They reconciled

I like that they didn't stretch out the drama between them for too long and had them make up pretty quickly. This episode was also quite dramatic, but it was well acted and it ended on a positive note. My notes:- Ahh yes get your boy back- Their matching scarves are adding years to my life I swear- I love the found family aspect of this show it's so cozy- First time I've heard that Geminis are flirty lol, I guess I'm the exception- Sleeping on the same bed again I'm done T-T- If anything happens to Duo I'm not responsible for my actions- Yess beat his ass!- The conversation in their bedroom was great. I'm so happy they have eachother- That girl is kind of manipulative tbh. Fixing up his book to get him to do something for her.- I didn't know Ms. Zhou wasn't actually his aunt so I was flabbergasted when he told his Dad to marry her lmao- Omg they actually did itt - Bro got brother-zoned

...Good?

I liked the humor at numerous points throughout the episode - the main character is especially funny to me. I thought he was Green from 2gether at first lol, but turns out he isn'tI think I can see where the plot is going - the groom and the bride are marrying out of convenience, and allow their partner to pursue other relationships outside their own. However, it still feels a little bit weird, mainly because Nuea is not aware of that fact - that makes his locker room scene much more awkward, because he's terrified of getting with a groom-to-be. Which is, you know, understandable.

Cute first episode

This first episode was lighthearted and warm - it's giving me 'Our Dating Sim' vibes, with the two main leads meeting again at work. Their interactions are also quite similar, with the more assertive and higher-ranked character and the one that looks like a deer in the headlights lol

The one where everything goes downhill

I'm not the biggest fan of drama, but I still have to give this a high score because it's objectively really well done: the acting, the intensity, the feelings - it all made sense for the story and was necessary to move the plot forward. My notes:- The fake dad and the real dad arguing over who's the real one was so funny- And obviously Su Yu's going to come over right when Wu Bi and his father are having a screaming match about their familial issues - a little bit too convenient for my taste, but it had to happen eventually I guess- Well we're back at square one, they hate each other now, cheers- Not the montage of their moments together I'm begging you T-T- Yeah, I definitely don't like the mom.- Su Yu should've thought this through before punching Wu Bi, the guy literally won a fight against 5 grown men and didn't even break a sweat- Well this is miserable isn't it?

They like each other now

This episode was great! I prefer their dynamic as friends to be honest, as it's much more interesting to watch. My notes:- Not homegirl telling him her blood type the second she sees him lmao I can't- When you willingly transfer to a poorer school yet are surprised when you find out a classmate is poor:- The stained jacket gave me flashbacks to that MSP extra special episode that was an ad for detergent- OK so we are friends now it's all good- He really invited himself over to Su Yu's place without a second thought okayy- Someone help out my man Han Bokuang, he didn't sign up for the impromptu wrestling lesson lol

Why

It just felt like they needed to have some drama before the last episode and so they shoe-horned the 'going abroad' trope to create it. It didn't feel organic like the other episodes (Day going blind, or Day confessing to August and it going wrong) - this was completely unnecessary. And also - why did Mhok lie to Day? This, again, felt forced. Mhok should have been straightforward with him and been like, 'Hey, they offered me the job, but I love you and don't want to do long distance', and that's it!! It doesn't even have to be because he's blind!! There are ways to create drama without it being nonsensical - for example, have Mhok be overprotective of Day and Day get tired of it, because he feels overwhelmed and like he's not being taken seriously as a grown adult man. That would have been *great* ------ On the other hand, love Phojai and Night, they're adorable, I hope they become a little family with Me.

Please

The acting is AMAZING, the story is super unique, and you can feel the horror just like the main character - seeing the game fall apart as he tries to fix everything had me so stressed omg ------- Lowered the score because the breakup was just unnecessary. Don't make my boy cry please.

Kind of disappointed

I thought I'd love this series after watching the first two episodes. I had a really good feeling about it. Everything felt so different than all the other bl k-dramas I've watched: it was bold, had a lot of innuendo and sexual tension, and overall was funny and entertaining. Idk what has happened with the last two episodes. They're just plain boring, nothing is going on and there's too much focus on the other two guys that are chasing after Lee Jun (who, mind you, doesn't even seem interested in either of them. He just looks perpetually confused). I cannot believe that they still haven't even kissed by ep. 5 (out of 8!!). They also pulled the 'miscommunication' trope with the fiancée, I really hope they fix it soon.

Kisses, finally???

I can't believe we got TWO kisses in a single episode. I'm still unsure about whether the first one was real or one of the fujoshi's fantasies, but I'll take it anyway. We also got an 'I love you' (no, I'm not counting the 'Ocean' add-on at the end, that was obviously an excuse to say that he loves him). I feel like we're missing a scene where they hook up or something because they keep acting like they're a couple (see: the 'I'm slick all over' scene where Su Yu kicked him under the table?? What was that??). Anyway, great episode, I was invested all the way through. Also, one last thing, why was the beach scene a green screen?? Was it so hard to film on a real beach? It looked so weird lol

Finally oh my god

I spent the entire episode screaming 'Just tell him!!' at the screen because he just wouldn't?? Literally wrote 'TELL HIM' like 5 times in my notes throughout the episode (and also: 'What did she just say??') Idk the girl got on my nerves, she needs to go like now. Loved the acting, the intensity, and the drama (it's a first for me lol). Wu Bi went a little bit off the rails, let's hope he can chill after this - he went all possessive and stalker-y on Su Yu, and I don't know how to feel about that. However, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a little bit giddy when he said 'Su Yu is mine' - is it toxic? Yes. Am I clinging desperately to any proof available that this is going to be a BL and not just a bromance? Maybe.

Funny but also no. Please no.

Lost points because 1) they pulled the miscommunication trope with Karan's supposed girlfriend and 2) the fucking fujoshi please can we STOP with these characters?? It's not funny, it's weird, shipping fictional characters is fine but not people you know in real life (and certainly not having them as your wallpaper wth) - I swear I'm so tired of this trope. Also, how the hell did Karan get Achi inside his own house? Was the door just open? ---- And ALSO. Why do they keep calling Jinta 'Uncle'? My poor man is only a year older than his 'partner' but they treat him like an old man lol

Kind of... ok

I'm not going to lie, I can feel that they wanted me to love this episode but I didn't. It's fine, it's not bad at all, but I found it lacking in many aspects. For starters, I don't think the emotional scenes were that well acted. The actors have great chemistry, but when they're going through or recounting such heartwrenching situations I just don't *feel* that sadness yk? I guess I'll never be the same after the acting in Bad Buddy oh well. And another thing, I'd have preferred the dad to stay as a morally grey character. He did abandon his kids after all, and it felt like they forgave him completely without a reason? I think he's a deeply flawed individual who's been hurt and has hurt others, and both sides of him should be acknowledged.

Relatable

Just like in the og I sympathize so much with Atom and Mudmee because sports will never be my thing. I love all the couples but, just like in the og, I don't really like Kongthap/Ida's response to being confessed to. "More than friends but less than boyfriends" is very vague and it's kind of playing with Atom's (very real) feelings.

Mudmee all the way

Bumping up the rating just because my girl took a leap of faith and I nearly died while watching her scene with Half. Well done
