Hi :) My journey into dramaland started in the year 2019. It was lockdown, I was bored and K-pop and K-drama were all the rave back then. And naturally, like everything in my life, I went down this rabbit hole too. I don't think I have ever been casual about anything in my life. But, this rabbit hole might have been the best thing to happen to me during my teen years. It provided me with some of the most awesome memories that I will cherish forever. It pulled me up during some tough times and even helped me befriend some of my closest friends.
Music is my lifeline. I don't think I can get through anything without a piece of background music that helps me romanticise everything.I listen to almost all genres but my favourite genre would be bedroom pop. I am an Army and a Carat. However, I have to admit that I am nearing the end of my fangirl phase since I am more of a casual listener now. I always look forward to connecting with people that have similar music tastes. So if u are interested, please go ahead and follow me on my Spotify (let's be friends :))
Likes: (I need one of each every so often to be content)
Romance
Coming-of age
Fantasy(xinxia)
Comedy(especially action-comedies)
Period-pieces(its kind of a hit or miss usually)
Slice-of-Life(cooking& travel related are my faves)
Variety Shows(again travel and cooking-related)
(P.S: It is kind of obvious that I like anything that is travel or cooking-related. I like to live vicariously through them)
Dislikes: (I don't like hate them! I just watch them less often)
Musicals(It's just not realistic enough when people start singing out of nowhere), Medical (The stress is just too much), Sports(Exceptions can be made!)
According to my routine, I always need a funny variety show to start my day, a drama to watch, while I eat my food, and a slow drama(with not many plot twists and characters) that I can watch during my filler time when I am either commuting or waiting for something, an anime to watch while I do my self-care and finally a good and inspirational slice-of-life to watch before I go to bed. It must soothe my soul and help me forgive and forget all the bad things from the day.
