Both dramas have a complicated relationship between the two leads. The leads are powerful and even stronger when they work together. Both male leads appear cold to people who don't know them but unconditionally love the female lead and will do anything to protect her. The female lead is devoted to protecting the male lead and suffer a lot for it. The plots involve evil royalty and political scheming. Both dramas are serious but not tragedies.

The plots and vibes are totally different, but these are both top-tier enemies-to-friends dramas. One of the leads is a commoner who is very clever and has a variety of different friends, while the other comes from a more privileged background and feel pressured to act against their better natures. All of the leads get involved in an elaborate quest for revenge that is related to their parents. Handsome Siblings is a traditional wuxia with romance and lots of interesting side characters, while A League of Nobleman is a gothic murder mystery.

They have very different vibes but both are fantasy dramas that start out slow and deal with death and revenge. Both female leads are bad-tempered and selfish, as well as very powerful, who need to move on from their desire for revenge. They have both had close brushes with death and had people they cared for die to protect them, which starts them on their quests for revenge. Both male leads are good-natured and one of the few people who is not afraid of the female lead. There are a lot of side characters with their own interesting but usually tragic backstories.

Hotel del Luna is very gothic and tragic, while The Legends is more comedic and action-based. The male lead in The Legends is also very powerful, whereas in Hotel del Luna, the female lead is easily the most powerful person in the main cast. The dynamics of the two couples are also very different, since they are constantly bickering in Hotel del Luna, while in The Legends, the male lead is very gentle towards the female lead.

Both are mini historical dramas that have intrigue and are a bit dark. They are well-produced and have some action scenes. Both have a reserved but proactive FL who gets the plot going. Unlike Dong Lan Xue, the romance in Legend of Yunze is between two women and is downplayed.

Both are tragic romances between two characters who trapped by circumstances and are forced to act against their better natures. While Bloody Romance has the kind FL trapped with the powerful ML who decides to help her, The Blue Whisper has the kind ML as the one who gets trapped at the start with the powerful FL helping him. The characters are forced into conflicts that they would rather avoid and work against those in power who are mostly villainous. There are betrayals and misunderstandings, but the leads end up growing as people. Both explore the complexities of morality.

It takes some serious imagination to view the relationship between the MLs as purely platonic. They express their love for one another is many different ways and are ready to die for one another. One ML is incredibly powerful and viewed as a villain because of something he has no control over, while the other ML is colder and more reserved and figures out the secret identity of the other ML. There is a lot of action and sacrifice, and the leads have a lot of fun banter with one another.

Both are dark fantasy dramas. The MLs have a condition that makes them consider themselves to be monsters and have to suppress their violent tendencies. They start out hating the FLs, who are normal humans, before getting to know them better and deciding to work together. The villains act like they want to be friends with the MLs and see themselves as more than humans. Both dramas have some humorous moments but are overall tragedies.

Both are sci fi movies with multinational casts that have people from the working class trying to protect children. The protagonists aren't traditional heroes but are pushed into that role. Both show the importance of building relationships with people that are initially a bit antagonistic.

Both are mystery thrillers with no romance, interesting visuals, and a great soundtrack. The leads work in different professions and are initially antagonistic towards one another but slowly form a close bond, and they try to solve a mystery involving their pasts. Most of them don't know how to fight and have to trap their enemies instead, though there still are plenty of action scenes. Also, there is an element of revenge in both. The Guest is a supernatural horror story while A League of Nobleman is more magical realism and involves some court politics.
