ONE plot hole, but no. I wanna spoil it for you and give you the run down that I spent 12 episodes suffering through, but I won't. All I'll say is this season was a flop and S1 was better by far! The first season was kinda something I'd recommend to a newbie but not if it leads to this pile of a S2. The only thing I can compliment on is the visuals! Everyone's as pale as their bed sheets, but I'll let that slide lol I had a real tough time with this one but maybe it'll be different for youEnjoy...

First of All...
So for starters I gotta say my favourite part was....EVERYTHING! OMG idk what I'm going to do with myself now that I won't have this on my Friday night schedule. I was Obsessed with S1 and S2 is no exception. Yet again the ONLY downfall is how short it is so they obviously have to squeeze in a lot of detail in a short time frame. But don't get it twisted...they somehow manage to keep you entranced with everything from visuals to heartache. I think I liked S1 more but it's well worth the watch no matter what. I NEED MORE!!!!And on a sidenote... I'm in love with the Taiwanese "L" lmao
There's more to come so let's enjoy...

Honestly, I gave this a higher rating than recommended. I'm here only for Gameplay even though he only had a short part I gave the rest of the cast a chance and boy was it a train wreck! I got bored countless times to the point I would surf social media while this became background noise, but I'm no quitter so I kept with it. The storyline was stretched so bad it was definitely bursting at the seems. It was quite clear most of the cast were new actors so some of it seemed stiff. It's not all about physical contact but I gotta say if that's your fav part to a BL you're gonna be disappointed here. The ending was pretty decent (for someone who kept losing interest in the series). The "side couple" got almost ZERO screen time so I can't even say I enjoyed the side couple. Wouldn't recommend since it was just too bland. I wish the actors luck in the future and hope this was a start to a good career.Enjoy...

If you like cute fluffy romance LOOK NO FURTHER! This show is a bit typical and basic of a K- Drama Romance Fantasy, which is why my re-watch value is average, but it's still really enjoyable. Visuals all around and I was really happy the side couples got a lot of love with screen time. I usually end up liking the side couples stories more, but I was satisfied with both SC and MC. The story itself was different and there's a pretty decent amount of humor to ALMOST balance the romance. It's so sweet it might give you a cavity! LolEnjoy...

Math Lovers Unite!
So if you're one of those weird people who love math...this is the show for you! lol I probably would've enjoyed this show more if I got some of the math references BUT I've never liked math. Anyway, getting past the math talk isn't hard and this series was pretty decent overall. This poor series has been through a lot starting with it began in the middle of the quarantine part of the pandemic which caused the show to be pushed back several months. Since I liked the first few eps and enjoyed the fact that the cast had some relatively fresh new faces, I held on to the end through months of no eps. However, due to the wait and anticipation it caused, I had higher expectations for the ending but I'm glad I still wasn't disappointed. It didn't have the cute fluffiness I was hoping for and even though I won't recommend as a favourite I won't dismiss either. Math is awful but this series wasn't...Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Ugh, where to begin?! First, keep in mind these are new actors, which is made quite apparent very quickly. I'm no quitter, so I forced myself through this. It wasn't just the acting. Everything was bland and thrown together. In true Thai BL drama fashion, I loved the side couple more than the MC. There weren't much for visuals and the MCs eyebrows gave me anxiety and the other MC looks well into his 30's. I hope each actor grows from this experience and maybe one day they'll get more popularity, but until then I wouldn't even recommend this! The storyline was a dark abyss of...I'm not even sure. Fitting Title
Won't take you long to figure out why it's called My Mate Match and I think it's pretty clever lolAnyway, so off the top of my experienced BL watching head, I can't think of a drama with a similar storyline so basically that means it's not too cliché/overused. It's pretty clear these boys are new to acting/BL but that's perfectly fine to me. The ending was pretty satisfying and even though it looks like they could try to squeeze a S2, I find it totally unnecessary so hopefully they leave the ending up to the viewers imagination. It got a little boring a few times and I saw a couple scenes coming from a mile away but overall it was decent. I'd recommend to a BL newbie.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but I think I found it. I really enjoyed this but, something's missing....not sure what it is though.Anyway, this is a gently used storyline but the MC chemistry seemed all the way there! Visuals for miles, and for once I can't decide which "couple" I like most (even if they didn't get enough screen time). I can't wait for S2 cause there's plenty of unresolved love, lust and jealousy to settle. I'd recommend to a BL newbie as it's not too cliché or have sexual references. It's kinda mellow all the way through. Simple and Sweet!

Fluent in F Bombs
Don't let the short amount of eps fool you... this is binge watching gold! I was born in a military community and yeah half the corpse is just pricks. As we all know, it is mandatory for South Korean men to enlist, but we don't know the mental and physical abuse that goes on. Just like at school where everyone knows but no one does anything, this series highlights the darkness that is the military. I like when shows tell a different story with each episode and D.P. is no exception. Everything is tied together with plenty of bloody punches, heart wrenching moments and spunky comedy. There's enough action to satisfy even the most intense adrenalin junkie. There's also quite a few well known actors in this.The ending had me a little lost but I think it's kinda an open ending BUT WAIT...
*hint: after the credits is another ending...much more brutal and sadly convincing of reality.

So I'm not really sure how I ended up here but it was short and I had time lol If this started as a novel I PRAY it's better than this. Idk how to explain it but, it wasn't horrible yet it wasn't good either. Reminder: It's Chinese so it's been watered down to barely above bromance (I was impressed with that much). The story had potential but somehow fell face first flat. It wasn't the acting, I literally think it's because it was short and Chinese based. (I know it sounds rude, but any BL fan knows China lowers everything to Bromance). I agree with the overall rating of this series.Enjoy...
