Might change later depending on ending
Considering that the Dr Romantic series had an immense success in both seasons 1&2, I had high expectations for season 3. There were only a few K-dramas that I heavily invested in - and Dr. Romantic is one of them. At the end of season 2, the ending was satisfactory, in which KSB (Dr Kim) got what he wanted, which was to build a trauma centre for those in need. I also loved the fact that he worked with his enemy-turned-bestie building their dreams together. Plus the romance between Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin bloomed at the end - though it was a bit vague. So when they announced season 3, I was excited, mainly because the heavy dramas were finished; the main antagonist from seasons 1 and 2 was finished, so I thought the drama will be focused more on the daily lives of doctors and their occupational values. However, once I watched season 3, not only the father-in-law card was played, it seems like the reason why the antagonist was that way was the same as previous seasons - only more "makjang".
This review might change, but tbh was a bit disappointed.
