The first time I heard this kind of story I had an idea what it would be like in my mind which is quite somehow a 'twisted story' knowing the roles of the characters already especially the main lead. I was able to watch other dramas of him and his role here as somewhat a 'psychotic' tutor made me reminisce the role he used to play before in an another drama which is The Quiz Show 2. I don't have any idea how the story will go though I have a feeling of its concept. Regardless of my impression of his role or an idea of what kind of drama will it be I decided to give this drama a try. As the drama goes from one episode to another I found myself glued and wanted to know more about the characters and how the story will eventually end. My curiosity brought me to watch one episode to another. At first episodes, I find this drama a bit dragging but glad after a few episodes before it ends it became interesting for me. I find the acting just fine but I can see Kamiki Ryunosuke could act as a villain in future acting roles and of course Sho Sakurai really played well. I was able to see Kamiki before in other dramas especially he began as a child actor but watching him now I could see his potential. Those two are the stand-out for me in this drama. I commend the whole cast for a job well done. I'm not too particular with the music but it fits enough the whole drama. I like Endless Game because it suits the theme of the drama.Maybe I can re-watch it with other people but not by myself anymore since the curiosity factor is already gone and I know how the story it goes. Overall, this drama is not your typical family drama which is why it's a must watch and it gives you something to ponder about at the end of the day. It's definitely not a boring drama. :)
I love the chemistry between Sho and Maki here and this is the drama I officially became a ShoMaki haha! I thought the concept about the drama will bore me which is about legal stuff but I was wrong. I was able to enjoy the drama because of Sho and Maki. I particularly love the theme song of the drama 'Troublemaker' which gives an enjoyable feel. I also love the fact that Sho's role here shows his not so serious side while Maki is the strong independent woman which is somehow a turn around from the characters they usually play in their other dramas. I would definitely re-watch this drama. I'm obviously a bias about the two main leads but I'm sure you'll enjoy this if you are into the drama's concept and at the same time you want to enjoy and not so into so serious stuff then I do recommend this drama especially if you are an Arashi or a Sho fan.
Certainly one of my favorite Japanese drama. The way the story was presented, I love how the students faced the challenges from one episode to another. It's not your typical school drama where students face ordinary challenges of a student's life. Of course, the story revolves inside the classroom. The teacher's role here makes the drama more interesting and something to watch out for as the title of the drama itself. I love Shida Mirai's character and of course the teacher. I commend the acting of the students as well and even the teachers. They did their best but surely those two main characters are the stand out for me. It's not boring for me. The music sure helped to live up with the atmosphere of the story. I will definitely re-watch it if I feel like to. This drama is something to watch out for if you want a school drama with a twist. The story is somehow close to reality which can make you relate to it. Some instances can happen in real life. But certainly you can learn from it. You can symphatize with the characters and what they are going through.
I'm not a fan of the anime and wasn't able to watch it but I have to agree that this movie is simply one of the best Japanese action movie out there. I love the action scenes and it really kept me entertained that I wasn't able to notice the time and it kept me wanting for more. Sato Takeru is perfect as Kenshin. Though it's fast-paced it didn't bother me though I know you will appreciate the movie more if you are a fan of the anime or if you are familiar with the story. But even if I'm not an fan/avid follower I could say that I enjoyed the movie. If you are an action fan I do recommend this movie. I could definitely re-watch it again. I'm looking forward for the next installments.
I obviously watched it because of Sho Sakurai. Detective dramas are not my priority or my fave genre but it depends on the plot/acting of the actors. I'm not that impressed in this drama though I do commend Sho Sakurai's acting here. I personally think that he and Keiko doesn't have a great chemistry here. Keiko is perfect for the role of the heiress. I love the music because the theme is from Arashi. I would watch it if I feel like it but not my top priority.
I only finished watching it now. I should have tried watching it wayyy back. It's one of those dramas that will keep you glued and want for more. I find myself craving for more after watching this drama so most likely I will watch the next installments of this drama. I didn't notice the time while watching it. I find the acting of the main characters and even the supporting characters great and unforgettable. I find Nao annoying at times but I guess it's her role to be like that so it's ok. I find her acting convincing enough because she was able to make me feel that way. The music adds to the appeal to this drama. It makes your heart skip a beat. I love the music. I will most likely watch the drama again if I want to whether I'm alone or with other people. Overall, this is one of the great suspense dramas out there which teaches you a lesson and something to ponder about life especially about TRUST. It's entertaining and educational at the same time which makes it more interesting to watch. :)
An amusing very light and short drama which is great for those who don't like too sappy, boring and common themes for typical school dramas. Yamamoto Yusuke (Yamada) and Nishiuchi Mariya as Shiraishi are the best here and they should be since they are the main leads. I don't know anything about the manga but based on how the story is presented and how the actors acted it's quite manga-like and they did well with their comic expressions. Mariya-san can play roles both in comedic and serious roles if she wants to. Yusuke-san did a great effort with his role as well with those many swapping scenes he had. With the story,it's a school drama with a twist and that's what makes this drama unique and interesting for me. It's not a typical school drama that revolves around the students' school lives, not too preachy about school/life lessons and also not too focused on romantic stuff. It tackles more on the history of the supernatural powers and how the witches cope with it. The two main leads have chemistry as well as the acting of the supporting cast. I don't like the music that much because it's too cutesy for me but it suits the drama well so it's fine. I don't know if I will re-watch it again but I do recommend it for those who want a not-so-ordinary school theme drama and a drama that's not too long and just for pure fun and entertainment.
Quite an interesting drama that decided to tackle a taboo theme. I chose to watch this because of Ninomiya Kazunari. The theme of the story is all about typical teenagers and how they deal with life especially their curiosity with sex and other typical teenage issues like friendship, school, family. Yeah, I do agree it's close to American Pie and it's like a Japanese version but I do want to commend the acting of the actors. I love the flow and twist of the story especially at the latter part. I also like the love triangles. It's close to reality making you feel for the characters and relate to it. I do recommend it for those who are in for teenage themes. I can re-watch it and it's best to watch with friends/peers your age.
After watching Prince Turned Into A Frog, I decided to search for more dramas of the two main leads: Ming Dao and Joe Chen and I encountered this one and decided to try it because most of the PTIF cast was here and I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it. I do find the female lead's acting a bit overacting or exaggerated to some extent because she tries to act too cute but it's all right. I let it slip because in general I was entertained by the drama. I did enjoy the love triangles and how it focused on beauty, fashion and style. I could also rewatch it again just like PTIAF maybe after a long time.
Classic plot but at least the actors saved it. I'm in for entertainment so I was able to stand the drama. I was entertained not only of the main leads' acting but also the rest of the characters. I find the delivery and atmosphere of the drama light and fun which is great for my taste. I was able to forgive the old classic plot of the drama because the actors and their acting and the execution of the drama is fun and entertaining. I also particularly like the music or OST. I can definitely re-watch it if I want to whether I'm alone or with people.
Another sports drama but surprisingly it focused more on the dreams/romance part than playing the sport. It's not that of a great story for me even the acting though there's chemistry between Keiko and Yamapi. They look good together but the story could've been better. The music was just average. Story could be inspiring and more focused on pursuing dreams so it's also inspirational. I recommend this to Yamapi and Keiko fans. It's not my priority for re-watch but generally it's an average drama you can watch if you want a sports-themed/romance/inspirational drama in one.
I haven't watched the Korean version of this drama but I could say this is one of the best suspense Japanese drama I have ever watched. It is one of the dramas that left me a great and deep impression that will last for a long time and probably it will stay. It's one of the unforgettable dramas I have ever watched. It's really haunting. With the story, it is not a typical revengeful type of drama because I like the twists and turns of the story. But most especially I really like the acting that the cast portrayed here. They really did a great job from main actors to supporting ones. They really gave a great, lasting performance. I love their facial expressions. I like the acting of the two main leads: Ohno Satoshi and Ikuta Toma. They totally owned their characters. I could call them with their characters' name in the drama than their real life names already. Aside from that, it has a great soundtrack. The music is not annoying. It really fits the pacing of the drama. I really like the theme song: Truth. I could re-watch this whenever I feel like it. It's not boring. I finished it for 1 1/2 days but I guess if you are really hooked you can finish it much earlier than me. It's one of those dramas you can't put down easily and you can't stop once you watch it. ONE OF THE BEST ENDINGS EVER. Totally leaves you with a deep impression you will never forget. Beware! :)
It focuses more on the relationship between the characters especially the main ones than the making of the chocolates itself. A realistic drama about unrequited love and the ending is realistic enough. There's not much of a character progress between the characters. It could've been improved. I particularly like the music of the drama. The actors' acting was fine and didn't just relied on visuals. It's not a drama that I could re-watch again. It's not on my priority list. What I like about the story is that it definitely shows the realistic struggles that love could bring to anyone and the imperfections of the characters making them human.
I am an Arashi fangirl but even though I am one I must say that this drama special is worth watching for because of the story development. I was able to enjoy it and it kept me interested and focused to know what's going to happen next. More than the artists and the acting of the actors what really made me finish this movie is its plot. It's indeed a suspense and a mystery. You'll want to know the turn of events or how the story will end. You will feel involved or a part of the drama because this will keep you guessing how the story will go. If you like that kind of genre then I do suggest you try this one. There's no specific emphasis on the background of the characters or the character development but it does not really affect the story because what will keep you interested is the story more than the characters. I do commend the acting of the main actors even the supporting actors. This drama special is worth watching as a break from heavy dramas.
I wasn't able to watch the first Quiz Show 1 and I was thinking if I'll be able to understand this drama but I decided to watch it because of Sakurai Sho. I admit I'm an Arashi fan so I decided to watch this drama because knowing Sho Sakurai I want to know how he will be able to incorporate his good hosting skills in real life to this drama. I'm glad I gave this drama as a try because I haven't seen any drama with this kind of plot yet and this is the first. I find Sho Sakurai's acting here as brilliant. As expected, he was a great host and he was able to use well his hosting skills here. I commend Yokoyamu Yu and the rest of the cast. I felt the emotion, great expressions of the artists so they did really well for me. I also love the twists of the drama revealing secrets of each contestant. I also like the theme song and the music fits well the atmosphere of the drama. I might not re-watch this alone though 'cause I already know what happened and there's no surprise factor for me but I definitely recommend this drama for those who like psychological/suspense dramas. I love Sho's smirks. :)
