That beep beep part when it scenes are getting intense will forever be engraved in my mind. This drama is highly recommended.

I've heard good things about this drama that's why I gave it a try and I wasn't disappointed. Apparently this drama was a sleeper hit? I'm not sure if what I've heard is true but it was really popular with the international audience.STORY:
Imagine a world that is governed by women? Yes! Of course I would say that because I'm a woman and it would be fun to see that kind of world (but of course, we should fight for equality). The story follows Chen Xiao Qian (Rosy Zhao), a screenwriter struggling to finish her script in time for the shooting of the drama to start as she crosses paths with the arrogant actor in her drama who always opposes her script, actor Han (Ryan Ding). She struggles with finishing her script: lacking script, forgetting to eat (which is the reality of writers) as she also deals with the pressures of the production and the director. She then gets sick and transports herself in to the world she created. Yes, she was transported inside her script where she is the 2nd female lead, who was supposed to die anyway in the 5th episode? As she also sees Actor Han as Han Shuo the prince from a neighboring city where men ruled the world. This is sort of who is better ruling, men or women? You can see the partiality of both sides which was also not good since we should live in a world where equality is observed. Anywho, that is where the hilarious story comes about because she as the second female lead should've brought her sister, the real female lead and the male lead together in order for her to get out of her trance and finish the story. What's funny is that the story that was supposed to happen didn't follow the original tale due to the fact that the male lead fell in love with the second lead. The cast was on point and I really enjoyed this series. They really love their time travelling/other world travelling novels and drama and that entertains me a lot. The ending though. It was funny to see Actor Han having all the memories of Han Shuo in the modern world. If there was a season 2 of this drama, I hope that they get the same cast. I really do.
ACTING/CAST:
I really love the leads chemistry and they complement each other so well. Even the other casts were perfect for their roles. I hope Rosy Zhao and Ryan Ding get paired up again in another drama or better yet a season 2 please!
MUSIC:
There was this one song that I liked but unfortunately it didn't stick to me like the other OSTs of other dramas.
REWATCH VALUE:
I've seen this drama for 2 times now and if this was an underrated drama, I suggest you give this a try.

When I found out that the team behind Legend of Yun Xi were back in another drama, I had to check it out. And to find out that Ju Jing Yi and Zhang Zhe Han are paired out again not to mention that some of the casts from the first drama are also in this drama made me so excited that I had to watch and I could honestly say that this is also a gem.STORY:
The story seems like an alternate dimension or possibly another life after the events of Legend of Yun Xi. There was no confirmation for this but this is what I feel. It follows Fu Rong (Ju Jing Yi) as someone who slightly can predict her future and her future tells her to not cross paths with Xu Jin (Zhang Zhe Han) or else she will suffer a terrible fate. But as they are the leads of the story they definitely cross paths....multiple times and sometimes in a comical way. They eventually get married like the first drama, but here she was just a consort and not a duchess. The plot seemed similar yet different at the same time although if I would compare the two, this story is a bit lighter than the first. Since the characters here were also from the first drama, I could see the mother in law in LoYX as the female lead's mother here, the female antagonist in LoYX is now her sister whom she is very close with, the male lead's brother in LoYX is now a subordinate of the duke in this story....those kind of connections. It felt good to see familiar faces. The ending of this drama is far more better than the first one that it got me thinking: is this a fan service for the viewers who didn't like the ending of LoYX? Plus, the most important part is that I enjoyed the bonus 4 episodes with some of the cast and the leads in modern times.
ACTING/CAST:
I have nothing to say about the chemistry of the leads because it has been proven and tested during LoYX. As a fan of their chemistry, I appreciate the fact that the same team directed them. They know best how they work and I can see that they are more at ease in this drama. The drama is lighter and Zhang Zhe Han's character is a bit more expressive in this drama than the first one which I liked very much. I have nothing to say but I REALLY LIKE THEM ACTING TOGETHER. Also, Zhang Zhe Han in historical costumes is still so prettyyyyyy. I want them to have another drama either in the modern times or a crime thriller perhaps? Though they are well-suited in historical dramas. I just want them to act as a pair in another drama again.
MUSIC:
Yes, the music. I love this drama's OST. I also added the songs in my playlist. What surprised me though is that Ju Jing Yi can sing. She sang some of the memorable songs in this drama and I liked it so much.
REWATCH VALUE:
Yes. Need I say more? Just, yes.

This gave me 16 episodes of Hyun Bin goodness
For me it's a light drama, coz I've seen another drama that had the North/South plot.
Yep, HB and SYJ have amazing chemistry and you can see how natural they look when acting. Plus, SYJ is an amazing actress as expected but yep, this is a light drama for me.
The second lead angst is I guess okay.

This was the first drama JCW aired after he came out from his enlistment so imagine the anticipation. I've been a fan of him ever since Empress Ki and I really was excited plus the plot was kind of interesting. I'm not familiar with the female lead's former dramas but I was interested on how their pairing would work out. Also, for some reason JCW's aura was extra sparkly for me during this drama
For me, this is a light drama. I like the fact that the female and male lead had no non-sense type of personality because if they had that ditzy type I would've dropped this. They played the older generation in modern times quite good. Plus, I was truly entertained with JCW's ahjussi attitude.

This is a companion drama to A Love So Beautiful which was also the reason why I watched this drama. ALSB and PYHOMS share the same author and both were adapted from novels. I was curious on how this plays out which started and revolved around their college life.STORY:
The story starts with Si Tu Mo (Fair Xing) is in a dilemma as to how to live her life after graduation as she crosses paths with Gu Wei Yi (Lin Yi) who is an indifferent, serious, physics major trying to get on with his studies. They meet when STM's mother suggested for her to rent an apartment being owned by her bestfriend not knowing that GWY is the son of that bestfriend. They then start their cohabitation when they found out that they were room mates. Fu Pei (Daddi Tang) is added to the mix as STM's unrequited love who leaves her hanging and gives her hope by treating her well as a friend. Just when STM finally realizes to let go of that love, FP then goes and disrupts her life. I don't entirely know if it's due to possession and the fact that she doesn't see him in the light anymore or he really does like her. I believe that he really does like her but for me that is too late. It is quite pathetic how he goes after her after everything she endured when STM hoped he would like her that way but I guess that's how love works. You'll never know what you've got til it's gone. STM and GWY had chemistry that's for sure and ALSB is a bit lighter in terms of story than PYHOMS. The parents were supportive which I really liked. I didn't like unecessary additions to the plot where the mothers were constantly not liking their son's/daughter's partners because that would've been too cliché. The Germany part of the story is more of a filler to turn their relationship around and errr the kiss scenes are sometimes awkward so I don't know how to feel about that but all in all I'm glad they wrapped it up with them having their own family while still living in the apartment where they met.
ACTING/CAST:
I really don't have anything bad to say with the cast since they had the chemistry needed for the story. The chemistry was there but the kiss scenes were awkward that was all I have to say
MUSIC:
Music is a big factor for me but unfortunately, this drama's OST didn't stick at all.
REWATCH VALUE:
Maybe I'll re-watch this if I don't have anything to watch. Maybe I'll watch this and just play this in the background for fun.

Whoever casted the actors should be given a pay raise, to be honest. It felt like the characters were written for the actors. I could not imagine any other actor who would perfectly convey the emotions and story of the characters so well. The relationship between the group of friends would be the envy of many. Each of the main leads could hold their own.
Lee Ik Jun is that crazy genius of a doctor and a solo father. Ahn Jung Won is a doctor who defied his catholic family to become a doctor. Kim Jun Wan is that arrogant, doctor. Yang Suk Hyung is that mama's boy but a very empathic doctor. Chae Song Hwa is the glue that holds their group. Everyone had their story to tell and I liked the fact that it was more of a synergy of stories rather than who's story is better.
Also, I love the scenes where they were practicing as a band. Thus, the name "Hospital Playlist". It's so funny to see the legend of a theatre actress Jeon Mi Do to act like a tone deaf vocalist. She is that good. And the time they invested to learn all the songs to make it as authentic as it ought to be is admirable. Especially the part where they practiced Canon Rock. That was hard but they pulled it off. But I think my favorite performance would be the song "Met You By Chance" which by the way is not included in the physical album. WHY??? Aloha will always have a special place in my heart. Them singing it in karaoke is reminiscent of how me and my friends sing karaoke. This is why their friendship is so convincing. They definitely had the friendship chemistry down to a T. Oh, and I especially love that Aloha is winning in the charts.
Can we just talk about the chemistry between Ik Jun and his son, Woo Ju? It's tooooo cute. They have the perfect chemistry. I really can't wait for the second season. 12 episodes is to short for me. I need more!

Season 1 took me into a roller coaster ride of emotions and the fact that the actors blend with each other so well, and the story was one of the best. Yeo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin had good chemistry and they acted really good in season 1.
For this sequel, even though Ahn Yeo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung's chemistry did not create an immense impact for me, I'm still here for the Doldam Crew. They are the heart and soul of the show and I missed them very much.
