Emotion. Emotions. Emotional.
Prison Playbook makes you think leaps and bounds about the society of the world which has been structured into the modern day. Okay, well, maybe it's not that deep, but it could be on the perspective. An all-star cast and the chemistry that goes along with it create a spectacular story which will open your hearts and at least open your mind into having a conversation to yourself about the real world. Maybe not ALL prisoners are bad people. The OST was perfect, it included songs from all different genres and was placed in perfect appropriateness when in-line with scene selection. The rewatch value may be a little high, but thanks to lockdown it has an advantage. Plus, although the episodes are roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes long, it really doesn't feel that way.
I suggest everyone to watch Prison Playbook - that is, of course, if they like amazing dramas.

Biggest plot twist I think I have ever seen, I honestly which English television shows could think of something so great! Acting is phenomenal and each and every character you will gain a strong opinion on. I was familiar with a few actors/actresses before watching Stranger and some I haven't been so familiar on, but they all work so great together I have to admit this is perhaps the greatest cast ensemble too!
I may be living under a rock but I believe the second series has been confirmed? If not then make another season!! I could name so many events that could happen in the next one it legitimately makes me so excited. Stranger is a must watch show!

Just let the story fold out and you will simply love this.
I have to give props to everyone here. The story in Doctor Prisoner is constructed to an absolute masterpiece that it makes me believe this is someone's literal life work. The acting brought to the table was in a different class. The OST was addictive that it made me think non-stop about Doctor Prisoner. This show is so close to perfection, it's magical. While the story may seem either a little confusing or slow at the start, the amount of thickness and plot really strengthens up to be really complex, but you still understand everything (and if there is a little something you may find confusing within the realms of the story, you'll most likely know sooner rather than later in a handy little flashback!).
All in all, Doctor Prisoner is great, and I'm glad there is a second season (I'm saying this based on the fact that there is a page named 'Doctor Prisoner 2' on MDL. If not, sad face. :(

Don't get me wrong, it's not all negative, as the 40 minutes of episodes didn't feel like they were dragging at all. I'm just disappointed that the opportunity of a great premise wasn't seized as well as it should have. Plus, what the hell was that ending? Overall, good show but could have been WAY better.

Slow
One The Woman is a drama that has an extremely slow place, doesn't always make sense, and can also be difficult to follow at certain points. However, there were a few glimpses spread scarcely around that showed its' true potential, an interesting, fun and easy-to-follow drama... but then these scenes/moments were followed by an either an extremely cringe scene or the forced romance. This story did not need any romance whatsoever, and most of the comedy either (it reminds me of the drama 'Vincenzo' in this way, i.e. if they had made this more serious, scrapped the romance and comedy, this would have been much better - the difference however is that the romance and comedy in Vincenzo was at least tolerable, whereas here it was hard to watch).I did quite like the majority of characters, and I did like the majority of acting, but again, there were a certain few main characters (I won't name specific names as they are human beings after all) who really did hamper the enjoyment of this drama and their skills, for whatever reason... well.
Few definite positives are from the decent OST, editing team, theme song and opening, and the action from the stunt crew/characters and its' choreography was really nice, too.
Also to note, the final 4 episodes are probably the strongest out of all the episodes, and I did consider dropping this at points. Am I glad I didn't drop this? In a way, because the final 4 episodes were a definite improvement, and I did actually enjoy these episodes from start to end without being bored.

Nice Surprise
While it did take me longer than what I had expected for me to become fully immersed in the story of The Good Detective, the wait was worthwhile. A great ensemble of cast members with a substantially thick and interesting storyline eventually made me think of the drama nonstop and 24/7! While I do admit that the story at certain points did become a little confusing, you will eventually understand with either flashbacks or something of the kind. The OST is really underrated too. I found myself humming the theme song when I played each episode and the twist and turns of the plot definitely made The Good Detective a very decent watch. If you like detective dramas this is for you. If you don't normally watch detective dramas, then I'm not sure if this would be your best bet, but who knows? Still try it!

It was great, until...
Don't Disturb Me Farming was actually a really nice journey. Until the final few episodes, which changed the story drastically. This is because of the introduction of many rushed points that were also either irrelevant or bad. It's one of those where you think to yourself: which is more important, the journey or the destination?I really liked the farming aesthetic and it has made me want to watch more farming-based dramas and web series. There was this sort of calmness that I liked with it. The cinematography therefore was something that I enjoyed. Something I didn't enjoy too much were the characters. The acting and cast were good for the most part, but the personality traits of the characters, most of them anyway, were not so good.
This is a difficult one to rate as at the start I enjoyed it so much, but now that I've watched all of it, I just feel almost dissatisfied?
On the plus side, this has one of the strongest OSTs I have heard in a long time.

Started and ended well, but the middle...
Mirror of the Witch is one of those dramas that started and ended superbly, but had a few episodes in the middle that were quite boring and slow, meaning it was a slight chore to get re-invested into the story in the later stages. However, thankfully, I was re-invested into the story and I felt quite emotional with the last episode. However, this does not mean the story is perfect. It's not. It's quite confusing at times. However, when it wasn't confusing, it was a great story. The acting was perfect, and whilst I was unfamiliar with some of the main and supporting cast, I instantly became a fan of all. The OST was really nice to listen to. The rewatch value is just low because of the aforementioned 'slow and boring' episodes in the middle (I want to say roughly episodes 9 to 14, but I can't guarantee if it was all of these or a combination of these).I really liked the cinematography and costumes in this drama, and the SFX weren't too bad either. The fighting scenes left a little to be desired, alongside the editing, and there was one minor plot hole I unfortunately managed to find in the last episode. However, I have noticed quite a lot of the hate that this drama gets is unjustified, in my personal opinion. This drama isn't perfect, but it's definitely not bad. It could be argued that the FL could have been older, but surely the casting team would have casted an older FL if they desired to show physical romance. I personally preferred it like this, where the romance was basically all hinted or done in non-physical ways.
If it wasn't for the boring middle, I'm confident I would have rated this higher. I still recommend people to watch this, but are 'in the know' of the slowness of the middle.

Awesome!
Let Me Be Your Knight has the right amount of different genres (drama, music, comedy, romance) that blend together nicely, compared to other dramas that try and do these things but end up mashing them together in the worst way possible. I think what really helped to enjoy this was that it was familiar type of storyline but done in it's own unique way, alongside some unexpected plot twists which made the story more unpredictable than expected. I am also a genuine fan of every song in the OST. Since the drama is heavily focused on music, I was expecting to not like a song or two since there would be many songs. However, not only did I like all the songs involved, I LOVED all the songs involved! Also, even though episodes were roughly 1 hour long, most felt a maximum of 20 minutes. When it comes to the negatives, I would say the main negative would be the acting of a couple of supporting/guest characters. I don't like naming names as I am talking about human being after all, but some performances left an eyesore. Another negative would be the directing at times, especially with positioning. I don't usually notices things like this but there were definitely a few scenes where the positions of characters made absolutely no sense.
However, I would definitely recommend this drama despite the flaws. After all, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives, and for a drama of this type (music genre based), it was a nice pleasant surprise to watch. Let 'Let Me Be Your Knight' into your life! You won't regret it!

Great, but I think a different direction could have made it perfect.
Psychopath Diary is a great drama that successfully manages to blend thriller, drama and comedy together, which is something more difficult to do than it seems! The story was complex, but everything made sense and was interesting throughout. The cast was sublime and acting from each and every cast member was at least on the 'great' standard. The OST? Addictive and full of amazing tunes that I will definitely be listening to in my spare time! The re-watch value is higher than I expected, to be honest. I think I decided to rate it higher than what I usually do because I absolutely loved the bonds that the different characters made, alongside the wackiness of the story from start to finish. So, you are probably wandering why I rated this a drama a 9 out of 10 instead of a 10 out of 10, right? Well, here's when I have to dive into a little bit of a spoiler-filled reason, so if you don't want to be spoiled, just watch this drama anyway because I recommend it no matter what!
The two negatives that made me rate this lower than what I wanted: the 'stupid' or 'illogical' police or police procedures. Normally I don't notice these sorts of things, or if I do, it is usually months after watching said drama. However, for me anyways, it stuck out like a sore thumb. The other thing isn't a negative per say but it's a slight twist of the story that I thought was going to happen, but didn't. I was expecting when Seo In Woo saw that Yook Dong Shik had one of his diaries, he would actually think that diary was not his, but it belonged to Yook Dong Shik, therefore thinking that he had found his 'murdering soulmate' i.e. someone exactly like him. I was then expecting a villainous bromance to evolve from this where they help each other murder etc. and that it would eventually stop with the help of FL and romance. I know this idea sounds a little loose, and it's hard to describe exactly what it is, but hopefully you understand! (I don't usually like thriller and romance mixed in, but I would've liked a romantic hint in the last episode).
Anyways, I totally recommend Psychopath Diary! A definite 'must watch'!

Binge-worthy, but..
Air City has an interesting premise: a drama based in an airport-setting with characters that have different personalities (the story is confusing so it's best not to explain too much, but although the story is confusing at times, at other times it is very fun and enjoyable - I would say the story is stronger in the first half than the second half of the drama however). I was a fan of the stunts and perhaps this played a part of me giving the re-watch value a higher score than I predicted?Story does lack that little bit of logic - e.g. if you are a secret agent, you wouldn't let that not be kept a secret etc. However, it was interesting enough to kinda turn a blind eye on the lack-of-logic.
Acting was good from nearly all main/supporting roles.
Casting... was great! I was unfamiliar with the FL but I liked her. The two ML's I am familiar with however and they performed greatly once again, no surprise here.
OST was amazing.
All in all, this is more of a drama you should watch instead of read me explaining everything about it.
Do I recommend Air City? Yes. Interesting premise, characters, stunt/fighting scenes. Does lack that bit of logic and the second half is weaker than the first, but I still recommend it!

Solid
Divorce Attorney Shin is a solid drama that has some great performances from all cast members, great characters, some surprising minor twists to the main story, and addictive OST. I can always tell when a drama is enjoyable when the episodes of 1 hour feel more like 15-20 minutes. The story got me hooked in, and I also liked the majority of the 'side stories'. I also really liked the bromance here especially, and the rivalry between the ML and the villainess. There are a few things I weren't too keen on. The main thing was a personal pet peeve that most probably didn't catch. But I didn't like the way the children spoke, i.e. they spoke like the adults. I know kids can be smart etc. but the words that came out of their mouth were sometimes so over-philosophical or logical that it took the immersion out temporarily and made me think 'What did he just say? How does he know such a word?'. The other thing I wasn't to keen on was one of the story arcs for one of the female characters, although this didn't hamper my enjoyment too much in the end.
I also wanted to note I was a big fan of the direction. The director knows their craft well. It's a very rare occasion for me to praise directing so well but honestly I think I could probably put this drama as the best directed.
All in all, I do recommend this. My review does look like it should be higher than an 8.5/10. However, despite it's greatness, personally, I didn't get as emotionally attached as I do, otherwise I guess this would have been a 10/10 for me. However, this can easily be a 10/10 for you! So what are you waiting for? Go and watch this!

Kinda boring, but it does have a few things going for it.
Perhaps I was a little too optimistic when I found this. I mean, if you know me, you know how much I love the sports genre in dramaland. Love On Green necessarily isn't bad, it has many of the right ingredients in the recipe to produce something tasty and memorable. Good production value, good OST, good cast. However, it also lacks the basic fundamentals such as a good story, good characters and good script. I think the biggest reason for this was the length of the episodes, some were hovering around the five-minute mark. So, in that short space of time, I had imagined much more action, especially around the sport: golf, and the golf competition. In terms of the amount of sport coverage however, I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, the focus on romance was a little too much at points, but it showed enough golf to leave me satisfied. I was happy that scenes regarding golf were done in different ways: such as the different types of gold played. Screen golf, golf via practicing at a driving range, and then playing 'proper' golf as I like to put it. I also liked the golf-related scenes in the office environment which I always think is needed in this genre (instead of working at work, playing sports when playing sports - obviously I understand why this is done, but this is dramaland, not real life!).
Do I recommend this? It's not a definite yes, but if you like watching short episodes at roughly 4 to 8 minutes long, then I think you would like this.

Short but Satisfying
Monstrous is a short but satisfying drama that is a nice breath of freshness, although the strengths of the drama necessarily didn't come from the story. Instead, it came from a number of different factors: characters, acting, OST, re-watch value, SFX, cinematography. First of all, characters. There were actually quite a few characters, more than what I had expected. All were greatly written and acted. Everyone played their part; it was a great group effort. The OST is small but it's probably going to be high on my all-favourites list, all songs were spectacular and addictive, and were placed perfectly in scenes or elsewhere. Re-watch value is way higher than normal. Even though these were 30-ish minute episodes, I had so much fun with this that honestly the episodes felt only 10 minutes long, and it made me want to keep on watching, it made me so invested. SFX and cinematography in these kinds of dramas can depend dramatically, and thankfully this was a great example of these both.A few negatives would be the story, directing and dialogue. First of all, the script and the directing were not that good if I am being honest. It felt clanky, awkward, amateurish. If the cast hadn't have performed so well, this would have even more easily had showed, and my overall rating would definitely be lower. The story necessarily is not a massive negative. I enjoyed it, but there were a few things that I wasn't too sure about, a few things I think could have been written better.
All in all, I recommend people to watch Monstrous. It's a great drama when you want to have a "stupid day", i.e. a brilliant drama that involves crazy and spooky sh*t. Think less about logic and just enjoy the crazy ride!

Wasn't what I initially expected, but...
The Sound of Magic wasn't what I had initially expected when I started watching it, and to be honest, for the first couple of episodes, it was because I wasn't a fan. However, what I realised, was that I had a very pessimistic and thoughtless viewpoint. This drama, to be enjoyed, must be viewed with a drizzle, sprinkle and then big wallop of imagination, imagination, imagination! Even with this, I wasn't still realising the great morals. The morals of The Sound of Magic are the reason why this has scored higher than what I had initially anticipated, too. Morals such as: happiness is most important in life, your problems don't go away until you fix them for yourself, to not take life too seriously. There are more but if I listed all of them, this review would be way too long. The stronger points of this drama include acting, cinematography and characters. I was initially surprised at the number of characters that do get involved since there is only 6 episodes, but all characters are very well written, and all are relevant and add to the story. Cinematography is absolutely stunning (along with SFX now that I think about it). It's like when a daydream comes to life, I guess. Great cast, around half I had known before and did an exceptional job once again, whilst the other half of the cast that I previously hadn't known about, did great too! I am eager to see them in more dramas.
Never stop believing. The Sound of Magic, thank you for reminding me.
