Han Qi Luo, an extremely shy art student went to the same college as Chen Ling, a popular play boy. By chance one day they met at a park when Chen Ling asked Qi Luo for direction to a hospital to visit his friend who was injured in a bike racing incident. Hurriedly Qi Luo drew him a map, unknowing that she was drawing on the back of one of her sketches. She ran off before he could thank her. Kim Hyuk lives a fast life as a high-ranking mobster in the port city of Busan, South Korea. His closest friend is fellow mobster Lee Young Choon. Kim Hyuk is able to shoot his way out of the meeting, but he is later caught by the Thai police and imprisoned. When good friend Lee Young Choon hears of what happened to Kim Hyuk in Thailand, he goes to the Thai gang's holdout in Pusan to kill their boss. During the shootout, Jung Tae Min is shot in the leg. Three years later, Kim Hyuk is finally released from prison and travels back to Busan. He finds his close friend Lee Young Choon washing cars now and has a limp leg. Jung Tae Min, the man that betrayed him, has climbed up the mob ranks and is now a feared crime boss. Furthermore, Kim Hyuk's younger brother Kim Chul has arrived in Busan and works for the Busan Police Department. Meanwhile, Kim Chul keeps close tabs on Jung Tae Min as he attempts to take down their gang. When Jung Tae Min attempts to take out Kim Hyuk's younger brother, Kim Hyuk throws himself back into the gang world to exact revenge.

Minoru (Kento Hayashi) and Aki (Kie Kitano) have grown up together from a young age. Contrary to wimpish Minoru, Aki, who normally looks ladylike, is very strong at fighting, hence Aki has always protected Minoru from being bullied. Their dynamics remains the same into their high school years. Wanting to break out of this situation, Minoru starts going to a boxing gym run by Oki (Takao Osawa), whom he met by chance. However, Aki, who gets wind of it, is fascinated with boxing as well, and joins the same boxing club. Minoru feels depressed as he is again unable to break free of Aki's influence. Through boxing, however, Minoru realizes that he has been running away from Aki and not facing her properly until now.

Hatanaka Kosaku is a talented boxer who turned pro at the age of 19, winning his debut match with a first-round KO. He is talented, but he has no guts. His uncontrollable appetite is an even bigger problem. He can't put himself in the right weight class, he runs out of energy because of hunger, and he gets knocked out while his eyes are set on food at the ringside. However, Kosaku's life changed when he met Sister Angela, a novice nun in the convent near his boxing gym. She became the source of his power, and Kosaku fights only to win her heart.

Definitely about fighting what you think is so precious & worth to you. I really like both movies. Ai to Makoto/ For Love's Sake is adapted from manga/comic book. If you like high school romance genre with a bit comedy & action I recommend both movies.
