Episode 3 doesn't have much development and simply displays on screen what the web novel supposedly was written/drawn like. There are minor adaptations to guide the actors into a screenplay, but aside from that, I can just picture the web novel as it is by watching this.
A very clear proof of it is that the episode is shorter than 10min and the remaining - and precious, I dare to say - minutes after the episode finishes only has flashes of what's to come mixed with NGs, the last ones are always fun to watch, but in a drama so short, time is very precious to tell a good story, I'm not saying it supposed to be rushed - that's a no-no, but they could do so much better with that time at the end of this episode. I'm kind of disappointed.

I have the feeling that the drama is much better for those who read the web novel, fans of the web novel mostly.
But I admit that in space of 10min must be complicated to develop a good episode for a drama that only has 5 episodes, so despite all the things that might be bothersome about it, the drama knows what it is, overreactive and all, and doesn't try to step out of its lane - too early to say that, but so far so good.
For what it is, Aftermath is nice enough up 'till now.
